EasyPro QS1 Quick Sink Self-Weighted Diffuser Assembly for Lake & Pond Subsurface Aeration/Low Maintenance Single EPDM Rubber Membrane

I bought this last year to add additional aeration to my pond, and it’s been running 24/7 since then with no issues. Right out of the box, everything looked well put together. The construction seems solid, and everything was the right length with no need to adjust or modify anything. One of the main reasons I chose this unit was the weighted base. My previous aerator required filling the base with gravel or setting up some kind of anchor, so having this one ready to go was a big plus. Another feature I really like is the two drilled holes in the base. They’re perfect for attaching a cable and small buoy. That makes it easy to retrieve the unit in deeper water without needing to dive for it. If those holes weren’t there, I would have added them myself. Pros: Solid construction and good quality control Weighted base, no need for extra anchoring Built-in holes for attaching a retrieval line Reliable, runs continuously without issues Cons: None in my experience Bottom line: Great diffuser that’s well thought out and easy to use. I would recommend it.

Shipping really fast, easy to install, works really well with my windmill aerator.

I bought 3 of these aerators. Quality seam good till I noticed it wasn't bubbling correctly. Went to the hardware store and was able to use a 3/8" ID x 1/2" MIP brass fitting and a 3/4"MIP x1/2" FIP to replace the broken fitting. I no longer have a back flow stop but at least it's working again. Other than that the units work great.

Similar to a few other purchasers of this product the diffuser broke off from the base. It just happened one day after having been in the same spot in the pond for a year. I contacted EasyPro and they took ownership of the issue and the solution in the first communication. 3 days later the diffuser is good to go and most importantly our ponds and koi are smiling.

This bottom diffuser is high quality components. The only item that would make it better would be to add a 6” extension to get disk off of bottom so it doesn’t draw sediment. I added my own.

It was hard to tell from the pictures, but these are large, heavy aerators. Just what we needed for our pond. They are quick to set up and easy to lower in to place in the water.

Ran all winter without a problem, unfortunately, this morning I found the whole top assembly floating it broke right where the diffuser screws into the base. I have emailed the company not sure if the part is replaceable or covered under some type of warranty. Guess I will have to wait and see.
