Shark Clean & Empty Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Auto-Empty System

I have had this for a year now and can give a fair review. PROS: Excellent performance, I had a Dyson V8 pet before and this really out performed it. As I have two cats this was chosen to deal with the shedding and it handles this task like a boss. I have carpet and hard floors I have no problem as it automatically changes suction to deal with both. Very versatile and cleans well No cords to wory about and the battery life is very true to time cleaning. I get around 30 minutes full power. 40 minutes on Eco power. LED indicators lets you know how much battery you have left. You also can choose different cleaning modes on the handle area on a press of a button. Very easy to take out filters and de-asemble to clean. Really like that it has little buttons to clean the entire vacuum for good maintenance. Quick and easy. The clean and empty feature means no need to be fiddling with emptying the Vacuum manually. Its very light weight and easy to move around/ carry. Amazon sells all the required Shark filters so I got a 4 set and stocked put. So while filters are clean/ washed and drying I can use a new one without waiting. CONS: You will need to empty vacuum by sitting it on the clean and empty cradle often while cleaning as the cup will fill quickly as its small but not a problem just a thought to keep in mind if you have a large home. However thats quick just place it on the stand and it suctions out in seconds. You must have the moon lit botton off to empty the vacuum. If the moon lit botton is on that's the quiet mode setting and it will not empty vacuum it you sit it on the stand with it on. Cleaning the filters - I would say to wash these every month or so if you use the vacuum every day or 2 days like I do. I had this for 1 year and I only just cleaned all filters in the Vacuum and the dust collection bin. There are 3 fillers in the dust collection bin, 2 sponges and 1 HEPA filter. In the main vacuum there is one HEPA filter. So 4 in total. Dish liquid and a dish brush can be used to clean HEPA filters. Let them completely air dry before re-inserting them in the Vacuum. The cleaning can be around 30 minutes depends on how dirty your vacuum is. There are little buttons on the Vacuum and the empty bin to get to the filters. Its very easy to take each part apart to clean. Overall excellent product I will recommend it and will also stick with any version of the Shark clean and empty. I am extremely pleased with this product. 10/10

Love this hoover, the auto-empty feature is saving so much time it is so convenient and helps you to keep the hoover as its best as you can empty it effortless after each floor ensuring it runs at its maximum potential. The emptying of the waste tank is also super easy and does not get your messy. The noise level on eco is very quiet however if you hoover on power mode or carpet mode it can be quiet noisy however that is normal as the hoover is very powerful so it is expected. Battery on the other hand is only downside so far is the battery life it might be ok if you live in a flat but for 3 bed house it might be not enough to do the full run at once however upon further checking I have found that you can purchase additional batteries. Two batteries would be perfect so you can switch halfway through. The docking station and the hoover itself look very stylish and would fit any house well in my opinion. Docking station filters as well as hoover filters are easily removable and washable. You also get 5 years warranty from Shark so it is very solid choice and value for the price!

Really pleased with the vaccum, love that it empties itself. One little downfall, bit heavy when trying to get the cobwebs the battery life is good, performance is great, value for money as I brought it on black friday

Perfect, easy to lift. It charges in my cupboard and is always ready to use. Light to use, good for daily/weekly run around. Turns effortlessly to get in corners and awkward spots. Lifts fur from upholstery reasonably well with the attachments. Drawbacks: Suction a little lower than my old vacuum and sometimes it does not auto-empty and needs to be opened up by hand. The base unit takes a lot of dust before it needs emptying. The base unit is pretty straightforward to remove and empty. The vacuum comes with one filter in it, I would advise having a spare. They can be washed, but a spare is needed while the other one is drying.

​This Shark vacuum is amazing. It has fantastic suction, picks up pet hair with total ease, and is incredibly lightweight. The included tools are very handy, and I love that it’s always ready to go without having to worry about charging. ​One quick tip: If you ever notice the suction weakening or the battery draining faster, check all the filters in both the handheld section and the stand's dust container. Clogged filters completely impact the performance. Once I cleaned mine out, it went right back to working perfectly! Battery life is great for doing my 2 bedroom house finish with 3 bars remaining.

Best hoover I have purchased, the fact that you don't have to plug in or take off the battery and mess around charging it compared to this is an amazing bonus, as with this you just place it onto the charging dock, do note though that when you place it onto the dock it automatically empties the hoover into a larger bin which can be abit noisy, but only for about 10 seconds, however it has been a few weeks and Ive still not emptied the larger dock 'bin' as not needed to.. The hoover is so lightweight as well, literally can hoover the whole house quickly (4 bed house as well) on a charge. Obv if you are doing a deeper clean I tend to do downstairs one day and upstairs the next full battery for each. I also like the fact that with this it has the dock which doubles up as a neat stand as well as I was looking at getting a wall mount for a previous Dyson hoover I had but with this there is no need as it looks so nice and tidy.

This makes cleaning the house so much easier and regular. Light and so easy to adjust from hard floors to carpet. Picked up things my old vacuum left behind. Anti tangle technology doesn't get clogged up with pet hairs. Good for tall people feel like I don't have to bend while using it. Nice that extra battery can be purchased and charged separately so you can increase the 30-40minute run time. The devices fills up quite easily but then attaching it to the stand empties it quickly and means emptying the main bin compartment more regularly stops it getting blocked up or jammed.

Not recommend to anyone Had many SHARK HOOVERS all corded but this one is the worst one by mile We have it since March and it horrible Battery is dead in the half time what it was when new and it allows us to clean half the space we use to The suction is horible leaving most of the rubbish behind wich makes us hover longer but the battery discharge quicker and it dont allows to hoover.... and so on ... And the stand sometimes empty the compartmemt, sometimes it doesn't and we have to empty the container by hand Dont buy it for £200 you can buy £50 that's way better and save the rest
