This little adapter has honestly exceeded my expectations. Getting it going was so straightforward, plug it into the USB or USB C port, pair it one time, and after that it just connects automatically every time I start the car. The connection stays steady and CarPlay pops up almost instantly with no lag. Maps, music, and calls all run without a hitch, which makes my daily drives feel a lot easier and more enjoyable. It’s also nice and compact, so it doesn’t clutter up the dashboard at all. If your car already has wired CarPlay and you want the freedom of going wireless, this is a solid pick. It works exactly as promised and is well worth the price.

Works well. It’s not quite as compact as the USB stick style adapters, but my dashboard has a very close plug ins, so I had to use one this is not wide and would cover other USB slots. It works well. It sometimes staggers upon a week of no use and getting into the car the first time, but a quick unplug works… or a quick wait for it to reload also works. Once I had to restart my phone after an iOS update, but it worked after I restarted my phone (for the newest iOS 26.2 that added more CarPlay options that bricked a lot of older wireless adapters from a couple years ago). Most of the time however, it works perfectly and when it does not, it takes maybe 15 seconds to fix it. I love not having to plug my iPhone 16 Pro in, anymore and the sound quality is great. I run lossless audio, streaming from Apple Music, and I hear some other devices lower the audio quality or flatten the EQ. Not so with this device. It pumps out bass and music the way I set my EQ, so it doesn’t flatten sound or make it sound weird. I think it mirrors a screen instead of actually doing a wireless version of plugging it in, which is fine. It does make the screen tiles appear a little larger though, but it’s unnoticeable. Maybe that’s how all wireless adapters work… by mirroring your CarPlay screen? It’s a little different than some other devices in that it shows a little connection screen sometimes upon start up (but that means it’s working). Which overrides your normal start up screen. All in all, if you are worried about a wireless device not working or maybe downgrading sound, this one works and keeps the sound quality. So this one is a winner! There is nearly no lag. Sometimes if you are switching a song, it takes maybe 1/2 a second longer from the press, but that’s negligible. Things a solid device, it seems to turn off after about 30 minutes (not the auto-shutoff like many talk about… just when the car stops supplying power to the outlet… which is about 10-30 minutes after the ignition is turned off) I worried about it draining my battery, but I have left it plugged in for 2 weeks once and my battery was totally fine… no draining at all. So it does turn off… it just takes 10-30 minutes after the ignition is off. Glad I bought this, since my car model (even though it’s the highest trim) did not have wireless CarPlay. It’s worth it to have Wireless CarPlay, and this device, without a doubt, works very very well. Maybe other offerings do better, but for having wireless CarPlay that always works, and doesn’t drain the battery, this is the one. I sort of don’t care if it connects 2 seconds quicker or reduces lag by an extra quarter second… this one is good enough. In fact it’s great. I have an iPhone 16 Pro I drive a 2021 Kia Forte (GT2 turbo) so it works with Kia for sure… even the models where wired was the only option (typically on the Harmon Kardon systems) that typically have trouble with other brands. Sounds great, works great, is much smaller than you’ll realize (like a pack of Trident gum) and I like that it has a cable with the plug, so it doesn’t cover other USB slots. As long as you have something in the console to lay this on (so it’s not hanging) it looks great too. There’s a little teal light that turns on when you open the door and power begins to supply to the device. Get this if you want to experience Wireless CarPlay, might be skeptical of other brands, or have very close USB plugs that would not otherwise fit a USB stick style adapter in. It works as USB A (and comes with an adapter if your car uses USB C)… which I just keep as an extra adapter for my MacBook, since that is USB C only, and I still have USB A stuff to plug in. So this works with USB A and C… and works on cars that normally have trouble with adapters… However, I heard some car brands like Mazda and Nissan have trouble with ALL adapters, so make sure this works on Mazdas and Nissans. But for all other car brands, it should work flawlessly.
