Great Story, BUT the Last 7 Panels Make This A MUST READ
A great story and retelling of Superman's debut in Metropolis, but all that (for me) was dwarfed by the last 7 or so Panels of the story. It emotionally answered a question that I had no idea I needed to have answered. I am unashamed to say it brought tears to my eyes. Enjoy.

Superman!!! It’s a great book, but my spine came slightly damaged. Doesn’t bother me though!

The best starting comic for Superman ever!
Perfect starting point for new Superman readers and an incredible read overall. It shows Clark Kent’s journey to becoming Superman and eventually gaining the world’s trust. It’s slightly low quality and can be difficult to read at times due to the small format but for the price I really can’t complain much. Amazing book, highly recommend

One of the best definitive origins of Superman. Kind of mixes the the comics and Smallville together.

A fresh view on an old story
Mark Waid is one of my favorite comic writers. He make his characters feel real with flaws and fears. At the same time shows the best qualities of humanity in them. This is a good example of his ability to do so and even If it is no the best one I read from him, I still recommend it to any comic fan that enjoys a good story.

Great origin story
A great introduction to Clark Kent and how he came to be Superman and what motivated him. You see his journalistic work and how that inspires him to help others and not hide himself anymore. You also see his struggles trying to make Superman and Clark distinct. Great art, the compact is good and it came in good condition on time.

Great Comic book, great price, very enjoyable
Received this book, have not read it yet, but I'm extremely happy to have this story in my collection in a DC Compact Comics version, I was wary of small size compact comics because I love traditional size comics, truth is it takes a bit to get used to, but I now have 4 books and am going to order others for my collection 🤓

LARGER than Manga Paperback, EQUAL size of Manga Hardcover.
THIS IS BIGGER than a Regular Manga trust me. It's also heavier. 🩵 There wasn't any Bubble wrap, should've been. But still The packaging was good. No dents, no creases, the product was Beautiful. The paper quality was thinner & colours doesn't pop like Laser printed magazine paper, which is used in Regular sized DC Comics. But still, the paper is DECENT. The FONT size is Good & readable. Amazing Product, LOVED IT!!!!
