Easy Life Blue Exit, 250 ml

Blue exit works, but blue green algae has come back a few times, the first time I did a water change too soon. Since then I have followed other people’s advice i.e using a higher dose for a longer period, fish have been happy with this, also have left light off. When I next clean the filters I will do it in water which has blue exit in and the same when I top up water, to see if that will prevent the return of blue exit.

This did not appear to work at first after the suggested dose and treatment phase. I guess my outbreak was quite serious, it was everywhere. I noted that in the instructions it says you can increase the dose or use it for a prolonged period. I decided to go for the prolonged period and just kept dosing the regular amount each day for about 12 days. This approach worked. I also made sure to remove any floating algae each day too. I leave the snails in my tank as they are good for cleaning algae and I think they enjoyed the dead algae ! Whilst dosing, due I think to all the dying algae the water became very cloudy. But after about two weeks all the blue-green algae has gone and the filter has caught up so that my tank looks pristine again. So in summary; if you do it right this product does work.

Had suffered with a little blue green for awhile but when I added CO2 to the tank and stopped using liquid carbo it went wild. Dosed as per the instructions and the BGA is in retreat. Update. It has removed the blue green algae but it took 3 treatment cycles to clear it all out. Admittedly I didn’t overdose or do anything counter to the instructions.

Cyanobacteria are so irritating. I followed the instructions and my tank is now clear and it hasn't returned. I'd definitely recommend this product if you have this problem. I have a 110L tank and this was more thelan enough. I'd probably have enough for a second or even third full treatment. There is a cap for easy measuring so it was easy to use. My fish all look really healthy in their clean water now. Great value for money.

Didn't work for me. I followed the instructions to the letter, and it may have slowed the explosive growth of the cyanobacteria for a few weeks, but it failed to eliminate it, and afterwards it came back even faster and stronger! In the end, the only thing that worked was a total strip down, scrub out, and rebuild (maturing again) from scratch. There was an American product that used to work - Chemiclean, but thanks to Trump's tarrifs the price of importing that is prohibitive.

I bought this as I was developing a film of green sludge on all my plants and aquarium furniture. I tried all sorts of ways to get rid of algae, and my snails and Otto's weren't touching it. I read that it may not be algae at all, and maybe Cyanobacteria. I bought this product nore in hope than expectation. The instructions say 10 days after the last treatment (5 day treatment) the cyano would be all gone. i got to dat 8 0r 9, and nothing had chnaged, but on the 10th day, all the green had dissapaeared completely. I then did a water chage and now have a super clean tank again and can once again see my white substrate. Would recommend.

I had a severe blue green algae attack several years ago which I largely cured though ever since I have had a very minor persistent problem. I have never managed to totally erradicate it and still see it around filter outlet, on electric wires and on older plant leaves which I have to remove every couple of weeks. This is time consuming so I thought I would try this to see if it would improve what is only a minor issue. Well, for the first few days when I added the product on a daily basis there was a definate improvement. I even started to see lighter brown patches on my bogwood, suggesting that I had BGA there too and hadn't even realised! However, once the the dosage was completed, the instructions are to then leave it with no water changes for 10 days, which I did. During that time there was no further improvement. The instructions at this point are vague as they say that you can continue the doseage for 'a few more days' even up to 'double the dose'. Does this mean you can continue putting in twice the amount each day for an indeterminate number of days or does it more likely mean that you can continue putting in the same amount for up to another 5 days? I tried the latter. There was no further improvement and since I resumed normal water changes the BGA is certainly worse than it was before. It began growing on the new plant leaves not just the old ones, so most of my plants have now been killed or have had to be removed. During this period I did add a weekly dose as a preventative, as stated in the instructions. So, the fact that it worked initially suggests that it might help in the case of a severe attack of BGA, but for my milder issue it ultimately seems to have weakened my plants and allowed the BGA to take hold, making the situation worse. Accordingly I would say, use this only if you have to and all else has failed but don't use as a preventative or where you only have a minor issue.

Was at my wits end when I tried this product and it was a case of, it either works or I'm getting rid of the aquarium. Followed instructions to the letter, got to day 5 and it was vastly reduced but not completely gone so I did 3 more days with lights off the whole time and it's gone completely. But sure if it would've gone anyway without the extra 3 days but I do wonder if the lights being off helped things along. I would recommend to anyone who like me is at the end of their tether trying to control blue/green algae. Give it a go!

Hola, he visto reseñas negativas sobre este producto y puedo decir con seguridad que a los que no les a dado resultado este producto es porque alguna otra cosa les falla en el acuario. En mi acuario hasta hace 4 años tenía una plaga de algas del tipo alga roja, estáva totalmente de esperado, no avía ni una sola piedra o planta que no estáva plagada de ellas. Avía intentando con varios antialgas, tipos caseros, vamos de todo y no avía manera de eliminar las hasta que no probé este producto. Lo encontré por casualidad buscando por los foros alguna solución a mi problema, haun que sinceramente pense que será otro intento fracasado. Pues no. Es 100% efectivo, esto si, no hace efecto de hoy a mañana, el tratamiento tarda 4-8 semanas, al principio no se ve ningún efecto y uno se sigue desesperando. En mi caso después de semanas de tratamiento seguía viendo las algas hai, pero me dava cuenta que no salían nuevas y heran de color más claro, y un día metí la mano como hacía siempre para ir quitando las una en una y sorpresa, las algas estaban muertas, se dezasian en polvo por todo el acuario. Llevo ya unos 3 años que no he tenido problemas con estas algas. He dicho al principio que al que no le funciona es por algo que tiene mal en el acuario, porque la principal razón por la que aparecen las algas es por el mal mantenimiento del acuario y por mucho que echemos antialgas se irán quitando y aparecerán una y otra vez, así que hay que partir de hai, arreglar lo que no está bien en el acuario. Para que todo vaya bien obligatorio agua de osmozis, muchas plantas, mucha luz y sifonado del fondo todas las semanas.

Es a diferencia de otros antialgas , efectivo con cianobacterias, alga barba , pincel y unicelulares, en combinacion con easy-carbo u otras fuentes de carbono( excel o glutaraldehido) , no daña los plantados. (Musgos algunos sufren ) Un producto bueno, bonito y barato.

A fonctionné parfaitement pour moi dans un aquarium de cichlidés (500l) envahi de cyanobacteries
