Pleasantly surprised!
I've been losing weight and I'm on HRT, so my cherished ring has been sliding off my finger. I moved it to my middle finger, but it just didn't feel right, and I didn't want to get it adjusted because I know my arthritis will cause my knuckles to swell. Enter this. Everything came as advertised, and although the ring holder was a bit awkward, it also had some clay putty that held the ring perfectly. The resin was gloopy and easy to apply, and cured near-instantly under the provided UV lamp. There was some overspill, but it was more that the resin relaxed than it ran out. A small pair of sharp nail scissors removed the majority of the excess and a simple nail file brought the resin in line with the rest of the ring - it's invisible while on my finger and doesn't spoil the look at all. Additionally, while cured the resin has a gentle curve to it and is soft enough that I don't feel it constantly bumping against my finger. I presume that I'll stop noticing its even there after a few days. Everything came about as advertised and it was definitely worth the money, especially since there's more than enough to redo the ring if required or do others. Fantastic.

Great for all rings, and sizing
I was pretty skeptical about this stuff, but having tolerated those old style rubbery plastic ring adjusters for ages, I decided I'd give this a go. What a game changer! Super easy to apply, cured quickly under the little lamp, and feels really solid. I can't feel it at all, and you can't tell it's there while I'm wearing my rings. I've used it to build up a large amount on a flat, gold band, and a smaller amount on an twisted, silver band. I feel like my rings actually fit again. Great product.

Does the job
Trying to avoid shelling out to have rings adjusted by a jeweller I have purchased several things to make rings fit. This is in my opinion the best “sizer” so far. It takes practice but is very effective.

Effective
Effective. It’s a bit messy and needs tidying up, but it’s easy to use a nail file to resolve spillage

The solution wears away after approximately 2 weeks so you will need to reapply. It’s not going to last long. Defo works but just wares away

Brilliant! Using UV resin to create a ring spacer
Update: I’ve been using this since August 2025. It is now February 2026 and I can report without a doubt that this is an awesome product. Just tonight I reapplied some UV resin to compensate for the erosion of the UV after constant wear. It was by no means worn off, but the ring had gotten slightly looser. I also used it to solder together a three ring stacked set. Please see the included photos. I can unequivocably say this product works, and if you have issues with it, practice makes perfect. Just make sure you cure it for an extent period of time. It should not be sticky. I used a wooden clothing pin to hold my rings under the UV light and it worked perfectly. So just like the title says, all this is is UV resin. You put thin layers on the bottom of your ring to create a spacer that keeps your ring from spinning and gives you a better fit. As is usually the case with any product that requires a bit of finesse, practice makes perfect. If you’ve never used UV resin before, or your hands are shaky, you can expect to take several tries before you get this just the way you want it. A word of caution, the thinner your ring band is the harder it will be to apply. This product works by using surface tension to keep the resin firmly on the band. The less surface, the less tension. The resin is going to have a greater chance of dripping over the sides. Do not be dismayed though. Just get yourself a sewing needle, sewing needle, etc., and use it to scoop up the viscous UV resin and re-deposit it on the band. Having some resin on the sides is actually a good thing because there’s more surface coverage, which means you’re going to have better adhesion. How long this UV resin spacer lasts hinges completely on what you do while you wear your ring. If you’re constantly dunking your hands in hot water, or your ring is constantly banging on a hard surface, like a desk or a keyboard, chances are your spacer is going to detach a lot sooner. Since this is meant to be a temporary solution, all you need to do is pry off the old spacer and apply a new one. Having worked with UV resin for many years I’m surprised I needed this product to remind me of just how versatile and useful it could be. I am pleased that I bought it however, because the light is just the right size. Should you run out of your resin it’s very easy to buy more online, including through Amazon, and it’s not expensive. I recommend keeping the bottle because the application nozzle definitely makes the job a lot easier. Here are some tips to get the best results. What it’s got multiple balls in here how are you doing? 1) Prop your light up in the box, using the bottom leg as a stand and the back of the box as support. The upper leg becomes the arm you then dangle your ring from. 2) use a rubber band, string, or some kind of attachment to hang the ring from the “arm” of the light. Make sure that you can change the position of the ring so that you can cure it from both sides. 3) use a small mirror, or a piece of cardboard wrapped in the shiny side of aluminum foil and place that in front of the lamp while curing. This will reflect the UV light back towards the ring and give you a better cure. 4) make sure that your ring has been wiped down with alcohol. This will ensure that there are no oils or dirt present that could prevent the resin from adhering to the metal. I would not recommend using this on plastic as you could form a permanent bond. 5) don’t be afraid to do multiple layers and build up your spacer. You don’t have to do it all in one go. Just make sure that you completely cure each layer before you go onto the next. Use a needle or toothpick, or something similar, to manipulate the resin. This will give you better control and better results. Use a little bit of sandpaper, preferably wet dry 320 grit, and just lightly go over the UV resin to give it some tooth and help the next layer stick. It’s not a requirement, but again, we’re looking for best results. 6) if you’re having trouble with your UV curing, try this. Start with a clean ring. Put a small amount on the ring and flash cure it, meaning you’re going to have it under there for no more than 30 seconds or so, just enough to harden the outer layer. This will prevent the resin from moving when you take it off the lamp. Then submerge the resin covered portion of the ring in water and cure it the rest of the way with the lamp. This often speeds up curing and helps eliminate the stickiness that can come with some resins. Upon completion of curing, you can go over the resin with some alcohol to clean it up. 7) if you have an uncomfortable amount of spill over, resin is just hard plastic and can be sanded away. Use that same 320 grit sandpaper and gently sand away the unwanted portions of resin. You could even use a Mani Pedi kit if it comes with one of those electric files. Very helpful! Emery boards are another very helpful tool. All in all, I really really like this kit and I feel very stupid for having waited almost 4 months to use it. Now my brand new wedding ring fits like a dream and I don’t have any more issues with it spinning and ending up diamonds down. I highly recommend giving it a try and with just a little bit of practice, you’ll find that it’s easy to use and gives you that comfortable fit you’ve been looking for!

Easy and Effective
I recently got engaged and my ring is a tad bit big for me, which is fine because my fingers tend to swell up in the summer and shrink in the winter. I have ring adjusters, however those tend to become a little bit annoying because they sometimes unravel, or they move around the band of the ring and start to cover all of the diamonds along my band. I often found myself moving the coil adjuster back into place and it was quite annoying. This rubber coil adjuster was also turning a dull colour and making the part of the ring that it sat in look dirty. I got so tired of constantly cutting myself new rubber coil adjusters to keep my ring looking fresh so I decided to purchase this ring adjuster kit. I first tested this kit out on an artificial ring that I don’t care for, the sizing was great. I also attempted to remove the hardened gel from the artificial ring and this worked really well with the use of warm water and soaking the ring in there for approximately five minutes. Once I knew that this product was trustworthy I put it on my engagement ring and perfectly sized it to my finger. I have had my ring set for a week now and I haven’t had any problems. This is basically invisible and no one can even tell. I actually had a couple people ask me if I had my ring adjusted over the weekend. I have noticed that my ring doesn’t turn around my finger anymore and that this new adjusted portion doesn’t turn a different wonky colour either and it stays nice and clear. I highly recommend this as you can use it multiple times with your rings making sure that you can use your rings and wear them for a lifetime.
