BAGSMART Compression Packing Cubes for Travel

This is my third set of Bagsmart packing cubes. I have a pink set for myself and a purple for my daughter. I purchased this black one for my husband. We use them regularly for family trips, and he uses his set when traveling for work. For our family, they are a lifesaver. We try to limit our luggage to one suitcase (maybe two for a longer trip - a larger size and smaller). Which means all our clothes usually end up together. The packing cubes not only help save space, but they keep everyone's clothes organized. I can easily find all of my socks or all of my daughter's shirts because the items are packed together. The cubes also keep us from overpacking on longer trips - if it doesn't fit in the cubes, something has to come out. We've used our pink and purple sets for about a year now, and they are in great shape. No holes, no rips, zippers still work great. The compression works well to keep things packed tightly and save space. Highly recommend this brand as I have several of their other travel bags!

These bags are much better ones I've had. They do allow your items to be condensed and provide more room in your suitcase. I ordered the set of five with the laundry bag to provide more options with how I pack. I was able to get a five day trip in my carry on and one of the smaller bags into my under seat bag along with my toiletries and a pair of shoes. Love the quality for the price as well.

Although I haven't used these yet, they arrived today and on inspection I know they are going to be great. Originally I thought cubes were a waste of money when they came out. (I already had my methods, right? and they worked well). But I won a package at a seminar, so I tried them out. They are much better than packing without cubes. I love that they keep all of my clothes organized so unless I really want to, I never have to unpack completely on a trip. The next time I won a package (how did that happen ? I don't win stuff) it was a well known brand of compression cubes which were a brand new idea at the time. They were great but could have been better. Why? Because they opened at the end and didn't open all the length of the cube, only about nearly half way. When I saw these I knew this was an improvement. Cubes that open their entire top surface are far more functional than other designs. I also find the cube that one can see into without opening are more efficient on a trip than those that are opaque. These, although the entire top isn't all mesh it is enough to remind me what is in that particular cube. They seem very durable and well made and I expect to get a lot of great use out of them. The fact that they can compress won't lighten the weight of your suitcase but it will require less room which is a bonus for certain trips (like to cold places allowing you to condense that sweater or jacket until you need it). I have found that a compressed garment springs back to itself in seconds whether it is cashmere or fleece without ever harming the garment. If you've ever used the plastic compression bags that you have to roll up you will love these. These are lighter weight and not stiff like the plastic compression bags and a whole lot easier to use: just use the double zipper and voila! You won't be sorry for this purchase and comparing around this is a good price as well. I haven't traveled without cubes for years and I never will. They are just too useful and handy!

The nicest feature is the mesh so you can see through to what the bag contains. That’s a huge pro vs. my old set from a different manufacturer in terms of grabbing the right bag from my suitcase, especially for late night arrivals. That being said, I am not completely satisfied. I am comparing them to the prior set I own: (1) The new set doesn’t seem to compress as well but works ok. (2) I was a bit bummed because the bags seemed small, and in particular tiny bags like the smallest bag are not useful enough to want two in a set. The smaller bag sizes for the medium and large make them easier to organize in carry-on though. I haven’t done more than pack things in them yet, so while zippers and general sturdiness seem fine, it’s hard to say. I would probably just order the version of my old bags with mesh if I had more time. However, I am leaving in a few days for a longish trip so may end up keeping them anyway. They do the job.

Excellent bags that allow me to pack more in a smaller space. Unlike some bags I've owned, the zippers on these bags work smoothly and don't catch on the fabric around the zipper. Highly recommend! Good assortment of bags.

I never used or believed in packing cubes until they were recommended to me for an international trip. These ones were perfect because they fit so much! Nice quality, no weird smell, aesthetically cute, and well priced in my opinion. They were such a lifesaver in keeping me organized and not overstimulated when shuffling around my suitcase. I’m officially a fan.

One trip and the stitching is already coming apart. I'd say it's just a fluke, but I also purchased the Bagsmart rolling carryon backpack and personal backpack that match these compression cubes and the stitching on those is sketchy after this one trip as well. I'm disappointed in the quality after I spent hours and hours reading reviews and watching YouTube videos before purchasing this whole Bagsmart set. I take really good care of my belongings so this is disheartening. The color of the cubes was exactly what I wanted...my whole Bagsmart set is Oyster/Cream colored, which I love. The cubes are super lightweight, fit perfectly in my carryon, kept everything so organized, and the zippers worked well. The quality is just not what I expected if they can't even make it through one vacation without coming apart. The return window closed while on my trip, so I guess I have to sew them or call it a loss.

Amazing product and not overpriced. This is my first set of compression cubes ever. I wish I had more. It’s a game changer!!

This is the first time purchasing compression packing cubes. These were perfect for my trip when I only packed for a carry-on only. I found the material and zippers to be very strong and easy to close and compress my clothing. It saved me so much space that I was able to take everything I wanted in my carry-on. I would highly recommend this purchase.
