Superb mouse to go with my SUPERB Elite keyboard
Last week i managed to snap up the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, for only £62.50 on a day only deal within the black Friday 2 week deals(ruddy bargain!) on Amazon, so i also needed a new mouse so ordered the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB Gaming Mouse for £29.99 aswell. Luckily for me the lead from the keyboard just went to the back of where my PC is situated, and even more luckily for me the Elite keyboard comes with a USB pass through so i was able to plug the mouse into that!, with everything working AOK, phew!. I had a play around with the mouse settings that is quit easy to suss out but i wanted to change the colour to match my PC set up colour(anal i know lol). After going to the HyperX site it forced me to download the HyperX NGenuity app from the Web store ?. Anyway i did that but discovered that this app needs to open ALL the time for the chosen settings to work(there is no way for the app to let you save the settings on the mouses memory ?). Anyway part 2 - I then went back to the HyperX site to get the HyperX NGenuity exe program for my Elite keyboard and to my de-lite i noticed i can change all the colours/settings for the mouse in there as well. So i got red of the stupid "app" version and just used the exe one. For the keyboard and mouse i can now set the 3 option types to my liking and they both save the info in its own memory!. As you can see by the 2 pics i have one for showing off the colour wave light show, and the other purple and green to match my PC RGB when looking through the glass side window. Love the button on the top to change the DPI speed right away and also holding the same button plus a click of the wheel or the side buttons to change the saved RGB combo/brightness(after setting them up with NGenuity before of coarse). I am waiting for a big mouse matt but it glides so smooth on the desk top and the pointer on the screen is so precise with the movement(even at the top DPI 3200, amazing) A easy 5 STARS, frikken AWESOME!

Mouse button 'play/movement' makes mouse unusable.
I've contacted HyperX and so far they are saying it is normal. I had an old Razer Lachesis mouse for around 8-9 years before this mouse and never had any issue or play like this. I bought this mouse as it was recommended by a friend. Plus it's pretty damn cool! For me I cannot use this mouse for shooter games at all, browsing the web yea, it's fine. To me it's performing like a bog standard Microsoft mouse from back in the day of the first lasers. I've now sent this video to HyperX and await their response. I put value for money 1/5 as this is what I'd consider a premium mouse and if it is in fact meant to be this way, I would consider the value poor as I need a new mouse, this is not playable for me. Once I hear back from HyperX I'll change this review if need be, until then I will leave it as is. -------- Great response from HyperX, mouse was replaced and is working perfectly.

good mouse for small hands
I've had this mouse for a few months now. - it works well on my soft cloth mousemat - RBG looks good - I have small hands and this mouse is very comfortable for me to use - feels solid, though it is relatively light if you've used weighted mice in the past - scroll wheel does not skip - good DPI switch options all in all this is a very good mouse for every day use and casual gaming.

Software was broken, mouse is good, great customer service.
The build quality of the mice is nice and doesn't feel cheap. But I have encountered several problems with the software. First of all: if I click on the "mouse" button to open the settings the sensor will stop working completly. The buttons will still work but I can't move the cursor. I have contacted HyperX about this and they asked me for more information. I provided them with it and after 2 days they gave me instructions to and now my mouse works perfectly again. Great customer service.

Great performance and lighting!
This mouse has solid build quality and is comfortable to hold. It's very responsive due to the pixart 3389 sensor, and at 100g weight it's neither too light or heavy. The DPI, polling rate, button assignments and lighting can all be controlled via the hyperx ngenuity software which I personally had no issues setting up. The lighting is a particular highlight for me, it's bright, uniform and has plenty of customisation options. I bought it on sale for £36, well worth it!

Excellent mouse at an excellent price
After using Razer for quite a while I decided to jump ship and try hyperx out and boy I'm glad I did. The RGB is a lot nicer than the razer mouse I used previously and seems a lot better built. Using the mouse is a joy to, it glides across my mousepad with no tracking issues and the ability to change my dpi with a click of a button is great as it means I don't have to do it manually within the software.

Great mouse, maybe a bit expensive
This is a good looking, accurate mouse with a nice weight and feels comfortable in the hand, although I guess I have kind if big hands so your mileage may vary on that point. The RGB is nice and paired with my hyperX keyboard it just brings my desktop together. The only thing I would say is try and get it on sale, it's a little expensive at full price but justifiable.

Brilliant Mouse
After 3 years of owning this mouse and using it 8 hours+ every day, I had to buy another because the scroll wheel became loose and a little erratic. I can't complain - it's been brilliant and I suppose it's general wear and tear. I bought another identical one because I like it so much, the latest one is a slightly newer revision of the device so maybe that issue won't reoccur. I'm not a big fan of the ngenuity software though, so I try not to use it, but I'm not really gaming with it so I haven't been bothered about doing anything fancy like changing the colour of the mouse depending on ammo/health which is a thing I *think* the software will do, but do you own research

Very underrated mouse!
What can I say other than this is a fantastic mouse. I was a little skeptical about it because of the price, but once I tried it out I knew this is underrated and a great value. First, this mouse is beautiful and the clicks are satisfying. The Omron switches definitely help with that. Its fairly lightweight if your looking for a pure fps type mouse. Most mice with this type of sensor are going to cost much more, let alone the beauty of it helps with that value. The braided cable is solid so far and has not been in my way at all. I have large hands and sometimes I really have to be picky. This mouse is just large enough to be comfy without being too small. I enjoy the full grip of a g602, but this one is not as wide with a nice contour to it and I have no issues here. I have been playing games like Deadside and enjoying that sensor immensely. Its a fantastic buy if you can get it for under fifty bucks and at MSRP, its still worth it. I do not use this as a daily driver, I use this as a more situational mouse for fps, but it could double for anything you want. The side buttons have a fantastic feel and the scroll button has a nice feel also. My only real gripe is the software, but since Ngenuity is in beta, this is forgivable as I am a big fan of Kingston and HyperX in general. I have faith that it will improve over time. Ngenuity has not given me any real problems and has been fairly straight forward. For once with HyperX, I feel that the build quality may not hold up forever, but I would love to see this mouse in a lightweight semi-hollow honeycomb frame, then it would have to be up there with some of the best mice available. Keep'em coming HyperX!

Beautiful & Deadly
I got this mouse in Big Billion sale for 2800. Wasn't sure about the quality and the feedback of the mouse after watching so many reviews. There was a manufacturing defect for this product where the Left and Right click buttons would press against each other. HyperX updated the stocks and fortunately I got the very latest version without the hardware issue (Aug 2018 imported). My first look at the mouse is WOW, it's a piece of art, so beautiful. I am a mid sized guy so this fits perfect in my palm. RGB lightning is too good and the mouse offers a hardware button to cycle through LED effects which is great, I don't like going thru softwares every time. Tried this on macbook no drivers are needed, just plug n play and the LED effects button was also working fine on MacBook. Yet to try playing some FPS games with this mouse. So my final verdict, for 6k it might not be worth there better ones from Logitech and Razer. But at the deal price this is as good as it gets. If you find this under 3500 just buy it without any second thoughts. The only con, tactile buttons at thumb slot are placed at the left side centre, I prefer those in the side front part which would be easier for faster clicks. Anyway not at all a problem, I can get used to it.
