Must have to get the full experience. Movies with bad audio suck.
I have had this product for about 2 months. I purchased it for my QN90D Series Neo QLED 4K Mini LED Smart Tizen TV (2024). Here is what I think. Ease of set up - Very easy, just follow the instructions, and follow the prompts on your TV menu. Remember, there are two ways of listening to your speaker on a SAMSUNG TV. One is through the speakers only, and the other if a combination setup were the speakers will work in conjunction with the speakers on your TV (best set up for optimum sound) Quality - Built well with no damage or cheaply made attachments. SOUND - I love it. I have it set to working with my TV speakers simultaneously. Full sound, good subwoofer and fills my room with movie quality sound. Overall - I have had ZERO problems with the speakers. They are used continually. Very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these speakers particularly if you have a compatible Samsung TV which allows you to use both the TV speakers and the Soundbar at the same time. Nevertheless, it works very well even if your older Samsung TV does not have HDMI eARC and does not have the ability to use TV speakers in conjunction with your sound bar simultaneously.

This is a review for the HW-Q600C
Beware--most of the reviews here are NOT for the HW-Q600C. This one is. I have a 55" Samsung Frame TV in a room that is approximately 14x14. The HW-Q600C is the perfect soundbar for this configuration. I have the soundbar connected to the TV via an HDMI cable into the eARC jack on the soundbar. This gives better sound reproduction than using a digital optical connection. Setup was very easy. The remote that came with the TV controls the sound, with the exception of the subwoofer volume. I've tried a variety of media, including movies, sports (football and basketball) and TV shows, with both dialogue-forward and sound effect-forward content. This soundbar delivers the goods in all situations. The sound mode (standard, surround, etc.) and equalization settings are easy to change, so you can tailor the sound to your preference or to room acoustics. It also handles Dolby Atmos signals. You can add wireless rear speakers to this system (which already comes with a wireless subwoofer, which works well; I scared the hell out of my dog when I cranked the sound), but since it's a 3.1 system (that center channel in the soundbar really seems to help with voice clarity), you won't get discrete rear channels. Instead, it's a mixed signal being sent to the rears. I don't need rear channels, but if you want a true home theater experience, you might want a more expensive 5.1 soundbar. All in all, I highly recommend this mid-priced offering from Samsung. If you own a Samsung TV, it's a no brainer.

Great for Movies, Even Better for Music
The Q60B soundbar provided a significant, immediate improvement to my Samsung TV. It integrates well and was a snap to set up. Samsung put some engineering thought into how the two should sound together. Q-Symphony (only available on newer Samsung TVs) integrates the two products and sounds better than the soundbar by itself. It makes dialog much clearer. Try it on a blockbuster movie - the woofer really makes the dynamic range impressive. The soundbar is superb for music as well. You can stream Spotify, etc. directly via Bluetooth from your phone but once again — Q-Symphony sounds significantly better than the soundbar alone. Smoother, dramatic highs, wider soundstage. I’m guessing that it has something to do with the Dolby/DTS processing, not just the extra two speakers on the corners of the Samsung TV. But the benefits disappear when you turn off the TV and listen to the soundbar alone (e.g., streaming directly to the Q60B over bluetooth). Set-Up Notes: 1) It takes a little tweaking to get the optimum performance. The subwoofer was too boomy out of the box. I decreased bass -3 and increased treble +2. 2) I tried all the surround modes repeatedly and “Surround Sound” was the best. The other modes pull everything into a narrow sound stage. 3) If you get lost during set up - find a YouTube video. The Owners manual is useless.

Great sound and decent bass.
Q600C sound bar with subwoofer is good enough for my mom's Samsung TV. When setting up the sound system, the subwoofer had automatically connected to the sound bar through Bluetooth before I installed the batteries into the remote. The provided HDMI cable was inserted into the TV eARC HDMI port. Within a few minutes, sound system was set up and operational. I showed her how to use it, change the audio settings, and adjust the subwoofer volume. Her Roku Ultra is connected directly into the sound bar and her Blue-ray player and antenna NextGen tuner box is connected into the HDMI ports on the TV. Her TV remote can control system volume, mute, and power to the sound bar through the TV now. Before the upgrade, she had to use a separate remote to control an old wired sound system. She previously had an antiquated Sanyo 5 speaker sound system with 4 wired speakers and a wireless rear speaker. It was all controlled by a DVD head unit. In a large 6'x6' wide entertainment center, all the wires could be hidden. She has since downsized to a cabinet with TV mounted to the wall. The new Samsung setup has less cables and looks much better and cleaner. The tiny subwoofer of the Samsung is much lighter and smaller than the wired subwoofer that came with the Sanyo. New sound system does not generate as much bass as the old antiquated system but it is nice to have a wireless subwoofer. The remote is okay but feels slightly cheap. Good thing she can use TV remote for volume and mute. I was hoping to upgrade her sound bar with Samsung rear speakers. I failed to do further research before purchasing this unit for her. I thought that the more expensive 9500S rear speakers would be compatible with the Q600C and was going to suggest she purchase these for her sound system. After reading a few reviews for these speakers and reading the product description, I discovered that the more expensive speakers are not compatible. The 9200S speakers are what is compatible with her unit. To my disappointment, reviewers complained about the volume not being loud enough and the second rear speaker needing to be connected to the main wireless speaker via speaker wire. I have discouraged her from purchasing the cheaper speakers for now. I know she would not be happy with them because she wanted the rear speakers to be about 10 feet away from the couch like her wireless Sanyo speaker. Over all, Samsung sound bar and subwoofer provides quality sound for her TV viewing experience for a decent price. At the time of purchase, this unit was priced new on here for $227. It was new as in everything was sealed with nothing appearing to have been used. I would not pay more than $350 for it. Wait until it goes on sale for under $400.

What do Leto II's Fish Speakers think?
I like it! Takes an app which you might already have with your Samsung TV but easy setup. If you watch Dune Part One (or Two for that matter) your family will definitely ask you to turn down the volume. You know how Part One opens with a Sardaukar priest's guttural voice conveying the idea that they have a grim spirituality and philosophical depth, they're not just brutal warriors? This sounds soooo good on these speakers. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. In Part Two, when it gets quiet after Paul's fight with Feyd-Rautha you can just barely hear ocean waves in the background. This is something I missed in theaters and blew me away when I heard this on these speakers. It shows Dennis's true love of the source material. The idea that Arrakis will one day become a watery paradise (to some) is closer to becoming reality now that Paul has ascended to the thrown. Of course, Arrakis's transformation is not by Paul's hand, but he sets the whole thing in motion. Anyway, the sound quality is great. One thing I didn't consider beforehand was whether it would fit underneath my Samsung TV without blocking the screen. But it fits perfectly in front of the legs of the TV. Not a single complaint about these speakers. They also blend in without being a distraction.

Highly disappointing, terrible sound quality, and awful setup
Highly disappointed. Have used Yamaha soundbars for awhile now, and never had any issues and had good sound quality. We have a Samsung TV and figured it would be an easy integration and had heard good things about their soundbars. Trying to sync to the TV was absolutely crazy. Took me hours of troubleshooting, swapping cables, going between HDMI and optical audio cables to try and get it to work. When I finally got it to work, the soundbar sounded TERRIBLE. The subwoofer is small and extremely weak, the speakers sounded tinny, and the whole experience was BAD. Gave it two days to play around with the settings to try and get it close. I got to a point where it just sounded less bad. Decided to just pull the trigger on the return, it just was not worth it. Went back to the Yamaha, and was set up and sounding great in less than 15 minutes.

Most soundbar arent worth it alone, this is just right!
I dont want something that’s going to add alot of extra baggage to my home theater area. I’ve tried alot of standalone soundbars and for the most part I found them to be pushing themselves beyond their capability. Both the S60D and Sonos Beam 2 will leave you a little disappointed with the way they deal with bass. S60D overdrives very badly. Very distorted and distracting. Sonos Beam did a better job but compressed everything when things got bassy taking alot of the pop and excitement out of the highs. The Sonos Arc was pretty good all around but its overpriced. Its better to have a dedicated subwoofer. I also like that this combines with the built-in TV speakers if you have Samsung TV which I do. Overall, this is a good value. The surround effect is inifinitely better than the TV speakers and I have no concerns about getting decent bass anymore. I also placed the subwoofer behind my seat to get an extra surround effect. This is a good deal for $350!
