Needed a good hard brush to really scrub the stains, after one week my teeth were cleaner as I could control the pressure, along with a good toothpaste, will continue to purchase

I love a nice hard toothbrush, this is good value, but not as firm as some of the others that I have had, it does what it is supposed to, but I've had better ones, 😏

This. Thank God for this toothbrush from Addis. It's disgusting how the dental industry has somehow managed to get hard toothbrush from the market. You can only ever find "Medium" toothbrush in the market nowadays. Mind you, these "medium" brushes are more like "soft, disgustingly soft." Just for the heck of it, I used a mouth swab + mouthwash to clean my mouth, and the feeling was the same as when I used the medium brushes: running my tongue across my teeth highlighted plaque buildup that wasn't even bothered by either medium brushes or swab. So yes, medium brushes "recommended" by dentists are on par with using a soft piece of foam to clean your mouth. With regards to this Wisdom smokers brush, I should note that this thing is extra hard. I've used hard toothbrushes all my life (ran out of a pair of Formula hard toothbrushes I got from Nigeria) and boy was I shocked by this brush. I'd recommend using my style: I use the hard smokers brush to clean my pearly whites (or yellows, whichever perspective works for you) and use a "medium" brush to clean my gum and inner cheek lining. My mouth feels squeaky clean afterwards. Please do yourself a favor and buy about 10 at once because I notice the price has more than doubled since I purchased it in August 2016 at $4.62 CAD/ brush. You won't regret it.

I've reviewed these on previous purchases & buying again. If you need or want an extra firm toothbrush these are the ones to buy. Current professionals tell us not to use firm toothbrushes as it is supposed to cause gum receding. I've used firm brushes my whole life & never had a problem so maybe you have to develop a tolerance & not just go straight into using these. Soft brushes do not get my teeth clean & cause me to get sinus infections on a root canal/crown molar. Using the firm brushes prevents this so your mileage may vary. I'm well over 70 years old & they work for me.
