Zhumell 20x80 is not expensive but high-quality binoculars!!
I will also write my impression, for someone it may be useful! I will start with the fact that I have been interested in optics for many years, it is my hobby, I own a telescope and three binoculars, two of them are of high quality, 8x Nikon and 10x Vortex, so I have something to compare the quality of the picture and field of view with. But lately I wanted a stronger magnification, I thought for a long time and read reviews, I could not decide 20x80 or 25x70 Celestron, after I looked into it, I immediately crossed it out because of the small field of view. Then there was a choice between this Zhumell, Celestron SkyMaster and Oberwerk Explore, all three 20x80, but there is a difference in price, besides, since I do not live in the USA, delivery to my country with customs clearance costs me an additional $ 100. I decided to stop at Zhumell, because according to reviews, it is almost the same quality as Celestron, but it is cheaper and has fully coated lenses than Celestron. I saw a lot of reviews that you can get it with bad collimation, but it did not scare me, turning the screws is not a problem for me, I did it on binoculars. In the end, I received the long-awaited parcel from Amazon, for which I thank them! No damage! Now a review of the binoculars themselves). I am very pleased with them! This turned out to be what I hoped for. Firstly, the collimation is 100% accurate. The field of view is wide, like on my 8 and 10x. The image is sharp across the entire field of view, which is important! The sharpness itself is clear and excellent! I use the binoculars for terrestrial purposes. The image is bright, at night in the dark you can see details when your eyes can’t see anything. The image detail is much better than 10x. In the end, I am so pleased with the picture that I think how much better this image can Oberwerk give for $ 270 if the Zhumell image is completely satisfactory, why overpay and for what. I have a tripod, but I hold the Zhumell (2 kg) in my hands without problems for an overview view without lingering on the object for more than 20-30 seconds. There is no big shake! For a 2-3 minute review, you can do without a tripod. But if you need to observe the object longer, then a tripod will help. This is my honest review. I am very pleased with my choice and thank you Zhumell for an inexpensive but high-quality product!!

Zhumell Astronomy Binoculars - Great Value
I purchased these binoculars for my wife to view the night sky and we are certainly not disappointed. As a beginner in astronomy, these binoculars gave us an inspiring view of the moon, the orion nebula, star clusters, Andromeda galaxy, and several planets. I found the quality of the glass as sharp and detailed, producing a view far better than what the naked eye can see. They’re heavy, so make sure you have a sturdy tripod ready to go. Although these are at a great price, they’re certainly not a toy. This is a professional quality product at a fantastic price.

Misaligned when received!
Binocs came in misaligned (double images) and had to be returned,. Return process was easy, fortunately.

Binoculars are badly out of collimation hi.
These binoculars are nicely built but the ones I received are badly out of collimation they'll give a double image which shows that the quality control is really bad. Returning product because it would cost more to align them.

Nice but out of collimation when arrived.
These arrived unusable due to double images. Unfortunately I didn't test them prior to the return window closing. I was going to toss them out when looked up how to fix columation on youtube. It isn't really that difficult to merge the images with a good tripod and a nice distant object to focus on. You will have to remove one side of the rubber grip to get to the two screws. After fixing the issue these deliver a nice image. Especially for the price. That being said, understand that all binoculars of this type are bulky and fairly heavy. Hand holding a 20X set of binoculars is not very satisfying. If you really want to hand hold binoculars with some magnification, to get pleasing results you are going to want stabilized binoculars. However you are looking at 10x the price at least.

The 20 x 80 exactly 4.6 lbs fyi
just to be clear the 20 x 80 weigh exactly 4 lbs 6 oz just like the manufacturers description says, not “over 10 lbs” like other reviews say. (I weighed them, see photo). Maybe those reviews are talking about the 25 x 100 models (this is why I find it annoying when one listing like this covers several different models and the reviews are all just lumped together). Also I’d take issue with anyone saying you absolutely must have a tripod. Yes obviously that will help because for most people they do get heavy after holding them for more than about a minute. Your arms will need a little break. But it’s not like it’s impossible to take a look at something here and there, quick peek at the moon, etc. But for more serious astronomy, bird watching etc yes you’ll need a tripod just because it’s too hard to hold them steady at a small target for any length of time. So it’s not so much the 4 lbs as it is keeping them steady. Otherwise they seem like a good quality set for a lot less than other manufacturer’s comparable sizes.

Veys good binos
I was happily surprised at the build of these binos there good I'm coming off of using the Celestron 25x70 which wear good I used then for some time now. These blow then out of the sky for being one of the lower price 20x80 binos you would not no it would buy again no problems right out of the box clear skys. And the bag that came with it isn't bad either

Great Value for Money
Beautiful clear visuals. I can't imagine what the more expensive alternatives can offer at near double or more of the cost. There have been some reviews about misalignment and I was concerned when ordering but out of the box the visuals are great, very clear. They're big so hard to keep steady when viewing planets in the night sky, however for terrestrial viewing they're outstanding.

ottimo binocolo
Grazie!

My stereo "telescope"!
I had been trying to find the highest magnification scopes after I sold my 8 inch Dobsonian telescope, which had great light collection but was giving me vertically and laterally inverted images (a result of the design) so I could not compare what I saw with published clusters, and there was no comfortable way to use a twin lens (which made the image far dimmer). I had tried a 25x100 pair of binos but the problem was the independent focussing, which was difficult to master. Therefore I took a chance on this 20x80 Zhumell, not least because of the special offer. I was so, so lucky to have it come perfectly collimated, and I was prepared to send it for collimation at my own cost, if it was not. The separate, extra thick, soft padding that came with the soft bag, and double box packing went a long way to protect the binos and so the collimation was not affected. This is very important, because I had returned many pairs of binos of various brands, as the collimation was off, or there was serious eye strain (I have a great pair of Bushnell Legacy WP 10 x 50 Binoculars as a reference). This 20x80 pair is very sharp if I can get some support when viewing in the daytime, enabling me to read labels on boxes or cars from 14 storeys. I think the image is clear across the field of view. Given that the precision is quite stunning, I would recommend this Zhumell brand highly, and furthermore, if it is not collimated upon arrival, the buyer may ask for an exchange. At exactly 2kg, it is possible to hold this pair for a minute, and when your arms are tired, you can take a break by hanging it with the included neck strap. I am waiting for my quick release tripod adaptor so I can fix it for stargazing. At this magnification, the sword of Orion fits exactly into the field of view. Although most 20x80 bins look the same from the outside, making me worry that they are all the same and just rebranded, this design might be unique because to focus, you have to rotate the knob the other way (clockwise for nearer objects). I feel it was properly engineered, and never mind that it was made in China (as more and more scopes and lenses are). I call it my stereo telescope now, because I went down to as low as 21x for my telescope then, and this is far more portable. Superb value and worth more than the asking price!

Clear view of the moon
I have only had these a short time, but on the only clear night we have had I used them for the moon, it was great, clarity fine, a little chromatic aberration depending on how I placed my eyes to the bins. I returned some celestron for poor chromatic aberration, and some ioptrons for only a third of the viewing being in focus. These were the best of the three makes, and cheapest. I could see Jupiter's moons, as I had hoped, but not Saturn's rings. I took some good phone pics through them using a rig to secure to left eyepiece.

these are big binoculars!
these binoculars are quite large and most people would require a tripod to use effectively
