Pretty unbeatable for the price
Great value for money !! I just set this up and of course I know it’s never gonna be a £4000 picture quality tv but it is strange as you have to manually switch on the ai picture engine and most visual tweaks. I thought when I first switched it on the picture quality was good but after tweaking all the features (there are a lot) the image quality now is absolutely superb. Particularly Dolby Vision, HDR , refresh rate. Sound is actually great for what it is with Dolby Atmos etc but if you wanna up the quality I’d advise getting a surround sound system to go with the tv. The Hisense OS is easy to navigate, it’s got loads going on for all your apps . IMAX content (where you can find it) is amazing . I found setting the TV up again is easy apart from the stand - the instructions are very hard to navigate. If you use the Apple Ecosystem then airplay is covered is well. The remote control does not take batteries, only usb-c charging or solar, but I’m cool with that it’s hardly a dealbreaker. All in all you can’t get better for the price. I usually buy Samsung TV’s but I wanted to give a cheaper brand a shot. No regrets on that front. If you don’t care about having a premium name on a tv I’d recommend HISENSE 100% but I can’t speak for everyone. I took out 3 year’s insurance as well, I wasn’t in when the tv was delivered but my wife took it, it did say that setting up the tv was included but this didn’t happen - they just left it in the hall which was a bit weird but in the end I don’t really care but if the insurance provides the free installation we did not get it.

Great tv for a great price!
I'm not an expert on types of tv. I saw this on Amazon then went to Curry's to check them out. Hisense tvs are far cheaper than their rivals but with similar specs. For a similar one in a Sony Bravia it was 1.5k. When it came the hardest thing in setting it up was getting it out of the box! It was easy to get it working though. U may have to jiggle with settings to get the right picture a sound. When I watched a series in UHD I was amazed! The picture was unbelievably clear! HD channels are great too. For me I thought the sound is ace. Apparently it has 2 subwoofers, whatever they are? But compared to my old Sony Bravia it blows it out of the water! The only thing that slightly let's it down is if u view it from an acute angle, the picture gets a bit paler. Experts on TVs may find things wrong with it but I think it's great! Proper good value for money!

Worthy of 5 Stars? Possibly to some but I don't think so but it's a decent TV regardless.
Hisense 65" Mini-LED Smart TV 65U7NQTUK: ** Be sure you're understanding this is the MINI-LED version and NOT the Q-LED version of this TV ** Had it out of the box for 2 weeks, though bought it back in early July 2025. I'm not a Game player so if you're expecting anything here for review on games, this isn't the review for you this is just a general quick, early out of the box and basic overview. Pros: ==== Decent picture (I have a 48" Sony OLED and 77" LG OLED and of course the pictures/video far better) Very very good 4K using Amazon Prime, Netflix and You Tube 4k videos. Lots of features to play about with picture quality and Sounds (the 7 Band EQ is a neat feature) ** Weirdly, standard picture selected, for me, seems to be the best option, where I usually select Dynamic on my other TV's in the house ** - Gives a nice overall picture. When you use 4K/UHD movies/Programmes, it automatically selects Dolby Vision IQ, I sound Dolby Vision IQ Custom the better of the 3 Dolby Vision settings on offer. Freely, is a nice option to have though NOT all Freeview channels are available with Freely (so be aware of this) Good out of the box App features, all the Netflix, ITV, Channel 4 players and more are on there. Nice remote, I have the Solar powered one and option to charge via USB-C. Does have a backlight on the remote numbered buttons and not that bright (My Sony OLED totally lights up when you pick it up, a shame others do not do this when in a dark lit room when watching movies/TV) Cons: ==== Panel seems to have backlit bleed issues from out the box, for me nothing major but it's definitely noticeable. Slow to move through channel/App selections, could be more quicker. Remote has a mind of it's own without any warning and this for me was going to be a deal breaker but this morning (6th Aug 2025) spoke with Hisense support and they knew what the issue is, due to the TV doing it's updates once set up, it is an issue with the Bluetooth pairing from Remote to TV. Just hold down the 3 horizontal lines button on the remote for 7 seconds, top of screen, you should see Bluetooth unpair let go, press the 3 horizontal lines button on remote again for 7 seconds and it will pair again with the TV and this sorts out the remote. However, this will happen often and for me, again I can live with this but many may not, so be warned this will be a regular thing some if not most will have to do to stop the remote going mad and doing its own thing. TV speakers aren't bad to be honest, better than most inbuilt ones but for a 65" many will need a Soundbar or something more to get some decent sound to match up with the picture. For this TV if putting on a dresser like we did, you need 2 people, do not try this on your own unless your the size of Shaquille O'Neal....... :-) Backlight not that bright on the numbered buttons (Solar Powered Remote, can't comment on other Hisense remotes) Early Conclusion: I'm still learning a lot about this TV, as it's a Bedroom TV we're not in here much by watching it often, so this isn't for serious viewing but at the same time, I still want some decent viewing while watching TV in bed. The 77" LG OLED is ridiculous for colour, movement and quality of the picture in the living room, so you have to accept what you're going to use this TV for and for me, this isn't a bad spend for £799, though I'd have preferred it to be £699 which would be a more fairer price. Happy with the purchase and will be looking for a low cost decent Soundbar to get that better sound out of it. I've attached from 4K content from Netflix & Amazon Prime for an idea of what this TV gives you.

Stunningly Good!
I don't normally write reviews, but after recieving this TV a few days ago, I felt compelled to. I have used various display technologies over the years. CRT displays, LED panels, OLED but this is my first ever experience of MiniLED and I've got the say, I'm blown away. I had to keep googling the model number of this TV to make sure that amazon hadn't sent me an OLED model by mistake (which they hadn't), the black levels are incredible. Picture quality is crisp and clear. Minimal bezels. 144hz for gaming. It's the best TV I've owned. I cannot speak more highly of this Tele and those on the fence should take the plunge. If there's any gripe I have, is the OS. It's responsive, quick and has everything I need, but not Google TV so cannot use Google assistant. This also means using the voice control on the remote is not as functional as other TV's I've tried in the past. I would pair this TV with the govee TV backlights and bask in the movie watching experience.

Pleasantly surprised, but you need to have access to good content
Warning: Not an Android TV in the UK! I was aware of this before my purchase, but some people will come across reviews/videos which show this Tv with Android - this is for international markets. This one has Vidaa OS (limited app selection - e.g. no Spotify) , can't side-load apps, etc.. if you don't know what this means then don't worry! It's a great TV. Sound is way better than what you find on most standard TVs with its built-in sub. Lots of sound options to suit most viewing experiences. Picture quality is great with regular streamed/broadcast content, really shines when you play 4K HDR - some good content in Dolby Atmos can be found on streaming services ("House of Mouse"+ has a few to get you started. Freely (UK Freeview replacement) is easy to use, defaults to the HD version of channels - much better than any of the Freeview initiatives that have come before, I hope more manufacturers start migrating to this. Vidaa OS is very smooth, very few hiccups, just works. There are ads here and there, but that is pretty standard now. Remote control CHARGES, via USB-C or solar! App available for Android and iOS devices to launch TV apps and has a built-in remote. All in all I have has a great experience with this over the last month, would recommend.

Superb Television.
Firstly The delivery service was excellent. The TV was very well packaged. To avoid damage it needs to be unpacked with care and the instructions followed. The initial set up of the TV is good but not completely intuitive, but a little perseverance will get the job done. I like the smaller stand; very sturdy, even on this 55"inch screen model. The picture quality is brilliant; very crisp image, colour is very good( but a little adjusting and perfection). So detailed you can make out every wrinkle and make up touch up on the television presenters etc. I highly recommend. Thank you Hisense.

Feature-Rich, Dolby-Compatible, and HomeKit Ready. Great Value
After about a month of use, I’m really impressed with what the U7N delivers, especially for the price. We actually switched from a more expensive LG model that lacked Dolby Vision and Atmos, which was a dealbreaker given how much streaming content now supports it. The U7N handles HDR and Dolby content extremely well, with vibrant picture quality and smooth motion even during fast-paced scenes. There are a ton of picture settings available, far more than what you’d typically get from bigger-name brands. It feels like gaining access to an advanced picture-tuning menu, which is a huge plus if you like tweaking visuals. That said, there is some very slight ghost shadowing sometimes, but it’s not distracting unless you’re really looking for it. Sound quality is okay, not amazing, but I use a separate sound system, so that wasn’t a deciding factor. What really stands out is how under-advertised some of the smart features are. The TV works with Apple HomeKit, which made integration with my smart home setup seamless. It also comes with Freely, which is a rare and valuable feature in UK TVs right now. Freely allows you to watch free UK live channels without needing an aerial, everything runs over internet. That alone makes this TV ideal for renters or anyone without a traditional antenna setup. Overall, this is a smart, capable TV that delivers performance and features you’d expect from a much more expensive model. The value is hard to beat.
