This webcam delivers sharp 4K video with its 1/2” sensor, and the HDR really helps in mixed lighting. The image quality looks clear, natural, and detailed, even in lower light. Link Controller software gives you plenty of options to fine-tune your setup, and Privacy Mode is a nice touch for peace of mind. Works smoothly with Zoom, Teams, Twitch, and pretty much all major platforms. A great choice if you want a high-quality webcam with strong AI features and clean, professional video.

It started with a home office makeover. I had some wooden panelling put in behind the office desk that had some integrated lighting stripes built in. In person it looks great but over my old logitech stream cam on calls I looked like I was haloed in a white aura. Good if I was going for a sort of techno-messiah look, but not great if I wanted to look like an actual human with a normal skin tone. So after some research on the web into cameras that gave a more realistic lighting profile and real skin tones I kept seeing positive things for this and it's predecessor. It was expensive but I couldn't do much with the camera I had so I took the risk. Before plugging it in I thought how much difference can it make? Turns out a lot! The quality of my video on my M3 pro work macbook was amazing, the room and me were suddenly rendered and lit on video pretty much as the room looks in real life. The lighting strips behind me were no longer too bright, I'd lost my halo and I looked human skin tone wise. Detail improved too more than I expected and it even now handles close objects held up to it well like printed text. The tracking gimble is responsive and even frames me if I walk across the room. It can get confused if I rush to get the door and leave the room but it's easy to correct when I return. The software is easy to use and firmware updated when I plugged it in for the first time without issues. The camera is well made and the monitor grip is much more substantial than my older logitech camera stand. The usb-c cable it comes with is a little short but since it detaches you can just use your own longer one. It is really nice that when it's not in use it automatically pivots downwards so that it is no longer pointing in your direction. It's an expensive bit of kit but I really recommend it if you want a better quality of picture even in challenging lighting conditions.

I bought the Insta360 Link 2 to replace a conventional webcam that struggled with lighting and framing in a mixed home office setup. Setup was genuinely plug and play on my system, and the Link Controller software gives granular control without feeling bloated. In day to day use the AI tracking is the standout feature. The camera follows movement smoothly and keeps framing consistent during calls and presentations, which is invaluable if you do not sit perfectly still. Autofocus is fast, background separation looks natural, and the built in microphone handles voice clarity well for a webcam. The main compromises are price and system load, as some AI features can be demanding on older CPUs. Even so, for professional video calls, streaming, or content creation, it delivers a level of polish that justifies the cost.

The Insta360 Link 2 is absolutely brilliant. The video quality is exceptional, with crisp 4K resolution and accurate colour reproduction, even in low light. The built-in AI noise-cancelling microphone captures my voice clearly while effectively reducing background noise, which is ideal for video calls and streaming. Setup was straightforward, and the webcam works flawlessly with Zoom, Teams and OBS. The gesture controls are a clever feature and respond accurately. Overall, this is a high-quality webcam and well worth the investment for anyone seeking professional-level video and audio performance.

Excellent image quality, good sound. The tracking feature works well but thats about as much as I can tell you. Really wish I had paid more attention to the recommended processors, I'm still on a slightly older generation i7 and the cpu load is insane if you want to use any of the digital backgrounds and AI supported features. Will need to come back to review further when I upgrade my PC.

I’ve been using the first-generation Link webcam for a while, so I was curious whether this setup would actually feel like a real upgrade. After using it for a couple of weeks in our meetings, I’d say the biggest difference is how much better it works when more than one person is in the room. The video quality is still excellent and looks very natural in normal office lighting, but pairing the camera with the Wave speakerphone makes the whole setup much more practical for team calls. We usually have three to four people sitting around the table, and the speaker tracking does a good job shifting focus to whoever is talking. Remote teammates mentioned that meetings feel more natural compared to when we were using a regular wide-angle webcam. Setup was also straightforward. We plugged it into a PC in our meeting room and it worked with Teams right away without needing to configure much. It’s not perfect though. When two people start talking at the same time, the camera sometimes takes a second to decide where to focus. It’s not a big issue, but you’ll notice it occasionally during lively discussions. Overall though, if you already liked the original Link but want something that works better for small team meetings or hybrid calls, this feels like a meaningful upgrade.

Instead of leaving the camera on one wide shot the whole time, it shifts toward whoever is speaking, which makes the conversation feel a lot more natural for remote participants. The video looks clear and realistic, and the audio pickup has been reliable even when people are sitting farther from the table. one feature I didn’t expect to use as much as I do is the AI side. Having the meeting recorded and then being able to go back to the transcript and summary has been genuinely useful, especially for internal check-ins and project discussions where action items come up quickly. It’s helped us double-check what was decided and makes follow-up easier when someone misses part of the meeting or joins late. Setup was straightforward. We connected it to a PC in the room and it worked with Teams right away without much effort. It’s not perfect — if two people start talking at the same time, the camera can hesitate for a moment, and I still wouldn’t rely on the AI summary alone for every single detail — but overall it’s been a very practical solution for small team meetings.

Will say that I returned this to get the pro, though other than not wanting to return it to switch back I cant see why anyone would want to go for the pro over this especially if you are trying to be conscious of budget. There are no noticeable benefits to the pro over this which is already a fantastic webcam. Even the mic isnt bad especially for a webcam mic.

Great low light performance. The stand works great and the ai tracking software followed well.

It is great cam if you are streaming or recording content, but i got it for my zoom meeting but it didn't help me with the quality

Muito satisfeito com a webcam. A imagem tem excelente qualidade. Poderia fazer 4K 60fps mas para reuniões sera overkill. O sistema de seguimento funciona perfeito. A focagem é muito rápida. O software é muito simples de usar. Tem updates regulares que vão aumentando as funcionalidades.

Lo so, non è un prodotto economico, ma deve essere pensato per un mercato di nicchia. Ha una qualità video incredibile, anche con pochissima luce, facilissima da installare si su mac che su win, audio spettacolare e dotata di innumerevoli personalizzazioni e funzioni di ogni sorta. E' sicuramente un prodotto unico nel suo genere, pensato per i professionisti e per chi utilizza spesso le webcam (anche i gamer o chi fa dirette streaming). Per chi la usa in ambito lavorativo ha un must in più, ovvero la possibilità non solo di seguire il soggetto o i soggetti, ma di inquadrare lavagne, appunti o qualsiasi cosa si voglia proiettare in quel momento. Tutto questo è possibile tramite l'intelligenza artificiale. Personalmente sono davvero super contento dell'acquisto, dopo essere passato per svariati prodotti di aziende concorrenti, prodotti non meno costosi, finalmente ho trovato qualcosa che fa davvero la differenza e che garantisce qualità, facilità d'uso e, cosa per me fondamentale, piena compatibilità sia Mac che Win. Assolutamente consigliato.
