AROMADD 3500 Sq.Ft Smart Scent Diffuser - HVAC System

I have had the Aromadd U5 since June, and honestly, I love it. If you are trying to figure out whether to get one, it has worked really well for throwing scent through my entire house. I hooked mine up directly into my HVAC system without any issues, and it has just kept working every single day without failing. One thing that surprised me right out of the box was the build quality. The materials feel solid—much more heavy-duty than I was anticipating for the price. The app is also super straightforward and easy to use, which makes adjusting things painless. The scent travels everywhere, and I have gotten a ton of compliments from people coming over. I also had to reach out to customer support with a general question, and Bella helped me out. The customer service experience was genuinely great. The only small wish, and it does not impact how well the machine works, is that I really wish they sold just the empty bottles with caps on Amazon separately and directly, instead of going through their site. As of this message, they only offer bottles with diffusers on Amazon. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely love this machine! It works wonders and distributes the scent evenly and consistently throughout the space without becoming overpowering. The timer makes it easy to control when and how often it runs, and once it is set up, I don’t have to keep adjusting it. The machine has a sleek, discreet appearance and creates a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. It has been reliable, easy to use, and well worth the money. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!

I don't write reviews often but this one is a game changer! I have a two storied house.That is roughly 2,400 sq ft. I typically keep my house very clean. But I have two dogs that are constantly running in and out of the house. So they tend to bring in grass, and they tend to smell somewhat musky when playing in the heat. I have installed this in the attic to my air handler which was very easy. At the lowest setting you can smell it the second you walk through the door. I get constant comments on how good it smells. Its always working in the background and I never have to touch it. I love it and would buy it again. I recommend this product to all my friends already. Its cheaper than having all those ugly plug in air freshener around the house which only smells when u are close to them. This item evenly distributes it among all the rooms so there are no dead zones. I highly recommend this to be installed in the air handler of the ac. Its the only true way to unlock its full potential. The casing is almost like metal and it's very sturdy and durable. The casing and the parts appear to have alot of longevity. They didn't cut corners when they made this. Best of all when I have guests coming over I can open my app up and boost up the scent a hour or 2 before guest to arrive to smell even better. It has a bright nice led screen with significant lighting for manual setting adjustments. Fyi.... to get the most out of this set your AC fan to "ON" instead of AUTO that way the oils are constantly getting pushed by the ac so you aren't wasting any fragrance. I got the white color although I don't see it because it's in my attic i do love the casing colors as well as the black. If u have candle or air freshener in ur house go ahead and trash them and get this today! Also one bottle of oil has lasted me 2 1/2 months so far. Already paying itself off in the money I've spent on candles and stuff.

This works great for our 2700sq ft home. I have it hooked up tobthe hvac it was simple to use and the app is wonderful! I use a medium preset setting and the house has a mild, pleasant scent. I did have an issue with the nebulizer not working. Customer service through the app was very responsive and sent me a new one and a new free bottle as well, now it works great again. Would highly recommend! I had a small expensive "hotel collection" diffuser that quit working after about a year. AROMADD was less expensive and the customer service is better. Dont hesitate on this diffuser, they stand behind thier product.

I've tried candles, plug-ins, and room sprays, but nothing compares to this diffuser. As soon as I set it up, my entire home smelled amazing. The fragrance is clean, elegant, and reminds me of walking into a luxury hotel. What I love most is that the scent is noticeable without being overwhelming. I work from home and spend a lot of time indoors, and this diffuser has completely changed the atmosphere of my house. Even my family and visitors have commented on how great it smells and have asked me what I'm using. The diffuser itself is easy to use, quiet, and looks great in my home. The oil lasts longer than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. This is honestly one of the best purchases I've made for my home. I’ve been using this smart scent machine in my home, and overall it works very well. One of the first things I noticed is that people immediately comment on how good the house smells when they walk in. The scent coverage is strong and consistent without being overwhelming. The automatic function is a big plus. Once it’s set up, it’s pretty much set it and forget it. It runs on a schedule without needing constant adjustments, which makes it easy to live with day to day. Installation was also fairly simple and didn’t take much time. The app does its job, but it feels a bit unrefined, and the connection to the device can be temperamental at times. That said, this isn’t a huge deal because once you’ve set your schedule and scent strength, you rarely need to open the app again. There is one thing worth keeping in mind, especially if you live somewhere with cold seasons. This is unverified, but based on my experience: if you run the diffuser regularly while not using your AC and then switch over to heat in the winter, you may notice some “smoke” the first time the furnace kicks on. When I turned on my heat for the first time this season, my home filled with a noticeable amount of diffuser-oil-scented smoke. My assumption is that the oil either coated the ductwork over time or possibly made its way into the furnace, and then burned off when the heat was first used. After that initial occurrence, things returned to normal, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you plan to leave the diffuser running year-round without HVAC airflow. Pros: • Works very well and distributes scent evenly • Guests notice and compliment the scent when entering the home • Automatic mode makes it mostly set and forget • Easy installation • Large capacity, doesn’t need constant refilling Cons: • App feels a bit unpolished • Device connection can be temperamental • Potential oil buildup in ductwork or HVAC system (unverified) • Possible scented smoke when turning on heat for the first time in winter Overall, this is a great scent machine that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and makes the house smell great. Just be mindful of how and when you’re running it if it’s connected to or near your HVAC system, especially during seasonal changes.

I purchased this diffuser about six months ago and have run it continuously. I connected to the HVAC and it has scented our entire home well. Our layout is just over 3,000 square feet for reference. It was easy to set up and the app works great. You can customize settings by day and time to your liking. It took me a little while to get the right settings where it's not too overwhelming and not so weak where you can't smell anything. We are comfortable at 30 second run and 120 seconds off. At this rate, we are going through a 500ml bottle approximately once a month which still trying to figure out if is good for us since the bottles run about 35-40 each. Otherwise, the diffuser itself has been great and hopefully will last a long time.

I did a good bit of research to find the best diffuser for HVAC connection. I waited a while to write this review after my purchase. A few things to mention. Customer service with this company is fantastic. I emailed them to request a few extra fragrance bottles (I do not like the idea of cross contaminating the oils.) Bella was super helpful in providing a link to place the order, and even sent one free of charge. It takes a bit of a learning curve to set the schedule, either on the machine or in the app. Once you figure out how everything works, it’s not difficult, it just takes some trial and error. I have my system set to diffuse 6 seconds and pause 180 seconds only on the weekends, from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:00pm. I set a 12:00 am start/11:59 pm end schedule for each day of the week, so I can always toggle the unit to turn on outside of my weekend schedule. That is working out good for me. I decided to stick with Aromify oils after spending a small fortune buying/sampling from every essential oil company in existence lol. Sample and choose what you like. Don’t worry too much about the system diffusing here and there when the A/C is not running. I scheduled my diffuser to run at a time of day, when my HVAC fan is most likely to be running more often. A few times of diffusing here and there when the fan is not running should not hurt anything. If you plan on connecting this to your HVAC system, consider having a outlet installed near the hookup location if you don’t already have one. I ran my outlet myself. These units really seem to shine more when the fragrance is diluted with the air from your HVAC system, vs spraying in one location of your home. I hope this helps. Edit: I did not like the diffuser spraying when my AC fan was not blowing. We ended up having a strong concentrated smell around our air handler when that happened. My solution….I bought the air switch accessory from Aroma Retail (intended for their professional machine,) and wired it up in the place of my machine on/off switch. I neatly covered the hole where the switch was, with some velcro (put a small slit in it to allow the wires to pass through.) The red wire on the air switch should be connected to the red wire on the machine switch, and the black wire on the air switch connects to the white wire on the machine switch. I used heat shrink solder connectors, to make my wire connections. The black wire on the air switch should be on the labeled common screw hole, and the red needs to be moved to the labeled normally open screw hole. I opened my Aromadd machine and removed the small speaker responsible for the multiple beeps every time it turns on (take some small pliers and just twist it off. You can see it after opening the machine, on the circuit board, under the power on/off switch.) Having the air switch connected will turn the machine off and on depending on it detecting air pressure from your HVAC system (the tube on mine is connected to the duct after the A/C handler…same as the diffusing tube, and connects to the air switch high pressure opening.) The beeping every time the unit turned back on was driving me crazy. My Aromadd is connected via WiFi, so no settings are lost from the machine turning off and back on. I have included a photo of my current setup. In my opinion it is not worth paying $799 for Aroma Retails professional machine (plus $49.95 for their air switch,) when you can simply add their air switch to this machine. Keep in mind, modifying this machine will void the manufacturer warranty. Just FYI, the Aroma Retail air switch is manufactured by Cleveland Controls..Model RFS-4150. Do this modification at your own risk. I hope to have helped anyone who doesn’t want this type of machine spreading oil when the HVAC fan is off. Aromadd if you are reading this, make a updated unit with a air switch connection. More of these units should have that option. Edit: Understand something about these diffuser systems and the use of aromatic oils. Most HVAC contractors do not agree with scenting your home this way. Why….because it’s not the best idea to have oils (with a lingering smell,) dispersing on everything in your home, and throughout your ductwork. Use this in moderation, if at all. I really like the idea of this concept after experiencing something similar in Vegas, however, I also understand all the negatives. That is one reason I have my system set up to disperse very little…only on weekends/small amounts over a extended time interval….and just know, you will smell a bit of a residual oil smell when your A/C system fan first turns on when not scenting. This is because the essential oil is to some extent landing inside the ductwork/landing on everything in the house, and landing on your return filter as air cycles in your home. Do your research before installing this! If you still like it, great. If the negatives outweigh the positives, don’t buy the diffuser at all. HVAC connection or not, the negatives remain. I am choosing to keep the unit running on what I feel is toned down. I hope this helps.

A year later and my machine is working amazing I couldn’t love it more. I’m in Canada FYI. Much cheaper than buying from Aroma 360 and same result. Also Cindy was fantastic answering all of my questions and needs. The customer service is top tier. Thanks again Cindy;)
