49cc 50cc 2 Stroke Racing Engine Motor, Gasoline Engine Single Cylinder Pull Rope Start Motor for Dirt Bike Pocket Bike ATV Scooters, Pocket Bike Engine Kits

I bought this to replace the engine on my daughters' 4-wheeler. The mounting points were different so I made my own mounts from 2 pieces of 1/4" x 1" flat stock, then used 20mm U-bolts to attach them to the frame. I was able to reuse the throttle cable from the old 4-stroke setup. Once it was all bolted down I poured some 25:1 gas in and it fired right up. Engine seems strong (for its size) and has good throttle response. If you're looking at this for the same project I was, I can confirm it does fit the X-pro 40cc transmission. I opted to use the old transmission because it has a 5.5 input revolution/1 output revolution, whereas the transmission that came with this engine was a 3 input revolution/1 output revolution, and I wanted to make it slower for my kiddos. I'm sure if you use the transmission that comes with this engine it'll boogey pretty quick. Will update if anything changes, but so far I'm pretty darn impressed for the price.

The auto clutch came apart in less than 20 minutes. Motor started and ran well for as long as the clutch held together. NO RETURN allowed, but seller offered to pay for replacement parts. Thanks for the $12 I guess? I shouldn't have to rebuild a brand new item. Won't buy again.

Had to use the old trans for my China dirtbike. Engine ran great on 32:1 on first start up! I primed the engine with oil prior to adding fuel on first start up to prevent pre mature ring failure. Engine is impressive. But now doesn’t stay running on idle. I presume I need to adjust the carb or the gas tank Was dirty prior to new engine. Either way, I will be investigating before making false claim on a poor engine build

Overall very impressed with this little motor. Showed up quicker than expected. Used it to build a small go-cart for my two boys. Fired right up on the first pull and runs great. Buyers should be aware that this is a very bare bones motor and you will need to source your own fuel tank, gas line, throttle cable, and muffler. For the price I cant complain I'm very impressed with the performance and power of this little motor. Will highly recommend to anybody in need of a small lightweight 2-stroke motor to be used with a small go-cart, mini bike, or scooter.

Tried to fix a worn out 49cc engine on a dirt bike. Rebuilt the carb, replaced the carb, replaced the coil and spark plug and it would not idle or start more than once a day. Bought this engine for $40 and no more problems. Runs like a champ.

It’s a great engine it gave us 36mph which is surprising because it’s only 50 cc we put 25.1 Fuel mixture it worked good but if you keep putting the wrong fuel mixture, the engine will lock up or blow up

No it was broken the clutch was broken it would not drive in the grass

The pull start is hard to pull at times as if it is getting stuck or something
