Helpful post surgery!
Received as a gift after getting neck surgery to help with drinking water. Very helpful! Could see this as a fun addition for kids! Pros: Size is long, almost comically long for most cups. In an average plastic water bottle it was long enough to reach the bottom and secure to the side. Flexible straw could bend very easily around my hospital cords/fluids. Felt very durable. Notes: *SPILLS! The drink source must be below the part of the straw youโre drinking from. For example, I was lying on the hospital bed and my bf was bringing me the water. He was standing over me and handed me the straw mouth part, the water flowed from the bottle out the mouth spout because the bottle was above me/the straw tip and spilled all over me. Also, cleaning the whole length of the inside was difficult. We stuck to using the straw only for water to reduce the risk of sugars getting stuck inside.

A kindle reader must have.
Ok if Iโm being honest. Iโm lazy. And when Iโm cozied up in bed in a comfortable spot, the last thing I wanna do is get up to sip my water which Iโm constantly drinking (that like 20 sit ups per hour). These straws make my nightly kindle reading routine pure bliss. Iโm talking, kindle on stand, page clicker in hand, water at my beck and call. The length is long which is a plus since if you need it shorter all you need to do is a small cut. Colors are cute! And straw is super flexible and high quality! It is also easy to sip through.

Good... not great!
I first got this, and I immediately hooked it up and thought it was a good purchase. I'm disabled and even picking up a heavy cup is hard for me.So the extended straw made things easier ....until... I noticed that if the straw bent, then, it was hard to get liquid out of. If the straw laid down in any certain way after sucking on it all the liquid ran out all over you. I still use it.I just have to be careful. It's not a bad purchase, but it's not a great purchase. I will continue using it because it is easier than picking up a heavy cup.You just have to be cautious.

Complete Letdown โ Arrived Kinked, Discolored and Poorly Made
I bought these straws hoping for a convenient, hands-free way to drink from my tumbler, but they are a massive disappointment from both a quality and functionality standpoint. I cannot recommend them at all. Here is why they are getting a 1-star review: Damaged and Creased from Packaging: The straws arrived folded up and tightly crammed into the packaging. Because of this, the silicone has prominent, permanent creases and pinch points that restrict the opening. Even worse, the material is visibly stretched out and discolored at these bends (you can see the lighter, stressed silicone in the photos). It looks cheap and structurally compromised right out of the box. Misleading Colors: The colors on the product page are completely inaccurate. Instead of the vibrant, bright green and orange pictured, what actually arrived is a pale, translucent, pastel mango-orange color and lime green. They look washed out and unattractive. And they don't match the Stanley mugs. Terrible Suction (Useless for Thick Drinks): As a few other reviewers have noted, the sheer length of these straws makes it incredibly exhausting just to suck up plain water. It requires way too much lung power. If you plan on having an iced coffee, smoothie, or milkshake, forget about it - I gave up in frustration very quickly. Save your money and look elsewhere. The poor packaging ruins the structural integrity of the silicone, the colors don't match, and they are simply too much work to use.

Useful but takes getting used to
I love these straws. But they do have flaws. Most recently, Iโve misplaced the end, and Iโm using my backup now. Wish I could but the end things that hang off the cup. The cut that is supposed to allow it to hang off the top needs work. It doesnโt stay put. A second clip that allowed it to be fastened to me would help, too. The straws do come folded and dented. Run some hot water into a large pan or bowl (or your sink) and straighten it as much as possible, then let the straw sit in it for ten minutes. Move it around to try to let the kinks release. When you wash it, keep it straight. Hang it up to dry as straight as you can. Cleaning hasnโt been much of a problem for me, I drink pop and water through it. I just run hot water through it when Iโm done with it. Once in a while I let it sit in soapy water in the sink. Iโve never used the brush on the long tail. Iโve also seen comments about color matching. Some colors are very bright and donโt come close to the mug color. Matching colors can be tricky: the straw is a different material from the cup covering, and may take color differently. I just get a different color that will go with my mug, and go with that. And yes, it leaks if you knock the cup over. And the straw can act as a siphon. I just lift it up above cup level, then I can put the end down, or cap it. All those cute animal and flower caps you can buy fit the end of the straw on the cap that hangs on the side of the cup. Lift, cap it and no more siphon. Iโve found the straws to be very durable, and easy to use (with a tiny bit of science added). Iโve used it in several different places so itโs versatile , with patience. At about $5 for each set, I consider it worth the money I spent. The mug is heavy and my hands are messed up with arthritis, so this straw makes my life a lot easier! The picture, btw, is my first time using the green straw. I did the hot water thing, and youโll notice almost no kinks.

Love these
OK, so I did not really want to like these in fact when I saw what they were, I was going to return them until I started using them and saw all the many reasons why I love these straws so much they have some drawbacks, but here are some unexpected uses Sometimes I like to drink a little water in bed before I go to sleep with these straws you do not have to pick up any container. You can just use the tube and continue resting. Also, I like that when I am traveling around, I can take the whole straw and stuff it in the cup and when Iโm ready to drink again, I can just pull the straw out of the cup. That is amazing. There are also some things I donโt like about the straw, for example since it is so flexible sometimes the straw slips out or I wish that it would be sturdy so I could drink while Iโm driving for example. It has a unique breast used to clean it and that was a nice touch. I would definitely purchase these again.

Perfect for those unable to tilt the drink bottle without spilling!
Okay, this needs to be explained why it works so well. My 93yr old father can no longer hold the insulated drink cup at the angle to drink without spilling. This straw is wonderfully long so he only has to hold the cup and sip from the much longer straw! It's also long enough that you can measure how long it needs to be to go all the way to the bottom of the bottle and still give him the ability to sip without spilling. Just an awesome creation! So simple that I wish I had created it!

Meh. Too Flimsy & Messy.
I LOVE the idea of this straw. I do NOT love using it. Using the straw is not easy. Once you sip water, the excess water dribbles out unless you hold the straw straight upwards. Even with that, its still messy. The straws are too flimsy. They shouldnt be rigid, but there should be more structure to them. The cleaning tool makes cleaning the straw easy enough, but not sure how long these straws will last in the long run. I'll probably return because the quality just isnt good enough for using daily. Hopefully another company makes a better version, even if I need to spend more money.

Not very good Iโm afraid.
I bought these for my Mum to use whilst she has been in hospital but honestly, they have been a bit useless. They flop all over the place and drip liquid where they flop. You also need to be fairly strong to suck your drink up them (which she is not at the moment). None of us have ever worked out exactly how the cup attachment is supposed to work. I would not buy these again and ours have gone in the bin Iโm afraid.

Not as described
The straw itself is fine, does what you expect but I ordered a pale pink straw and a pale green one (to go with my daughters water bottle), got sent purple and turquoise which isn't even pictured as an option! Very disappointed .
