Excellent book
I saw this book at the library and loved it so much, I had to buy it for my reference collection. I love seeing the graphic details of construction and this book does that very well. Great images and the visualization really helps explain how things work.

Great resource
So much knowedge in this book. This book tells you why things are done a certain way and with drawings. Mech Engineer here. Good read. (If you are looking for load calc information, this is not that book)

Nice pictures inside
It's a neat book to have on your coffee table. I've looked at it a few times when I've considered different diy projects. Nowadays you can find all of this stuff on youtube along with some guy with 20 years of experience willing to spoon feed you the knowledge so it's little more than a novelty or a nice gift for a father in law. Those are my $.02
