I decided to take on the challenge of preparing my grandson’s first birthday smash cake. It wasn’t my first attempt at cake decorating, but it was my first important one! I mostly ordered the set for the turntable, the rest was merely lagniappe. Considering I already had a set of tips (plastic) & such, I didn’t think I needed any of the other provided accessories. But it was a great price and had the cake cutter & turn table that I needed, so I went ahead and bought the set. Thankfully so!!! Not only were the tips provided much better quality, there was a book included that showed what each tip would create. They’re also labeled with numbers , unlike my plastic ones, which was a guessing game when choosing which to use. Given the myriad of tips to choose from, you’re bound to up your decorating game with this kit. The spatulas were an accessory that I didn’t realize I needed until I used them. There are 2 different types, both of which are helpful in the decorating process. The cake cutter was very useful & helped level layers with ease. I was pleased with this tool as well. Above and beyond all the tools I’ve listed there are also a good amount of pastry bags provided. There are a few items that I haven’t even had a chance to check out yet & a helpful cleaning brush. I’m sure I’m forgetting to mention something, but surely given all I have discussed you’ve decided to purchase the set. The price is fair, if not good considering all that comes in the kit. So whether you’re an experienced cake decorator or just getting started, this kit will bring your skills to the next level! Makes even the most amateur decorator feel like a pro! This is a great investment & if you’re like me, you’ll be baking cakes “just because”. My original cake was a huge success & I’ve made another one because it was a Tuesday that was just as pretty! 😊 The only thing missing in this kit, which I mention because I had to create my own is a cake board. Not to say that it should be included, but for a newbie reading this (like I was) I wish I would’ve been reminded that it was needed. Otherwise, everything you need to create a beautifully decorated cake is provided in this fairly priced cake decorating set.

Everything a Beginner (or Pro) Needs • Incredible Value: I was blown away by how much comes in this RFAQK kit. I bought it specifically to make a special cake for my granddaughter’s birthday, and it had every tool I needed to transition from a "home cook" to a "pro baker" look. • Smooth Rotation: The turntable is the star of the show. It spins very smoothly (see my video!), which made it so easy to get that perfect ombre frosting finish and apply the sprinkles evenly around the base. • Dye-Free Perfection: As a health coach, I try to avoid artificial dyes. I used this kit to create a beautiful, naturally-colored cake. The piping tips are high-quality and didn't clog, allowing me to create those perfect "fluffy" peaks on top even with my specific frosting recipes. • Easy Cleanup: Even with 200 pieces, everything is easy to wash. The spatulas and scrapers are sturdy and don't feel like they'll snap under pressure. • Pros: Smooth spinning turntable, huge variety of piping tips, perfect for healthy baking projects. • Cons: It’s a lot of pieces to store, so keep the box or get a dedicated bin! • Bottom Line: Whether you’re making a traditional cake or a health-conscious version like I did, this kit makes the process so much more fun and professional.

For Mother's Day, my daughter wanted to make her mom a chocolate cake from scratch. She explained that she needed some cake making tools to do it. We looked online and found this RFAQK 90PCs cake decorating kit. It is hard to believe they can fit all this stuff into one box. My daughter and I made quiet the mess in the kitchen, but I did the cleanup and she did the decorating. All in all we had a great time and the end product turned out really well. The 90 piece kit had more than was needed and all worked well. So much fun. Well worth a full 5 stars.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt Like this kit deserved it. I purchased The 200 piece kit. Everything that was listed was there when I opened the box. As someone who has been making and icing cakes for around 10+ years and is now going back to school in the fall to get a degree in specialty desserts and breads; I have To say, this is a pretty nice little kit! It’s not professional grade by any means but it gets the job done if you know what you are doing. (I will Say, I did Throw away the instructions prior to even looking at them because I did not need them. I don’t know if they are useful instructions.) The biggest issue I had Was my piping bags getting little holes at the top. My solution was to scrape off the icing that escaped with the scraper and put it back in my icing bowl for further use. Less waste. This likely happened because the piping bags have little perforations so that you can easily rip off the tip of the bag once you have your piping tip screwed on. Super convenient that you don’t need scissors, but the perforations should not be at the top of the bag too. I wont Even use the silicon piping bag as a cover because it’s harder to collect wasted icing out of. It’s easier just to scrape it off and put it in the bowl for later. The turn table spins nicely, the plastic scraping tools work wonders for smoothing out the side and top of the cake, and the amount of tips you can choose for design is phenomenal. The flat and offset spatula are both very useful in filling in gaps and holes. If you are just starting off or even just need something to use at home (or in my case, preparing to ice a cake in a different country and needing moveable equipment) just get the kit. The turn table, piping tips and scrapers make it worth it. -1 star for the piping bags AND because the only other thing this kit could use is cake boards as you are not supposed to directly ice your cake on the turn table. It’s not very sanitary and you should not be fully submerging your turn table in water to wash it. Plus, cake boards make it easier to transfer your cake from the turn table to a plate. So if you are getting this kit, get some cake boards separately. You’ll thank me later. :)

I love it! The cake turntable is amazing. It turns easily and makes decorating a cake so much better. Also, the top comes right off for washing. I love all the extra items that came with it. The spatulas are really nice, the icing tips are great too. The only issue I have with this whole set is that the pastry bags are on the small side. It comes with a bunch of them though, so I guess that makes up for it? There is a case to hold the icing tips, which is nice. They're very easy to clean as well, because it comes with a brush. It has two different sized couplers to attach the tips to the pastry bags. The tips are thick and seem to be very well made and durable. I would buy it again if I ever needed another one though. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I’m seriously impressed. This is not sponsored in any way, either. I’ll start off by mentioning that I’m a TOTAL CAKE DECORATING NOVICE btw, and I bought this set bc honestly, I needed a new hobby. I literally got this kit in the mail today and obvs I needed to try it out immediately because I watch a lot of cool cake decorating videos and I love cake. Also, I was off today and super bored. I’m no professional (as you can see by my skills lol), but really everything is excellent quality. The offset spatula, turntable, piping bags and tips, leveler, scrapers, literally everything. I went with this set because it was inexpensive and I figured I may as well try it out and see if I could make something decent before getting anything expensive. This was just a random impulse buy and I was wary about the quality given the cost and I was worried it was gonna feel cheap and be disappointing, but I’m thrilled at how awesome and easy to use all the pieces are. The ebook was helpful and I also watched some YouTube videos to get a better idea of how to use everything. This was a great little project and so fun. Took 6 hours but I had nothing better to do. I’m now so excited to try my hand at making more cakes! And hopefully improving my decorating abilities in the progress. Seriously, if you’re new to cake decorating and want to try your hand at a new hobby, I highly recommend this set. Also, this is just a vanilla sponge cake with strawberry filling and a rich buttercream frosting. And yep, it’s delicious. Try it out!

I bought this kit on a whim because I wanted to try decorating cakes at home. It comes with a good variety of tools for beginners, but not everything works well. The cake leveler with the wire was especially difficult to use and did not cut the cake evenly. Overall, it’s okay for basic practice, but some tools could be improved.

Great baking set, needed a new set as mine was old and theses are great.
