Best no-frills extension board with a minor con
I've got a few of these (both the 1-switch and 3+1 switch variants), and you can judge whether I recommend them or not from the picture itself! I have three mounted here, and 2 in the storage for use whenever needed (or when I'm in a PG / hotel). I've had the fuse blow off due to a sudden power surge, I've replaced it and all my electronics continue working as if nothing ever happened. They work for a long time (the oldest is 5 years old, I got it from a local shop), the sockets don't become loose after a while, and yes it does support upto the rated current assuming your fuse and main power board is able to handle it. The cord length is enough, I've never felt that it was short in all the different places I've used these in. A good feature is the RFI / EMI filter LEDs in the front. If the combination is anything other than LED 1 & 3 glowing, you know something's wrong based on the helpful info right below it. There's only one small con: you cannot have the thing in socket 1 off and things in sockets 2,3, and 4 on at the same time. This is because the socket 1 doesn't have a switch of its own, it can only be controlled by the master switch. The rest work as intended.

Ok product
It worked for a year and got short circuit and wire heated up and burnt. Missed major accident. Not sure why the failure mechanism dint work or why fuse dint blow before wire burn. Be cautious

Functional surge protecting power strip
โ The cord is white in colour with red inserts and black print. It is around 11 inches long and 2 inches wide with 1 inch high โ There are four sockets and switches, a 6A fuse and four LED indicators. The sockets are labelled Computer, Monitor, Printer and Speaker โ The sockets are shuttered with rubber doors โ There is an LED indicator to indicate power state and three other indicators that show various states โ The cable is around a meter and a half in length with standard 3-pin plug โ There are nail sockets at the back to wall-hang this strip โ This can be opened for repairs by means of the six screws at the back โ Overall, the build quality is strong and sturdy ** Usage & Performance ** โ The strip is powered on by On/Off switch. If everything is alright, 1st and 3rd LEDs light up and power will be through into the first socket โ The three LED indicators light up in different combinations to indicate various states of filters which are marked clearly. I have never seen any of those combinations coming up and I dont really know what they are either โ The sockets accept Indian, US and EU plugs. It accepts 2 pin as well as 3 pin plugs โ There is plenty of room between the sockets โ The toal wattage of devices that can be connected is 1500watts. In the event of an overload, the 6A fuse blows out and the Fuse Blown LED lights up โ The rubber shutters avoid chances for accidental contact with socket pins โ There are four sockets and three switches only. One socket is directly wired with On/Off switch. I dont think this is a weird design since they have designed to use it with a computer system. So, if the computer is connected to the directly wired socket, all other devices that are dependant on computer will not be needed if computer is turned off. This means if the On/Off switch is on, computer turns on and other devices can be turned on with individual switches. โ Eventhough the labelling says this would filter radio interferences due to radio and electromagnetic signals, I had no opportunity to test that ** I dont like these ** โ The length of the cable is too short for an extension cord. I would be more happy if it was more than 2 meters โ The colour is white and the finish is matte-like. This will definitely catch a lot of dirt and dust over a period of time ** Summary ** โ I use this at my TV stand to connect DVD player, Set Top Box, speakers, etc. and is quite happy with the performance so far โ I paid Rs.449 in Feb-17. Eventhough there are a few things that I dont like on these, I very well knew these from the product description. Hence I rate FIVE stars โ If this review helped you in one way or the other, please consider hitting 'Yes or Helpful'.

Lets just say that Panasonic (Anchor) shoved switches in the gaps
(TL;DR at the bottom) I bought a spike guard from Anchor (Model No: 22047) several years ago. I really liked it as it actually saved my PC from a power surge. The 6 Ampere fuse did really help. Recently I needed a new spike guard with switches for each socket. So I decided to go with this spike guard from Anchor (Model No: 22568). The design of model 22568 is exactly same as that of model 22047 with the only difference being that Panasonic actually shoved switches in the gaps! (refer attached images). Now here comes the problem. The 22568 spike guard is NOT SUITABLE FOR BULKY ADAPTERS (refer attached images). If you are going to use generic 2-pin or 3-pin plugs then this spike guard may work for you. Other than that it has a 6 Ampere fuse, LED indicators that work really good, and decent switches. Anchor Model 22047: amazon.in/Anchor-Panasonic-22047-Plastic-Socket/dp/B00H7BC1PC/ Anchor Model 22568: amazon.in/Anchor-Electricals-Power-Individual-Switch/dp/B00H7BI1BK/ TL;DR Pros: 1) 6A Fuse 2) LED indicators Cons: 1) Bulky adapters won't fit Overall verdict: It's a good product but you may want to look into alternatives (if plug size matters).

Cost very very high in comparison to other products
Price is too high and quality is not visible. All plastic and looks fragile. Not worth more than 350 rs. Avoid.

Much more than a power strip - look out for indicated faults.
I brought this product because I wanted individual switches for all my devices. This is more than a power strip, it apparently performs RFI/EMF Filtering ( god knows what it is! ), the incoming power is processed through a hardware logic, which also indicates faults through the onboard LEDs. My experience says that unless the fault status is "All OK", the hardware logic will cause the devices to misbehave, in my case my computer monitor started leaking & causing an electric shock, even when the corresponding switch is turned off. Once I addressed the causes for the "All OK" (they were not really issues in a traditional sense), its working fine now.
