Great entry-level rain jacket.
Worn it several times when working outdoors around wood, and have yet to see any tears/pulls. Washed it several times and haven't noticed a sharp decline in water resistance either. The ventilation under the arms is great, but I wish there was some at the top of your back as well.

Great Jacket For Ireland Golf Trip
I’ve had the Outdoor Research Stratoburst Stretch Rain Jacket for a few weeks now, and I’ve been really impressed with its performance. As someone who enjoys outdoor activities, used it for a golf trip it’s essential for me to have gear that can keep up in unpredictable weather. This jacket does just that — and more! Pros: Waterproof and Breathable: I’ve worn this jacket in some heavy rain, and it kept me dry without making me feel like I was suffocating. The waterproofing works great, and I don’t feel overly sweaty after wearing it for a while. Stretchy & Comfortable Fit: One of the biggest selling points for me was how comfortable it is. The stretchy material moves with you, so it’s perfect for hiking, biking, or any activity that requires mobility. The jacket never feels restrictive. Lightweight and Packable: This jacket is super light, which makes it easy to pack for trips without taking up too much space. You can easily stuff it into your backpack when you're not using it. Durable Construction: The jacket feels well-made, and I haven’t noticed any signs of wear even after a few trips through rough weather. Cons: Price: While I think it’s a great jacket, it is a bit pricey. That said, you’re definitely paying for quality, and I think it’s worth the investment for serious outdoor enthusiasts. Overall, I highly recommend the Stratoburst Stretch Rain Jacket for anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile jacket that can stand up to the elements while keeping you comfortable. Whether you're tackling a mountain trail or just need something reliable for a rainy day, this jacket has you covered. This review highlights the features while also balancing the pros and cons to make it more realistic. Make sure to leave an honest review based on your actual experience!

Lightweight and effective
Very light weight that packs small. Waterproof with mild to heavy rainfall. I was able to pack this raincoat in a small pocket in my backpack to roughly the size of an 5x8 inch notebook.

LOVE the Jacket
Used it on a Scotland Highland walk, about 100 miles in cold and rain. Very happy how it fit and worked. Highly recommend.

Very nice
This was my first “nice” rain jacket. I’ve worn it in the rain twice and the water beaded up and rolled off no problem. The fact it can be folded up and stored in its own pocket is very nifty. Their website says it’s one of their stretchiest jackets but honestly I was expecting more stretch. The material gives a little but I wish it was stretchier. I suppose I’m used to the stretch on most activewear. It does however block the wind so it may also work as a lightweight shell when it gets cold as long as you wear a base layer. Overall I’m happy and may buy some more from OR.

Sizing runs tight in the chest
Very nice rain jacket. Pros: stylish, very well made (seams, stitch work, material), does not appear coated with pvc that always peels off. Cons: tight around the chest. I measure 41” at the chest and a large is noticeably tight when I raise an arm. I kept it as decent light rain jackets are tough to find.
