Resident Evil 3 - PlayStation 5

Resident Evil 3 on PS5 is a super fun, adrenaline-heavy survival horror game. It’s more action-focused than RE2, but it still delivers that classic Resident Evil tension—especially whenever Nemesis shows up and turns everything into panic mode. The game runs smoothly on PS5, with sharp visuals, great lighting, and solid performance that makes the combat feel responsive. Jill is awesome to play as, and the story keeps moving at a fast pace without dragging. The set pieces are intense and cinematic, and it’s a great ride from start to finish. It is a shorter Resident Evil entry compared to some others, but the replay value is there if you like trying higher difficulties, speed-running, or unlocking extras. If you want a polished, high-energy RE experience on PS5, this is a great pick—especially if you enjoyed RE2 Remake and want more of that world.

I am enjoying the heck out of RE3 on the PS5. One detail in particular reminds me why Capcom makes such great games: they apparently have a mechanism built in that enables a player to make progress even after getting stuck in a difficult fight... For example, I was really having a tough time protecting Jill from hordes of zombies in the hospital. I replayed the scene various times -- playing at the assisted level -- and finally, the game gave me a break, restarting me at a new checkpoint further into the struggle and dialing down the zombie assault until I could blast the undead into oblivion. This assisted progress is something EVERY game should offer gamers playing at the "easy" setting, and the absence of this feature is the reason why I am giving Spiderman 2 to the Salvation Army just a fraction of the way into the game, as I got stuck in a fight by the Lincoln Tunnel and after weeks of trying, am throwing out the game to reclaim my life (and free up memory for the upcoming GTA6!) So Resident Evil 3 players -- come for the scares and challenge, but stay for the assured progress... Two (bloody) thumbs up!

Since playing RE 9 Requiem (twice) I became hungry for more RE action. I’ve now played the remakes of RE 2, 3 and 4. I have found that each of the titles were remarkable. RE 3 is especially nerve wracking with Nemesis hunting you down intermittently throughout the game. The graphics were excellent, as was the voice acting throughout the thrilling story. I highly recommend this title - especially at a $20.00 price point.

Resident Evil is back an better then ever. This Remake of Resident Evil 3 is beautiful and fun to play. At this price point it's a steal. It does not live up to the Original on PlayStation 1. I played 60 hrs to unlock everything and beating it on every difficult setting including Insane Mode. Fans frustration was link to not Including code parts of the original like the Clocktower. But now it's $20 so it's a must own for collectors of the Resident Evil Franchise. RE engine is beautiful with great gameplay an good replayability. RE3 is a solid 8/10 Resident Evil Game
