I have used this for years and it really helps clear up desk space with using more than one machine. Well made and flawless operation.

The product works very good. No latency or anything like that. They gave extra cables, but the skinny USB 3.0 to USB-C cable did not work. It was defective. I was able to use the other USB 3 cable for my needs. Amazon could not get me in contact with the seller to just get a new cable. Amazon tried to refund me and replace the whole product, but I refused to let them do anything.

The switch by itself works - I have connected to my windows laptop and MBP. While windows, it works properly - while switching, my drives are available almost immediately, but on MBP, it lags, and sometimes does not connect at all. Have to unplug the main cable, and replug again. As to the remote - doesn't work at all. Does not switch laptops. I chose this because of the remote, but that only doesn't work. Now I have to reach beneath my table to switch between my laptop and MBP. I've had numerous benfei accessories, and they've worked well, but with this, it is very hit or miss.

I use my Samsung S25 ultra in dex mode daily connected to a dedicated monitor. I also use a macbook pro on a different dedicated monitor. I use this USB switch to use the same keyboard and mouse between them. Works perfect, no issues and this switch didn't require external power for switching these 2 devices. The device is compact and lightweight and easily mounted to the bottom of my desk with double sided tape, keeping it hidden while the remote switch is on my desk near my keyboard and mouse. The included cables are long enough and appear to be high quality. I had a different brand KVM switch before this and had issues where mouse or keyboard would stop working and I'd have to unplug and replug everything to get them to work again. No issues with this unit so far. This device was also very inexpensive considering the cables it comes with. Nitpicks: The leds on the unit showing which device is active is a good feature, but hidden under the desk for nice cable management, I can't see them. It would be great if those lights were on the remote switch, or if the remote switch had 2 positions to indicate which device is active.

Solved the major issue of having to alternately use two computers, no more constantly plugging and unplugging USB cables. Hoping for reliable quality and long-term durability.

I may be wrong but the motherboard on my main PC went caput a few days ago and I’m suspicious that this hub had something to do with it. I was getting occasional disconnects from my mouse and DAC setup (headphone mixer) which I thought nothing of before my desktop started having trouble, that kind of thing can happen without a hub. Anyway I ordered replacement parts for my desktop and while waiting switched to my laptop (which is the kind of thing I bought this switcher for) and the gameplay on my laptop was getting random stutters and the dac was having trouble outputting sound, audio dropping in and out constantly. I naturally removed the usb hub and plugged in directly and those problems went away. Today while waiting I decided to poke some more at my desktop’s motherboard and got the pc running and it stopped working when I plugged that usb hub in. I don’t have any way of proving that the 2 issues are directly connected but the motherboard is only 2 years old and I don’t overclock or anything wild so it isn’t normal that it would just poop out the way that it did. I did really like the usb hub though, it was really handy hopping between the laptop and desktop for the several months that I was using it for. Maybe the switcher and my motherboard just happened to go bad at the same time. Just keep a look out.

My desk is split between my PC and MacBook as I prefer doing my design work on mac but also game and 3D model on my PC. I have everything set up pretty well with bluetooth devices to be able to use my PC setup with my MacBook, but got annoyed not having my webcam, mic, and loupedeck controller connected to the mac. This USB hub ended up being the perfect solution. It comes with a separate button so I was able to mount the switcher to the back of my desk out of sight and just mount the external button closer by me. The switch itself is reliable and fast and I have had no connection issues using it the last few months.

Ich nutze den USB Switch, um zwischen meinem PC und meinem Laptop (über eine Dockingstation) bequem umzuschalten, ohne Tastatur, Maus und Kamera ständig umstecken zu müssen. Genau dafür ist das Gerät ideal! Wichtig war mir, dass der Switch einen separaten Schalter mit Kabel hat – der eigentliche Switch verschwindet bei mir in einem Kabelkanal unter dem Schreibtisch, wo es auf Optik und Zugriff nicht ankommt. Den externen Taster habe ich einfach mit doppelseitigem Klebeband unter meinem Monitor befestigt – so kann ich jetzt mit einem Klick ganz bequem zwischen PC und Laptop umschalten. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut in Ordnung. Der Switch ist zwar komplett aus Kunststoff, wirkt aber nicht billig. Für den Preis völlig angemessen. Funktional gibt es nichts zu meckern: Ich merke keinerlei Unterschied in der Performance, als wären die Geräte direkt angeschlossen – keine Verzögerung, keine Aussetzer. Fazit: Ein durchdachter, funktionaler USB-Switch, der genau das tut, was er soll. Wer zwei Rechner nutzt und seine USB-Geräte bequem umschalten möchte, ist hier bestens bedient.

Dopo anni di utilizzo del mio vecchio KVM ho deciso di fare un upgrade. Sono capitata su questo switch un po’ per caso, complice un’offerta, e devo dire che per ora sono molto soddisfatta. La qualità costruttiva mi sembra ottima: è compatto e il telecomando è davvero comodo, soprattutto se come me lo si tiene sotto la scrivania. Una cosa che ho apprezzato molto è la possibilità di usarlo con alimentatore per collegare anche una webcam e utilizzarla su più PC. Il mio vecchio KVM non lo permetteva, quindi finalmente posso usare la stessa webcam sia con il PC del lavoro che con quello personale. Lo switch funziona anche senza alimentazione esterna, ma in quel caso non è possibile usare la webcam perché serve corrente per far passare il segnale. Per il mio utilizzo quindi l’alimentatore è indispensabile. Al momento nessun problema, fa esattamente quello che promette.

Fais le boulot, il me permet de partager clavier et souris entre mon pc fixe et le dock du pc portable, donc en 1 clic on bascule du pc perso au pc portable du boulot. Ne permet pas de partager l’écran, mais pour le prix est raisonnable vis à vis de la qualité.

Denna gör jobbet. Alla kablar som behövs följer med, USB-A hane-hane är ju inget man har hemma. Knappen är jättebra och lagom lång sladd. Funkar bra för tangentbord och mus. Jag har den för att byta mellan stationär dator och Laptop, så hdmi har två portar på monitorn medans allt annat delas via denna. Det är väl en vanlig setup, funkar super. Mycket bra, mycket bra pris, mycket bra tillbehör.
