This is a great dip powder kit! If you've never used dip before, please don't give this a bad rating... you just don't know how to use it Lol. I've been doing my own nails for some time and even in this rush job I did in the picture, the powder worked just fine. The colors are EXACTLY as shown. You get various shades depending on the number of dip coats you apply. Here are some tips for FIRST TIME USERS: 1. Do NOT apply step one (the base coat) to your cuticles or on the skin surrounding the nail... ONLY your nail bed! Essentially anywhere the base coat is applied, the dip powder will be too. If you want a clean look, just apply to your nail bed right below your cuticle to the tip of your nail. 2. Brush off ANY excess BEFORE applying step 3 (activator).

Would have gotten 5 stars - because the quality is excellent - but the top coat bottle was dried up when it arrived; so had to go with 4 (even though it’s probably not the sellers fault! We are in Georgia and the heat and humidity have been off the chain lately! This was so easy to apply and went on beautifully! (I’m not an expert here - but I am happy with it!) Well worth the $$$ and will purchase more from them.

Perfection, quick and easy. I didn’t buy this for a set of nails I bought it to overlay 2 nails that split all the time. I dipped them in the powder and now they’re solid. No lumps. Smooth. Very little filing.

It came out beautiful. The pics don’t do it justice but I really hated this kit as much as I loved it. I’ll start with the cons. CONS - The colors aren’t as described. I’m still trying to find a purple and the yellow is a very light and pale yellow not that beautiful marigold pictured. - The colors aren’t labelled. Extremely annoying because .... - The colors don’t look like how they go on. The one that looked a dark green was really a mint which turned a dark green but still not the dark green in the tub. The color that did look mint (glow in the dark) was actually a blue. - you do have to build the colors, especially the glow in the dark. It takes quite a few applications. - Some colors are harder to work with than others PROS - you can make it work and it turns out beautifully when it does. - beautiful fine powder that applies well - Great quality especially for the price - Good array of colors. Great for someone looking to build a collection. - you get more colors because the tubs are small which makes it great for experimenting and creativity. - Love that there are color changing and glow in the dark ones. The glow ones glow really well and the color change is beautiful. You’re either going to love it or hate it

This kit has EVERYTHING you need 😍 The colors are beautiful and very pigmented, and the instructions are super beginner-friendly. I love doing my nails at home now and saving money 💅 The results look salon-quality and last a long time. If you’re thinking about trying dip nails, this kit is perfect to start!

I have naturally brittle nails, and salon dip every two weeks was killing my budget. I switched to doing them at home with this kit. After some practice and patience, I’m impressed. The finish isn’t as crisp as a pro, but it looks good and lasts just as long on me. Application matters. Go slow and don’t rush. I do my nails at night so they can set undisturbed until morning. Be careful around the cuticles; that’s the trickiest part. One tip that gives me better control and wastes less product: I pour about half the powder into the tray but actually dip straight into the jar. I don’t use the tray for dipping itself. Value-wise, the powders are small, but for this price it’s still a deal, and each jar lasts for many uses. My one real complaint is the smell; the activator/solutions are strong. I keep the lids loosely on between steps and work in a well-ventilated area. Bottom line: if you can follow directions and take your time, this is an affordable way to get long-wear dip manicures at home.

The finish was clumpy. The product has a strong ( near toxic) smell I recommend you wear a mask when using it. I used it once, it's not as easy as they make it seem

Everything else was good, but the bottle that was meant to contain the activator was empty.. therefore making the kit unusable. Huge disappointment as I was so excited to try dipping.
