I connected a audia technica turn table to this speaker and was pleased with the sound. The remote is a handy accessory to have. I recommend this Spinbase.

Sound quality
Good quality. Not a music snob person so not technical. But gives grope clear sound and base. Was skeptical due to lack of reviews, but is not disappointing. Very happy with purchase. This is not a paid review

Very capable and useful with minor flaws
I gave it 4 stars, but I rate it 4.5 stars. It serves me for what I wanted, therefore I am happy with it. If you are looking for high-fidelity or the best sound possible, this is not what you need. If you are looking for a sleek design with a very capable sound, this is a very good option. For my usage and the space I have (I have it in my house's loft), it serves me well. It has a 1-second delay to power on/off when pressing the dial button, and if it is on and not playing, you don't have feedback that it is on, since the display turns off (which is good). The overall building and material finishes are good, and it delivers on its promises of not impacting your turntable due to vibration. Again, I would rate it more and I like it, but it can for sure be improved for the next gen.

Great sound right out of the box! Bluetooth sounds perfect (but short range- about 30-feet).
