It works as it should at a great price.
This feeder has actually surprised me. My mom's been using it since the first of the year and it's still working perfectly. The feeder was easy to install. That app was easy to install. The camera images are nice and sharp. It has a speaker and a mic that works great. I can log into it anytime I want and see a live video out in front of it. I've actually used it to communicate my mom when she's in front of it. 😆 The bracket is a little flimsy but, for the price it's been great bird feeder camera or as my mom says a great spy camera.

Pretty Cool Bird Feeder Camera Combo
We were needing a new bird feeder and thought we would try this one out. Looks very nice in the backyard, I like the color combination of the green roof with the red body of the feeder itself. The camera is quite interesting and it is fun to look at the pictures afterwards. We couldn’t believe the clarity and how many pictures we could take of birds up close. You can really see the detail of the birds colors in the photos that the camera takes. It also, unexpectedly, made a backyard security camera for us. If someone walks in front. It goes off and takes either a video or a photo depending on how you set it up. It also has options to attach and feel other things besides just seeds. It has areas to put nectar cups, citrus, fruits, and other things with the attachments that come with it. Also, like that is solar powered so we don’t have to worry about batteries or recharging batteries. I would definitely recommend it.

I’m hooked on bird watching now and it’s actually fun
I love my new bird feeder. I like to watch the birds and the squirrels eat. They actually take turns eating. The food automatically pours out. It’s a white flap incase you want to close it and not have food come out. My job is to just keep the feeder full everyday. But since it’s a bird feeder it has an option for you to use The Bird Fan feature, that actually air you to know what type of bird is at the feeder eating. You just click on the bird image on the motion clip and you can read all about that type of bird. That was very kool. Now I learned that a lot of these tiny birds I’m seeing are called House Sparrows. I placed my feeder under a table because I have about 3 or more hawks flying around here. Underneath a table is best for these birds and squirrels so they can safety enjoy a meal sometimes. If a dog or cat shows up the camera will notify my phone that a pet showed up. How kool is that. This camera doesn’t just work for pets and birds either, you can also get package , people and vehicles alerts that are very detailed too. So that was a good addition. The feeder is attractive too, sometimes people don’t want just a camera outside of their home which makes it’s obviously that you’re watching everyone that passes by. With this bird feeder camera it looks like you’re just watching birds so in a way it can be discreet . Setup was very easy just install the app and follow directions from there. Also, Before you attempt to try and pry open the case holding the camera DON’T do not try to remove the camera from it, instead take your finger and push the camera downwards and open the white flap up top and you will see the on/off button, memory card slot etc. Now you can setup the camera directly from the closed case. And the back of the bird house you will see a white cord hanging out that looks like a tail you can place the cord from the Solar Panel right inside of that cord. It’s water proof that’s why it has the rubber covering on the cord. It has another white flap on the front of the bird feeder and that’s when your bird feeder is closed so no food will pour out. The chimney unscrews and that’s how you fill the feeder with bird seeds. Use a funnel if you need to. The white sphere ball is optional because some people like to buy bird food that’s in a ball shape and they eat through that or maybe it’s for stuffing bread or something in it too but you just screw it’s on the bird feeder. I believe the flower is a water bowl and the clear trays could be used as a water bowl too. I guess the clear clip looking pieces are for you to put sliced fruit on it. The green screws are for the green circular piece that screws on the bottom of the bird feeder in case you want to screw the bird feeder onto a pole. The L shaped green part is the bracket if you want to screw it onto a wooden post or tree, etc. So they have many different ways you can install it which was a genius idea. I actually have mines sitting on the ground and I placed a heavy brick inside the L shaped bracket to hold it down because I chose not to allow the hawks to see them eating but if your neighbor don’t really have hawks then hang it up higher. It looks like it will be easy to keep clean too. The camera will show images and videos crisp clear and bright. f your WiFi connection is not performing well enough for 2k a message will appear and suggest you connect to sd speed instead . I think this makes the outside of a home look extra attractive and feeding the wildlife shows that you care.

Great product for the price
Easy to install and worked just as expected. The camera quality 2k is surprisingly good day and night. It can record in the SD card or the cloud. I notice the recording in the sd has inferior quality from when streaming live. If you decide to record in the cloud it has some ai features that I didn’t test but also requires subscription. And annoys the fact that constant prompt to do the subscription, but you can just hit cancel on it. The solar charge also works fine and keep the camera always with power. I couldn’t connect to Alexa or HomeKit.

Easy set up and clear pictures!
This is an amazing little camera! It came with lots of extras to attract different birds. Highly recommend this for a person that enjoys seeing the birds that visit your backyard. Even identifies the type of bird!

Great Camera w/some advertising issues
Cons - First off I love this item. I enjoy seeing the birds up close and enjoying the bird feed. I don't have to guess at their eating schedule and trying to getting binoculars up to my eyes and focused before they leave the feeder. I can also review the birds feeding several times from the captured video. The Quality and clarity of the camera is awesome. You can hear them singing, or arguing, while they are perched on the feeder. The setup is quick and easy. It allows multiple ways for mounting, with all of the needed hardware. A Strap, to wrap around a tree or post. Swivel style mounting bracket, to mount on a fence or wall. And a pole mount bracket, to mount on a galvanized steel pole (the method I chose). I like that I can share the Live and recorded images with my family on their own devices. My granddaughter loves that she has the live viewing (or recoded views, for the birds she may have missed live) on her own iPad. Cons - The advertise (on Amazon) that the cameras can identify more than 5,000 (10,000+ in their manual) different birds. What they don't advertise (on Amazon) is that the bird recognition after the 30 day free trial requires a $5.99 a month to continue the service. This may be okay if you plan on staying locally, most of the birds in your area will have visited your bird feeder within those 30 days. However, if your home is in a path for migratory birds, or you travel with your birdfeeder to other parts of the country, that 30 day free trial is only going to give you a small percentage of the possible unknown bird species you are likely to encounter. The other thing that they advertise, is that it comes with cloud storage. Again, this service only free for 30 days. After the trial period the 30 days you will have to subscribe to their service plan for $5.99/month to continue using the cloud service. This is not that important to me, since I already have four different free cloud services that I can copy the videos that I wish to keep to one of them (who needs 60+ videos of a Cardinal) It would have been nice to know up front in the advertisement about the fact that their is a service fee required to maintain Bird recognition and Cloud Storage. Unknown - I Have a mixed review about the "Notifications". One one hand I enjoy being notified that their are birds visiting the feeder. On the other, I am getting ~35 to 40 notifications an hour that a bird, or something that something visited, flew or walked by the feeder. That's a lot of 'dings' every hour. These are work around cons. I would still recommend getting a camera birdfeeder over a non-camera birdfeeder.

Affordable and good quality bird cam
This bird camera is a great value to me. I recently ordered this because it was on sale hoping to use it in the springtime. I set it up inside the house and liked what I found! It’s essentially a smart camera that is integrated into a bird feeder design. The camera appears to be fixed focus or at least focused in the region right in front which is exactly what you would want for this use case. Initially I had trouble with getting the motion detection to work correctly and that’s when I realized that it was because I had the app open and connected to the camera. Once I closed the app, the motion detection was really good. Clips appear limited to 20 seconds and there are cloud and local storage options. I opted to provide my own microSD card and that seems to work. Just make sure you push it in enough for the spring loaded mechanism to engage. As with all battery products, I would recommend storing inside during the winter season to protect the health of the battery. Can be powered by battery alone, USB-C powered, or via solar panel. Since its wintertime right now, I couldn’t test it outside but I am hopeful that it will perform flawlessly while outside. I have a WiFi access point close to where it will be located outside so I’m looking forward to lots of clips of my local avian population (and hopefully not squirrels)! Hope this review helped! Oh and there is a sleep functionality to help save battery power. You can schedule it to go to sleep at night to save power for when it counts. I haven’t tried this along with other features mentioned in the manual, but just wanted to mention it in case people are wondering how to extend battery life.

Never miss a bird again!
Charming bird feeder with some high tech features that make it a huge improvement over my old feeder! Setup was easy and very fast. The instruction booklet had all the info I needed to get this bird feeder going within a couple minutes. I found it pretty easy to connect to my phone and the camera quality is pretty nice! I'll update my review once I have some birds to show! Let's talk about the design. It's shaped like a house, and the roof hinges to allow you to put bird seed in the top. Not only that but it comes with a host of other attachments for gels, fruits, nectar, and more. So whatever your birds enjoy, this feeder comes with the attachments to allow you to feed them. The clear plastic separates the seed from the birds to offer some squirrel protection. That way you never miss out on your birds--and you can say goodbye to your old feeder like I did! The guide says the supplier offers lifetime technical support, which is great. The included solar panel makes me feel comfortable using this because it's not using up batteries and I don't have to connect it to my house power, which would be such a hassle. The bird identification tool, powered by AI, is also so cool. I'm always wondering what birds are coming to my feeder and learning to identify them with the help of their app will be fun. Overall I'm really pleased with this feeder. Now I just need some birds to come and check it out! I'd say this is a must have for bird enthusiasts. It would make a great gift for yourself or a loved one!
