Looks Surprisingly Real
This is a clever little product and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The rock blends in well with the landscaping around my house, and unless someone knows what they’re looking for, it doesn’t attract attention. The compartment is easy to open when you need it and holds a standard house key securely. It’s a great backup option if you ever get locked out or want to leave a key for a trusted family member. Just be thoughtful about where you place it so it blends naturally with other rocks in your yard. Overall, it’s a simple, affordable solution that provides extra peace of mind.

Great product nd price!
Bought this for my new neighbor, she loved it. Looks like a real rock. Lightweight but heavy enough not blow away. Water does not get inside of rock.

Helpful item to have!
I have a smart lock and also a keypad to unlock my door. On extremely rare occasions, the keypad fails to unlock the door. I got this to have as a backup in case of emergencies. I have someone who cleans my house, a dog sitter that I use at times, and family that sometimes need to get into my house when I am at work. If for some reason their codes don't work, I can unlock the door remotely from my phone but I'm not always available to answer right away. This hide-a-key rock is great if this happens. I haven't had any issues with water getting in it. It is easy to open and close to put the key in and to get it out. I wish the key were a lighter shade and matched the rocks that I have in my flower bed, but it works well for my purposes. I did scrub on it a bit to remove some of the black to make it a little lighter and I do like it better now, but even if that had not worked, I would still be pleased with this item. The price was also reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a way of hiding a key outside.

Use in dry environment only
The rock looks realistic enough, however the plastic key holder doesn't close up fully and leaves a small gap. Water will definitely get in. This is not water tight.
