Im not a professional maker but im a professional to my family and even though this looks cheap and yes its made out of plastic its all a good thick durability. The tips could be just a tiny bit thicker but they are not flimsy . They just could be better quality . Everything works as should. I mainly really needed a turntable since I had been using the microwave plate as my turn table for years I finally treated myself and got one. It turns smooth and beautifully and I have had zero issues out of anything thus far. Even the egg separator works and I hate those dang things cause they usually suck and I just use the shells. Well for the sake of this review I used it and im happy to report it did work. I would encourage you to buy this and if you ever get hung up on a tip you can Google lense the tip shape and it will tell you what that tip makes. Theres also a booklet that it comes with that will tell you too!

About the quality you can expect for getting so much for just $24. Still, I'm impressed! Great kit for a beginner like myself or for kids. I got the green 158 pc set. The piping tips have seams on them, the disposable piping bags are light duty, the silicone ones are fairly thin and like the tips have seams. The Russian tips do not have seams. The grass tip and bismark nozzle appear to be higher quality than the other piping tips, or at least made differently. Tips K 13, 14, 21, 25, 35, 38, 42, 45, 57 are not advertised but are mentioned in the manual. The manual also mentions tips T 1-8, 18, 27, 28, and 38, though these were not advertised nor included in the kit. Including the 8 Russian tips there are in fact a total of 64 piping tips as advertised. I got a little sussed out when I was sorting them by number and there were so many gaps but I'm satisfied that all that were advertised are present. Their numbering system isn't very intuitive — there are no tips T63-65 (the numbers for T tips stop at 68); they don't seem to be numbered by size or shape so idk what the system is tbh it seems pretty random. Some of the tips are a bit bent out of shape. The petal tips are some of the ones I was most looking forward to and they don't have as much of a point at the narrow end as they should. The measuring spoons have raised measurement markings instead of printed and I like that! The printed markings always seem to rub off. The offset spatula is about 4 inches, quite small. The cake combs and flower nails are also very small. The turn table spins well though it wobbles just the tiniest bit. Everything appears to be the same color. I saw a couple reviews complaining that the cake leveler was broken but considering it's a completely different shape from what is advertised I think you just have to bend into shape after selecting the height you want the wire to be at. But what do I know? Lol I've never used one. The little scissor thingies come apart which is cool. That will make them easier to clean for sure. The little squeezy writing syringe has spots on it for a comfortable grip while writing. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase :)

So many fun little gadgets and pieces in a more than fair priced kit! The Russian tips alone are worth it and I love my pink turntable.

Pretty decent quality set. Came stand is a little choppy when you spin it which can mess you up a little if doing any intricate frosting. Comes with a huge variety of different attachments and pieces and is easy to get lots of uses out of.

I think this is a great set for beginners. It gives people an entryway without breaking the bank. It has everything a beginner baker needs. Sure, the turntable is pretty cheap, but its solid and level so it'll do what you need it to do. It may be all you ever need. That is the beauty of this set. It allows a person to get going at a lower price point to discover their own path. I really have no negatives to say about this set. It's a fair prices that allows a person to get going on their baking artistry journey. If you find it's not something you're into as much as you thought you'd be than you're not out a lot of money. If however you discover your inner passion and want to expand than you can certainly spend more on better products. The main thing is to get in there and start decorating. This kit allows just that. Highly recommended.
