Quality, Convenient, and Trusted Water Filter Pitcher That Works For Great Tasting Water!
10-cup Brita Water Filter Pitcher I ordered this because I have been concerned about plastic byproduct in bottled water- and also about the quality of bottled water itself so I decided to try out alternatives. I picked the larger 10 cup size over the 6 because I wanted a easy guide for me to drink enough water, while still being able to fit in my fridge without taking up too much room. I know that with the water I drink at the gym included- as long a I finish off the pitcher I've drank enough water for the day. I'm glad I gave it a chance. The water tastes better than the bulk store brand water I had been buying and it's saving me a ton of money. The pitcher itself is very lightweight for it's size. It doesn't drip when I pour and the lid is secure but also easy to take off. The top flips open for easy fill ups. The handle is comfortable and pouring is drip-free. The filter light lights up every time I pour so I'm assuming it measures filter use by the amount of water used. It's sturdy, BPA-free plastic and disassembles easily for rinsing. CONS Needs occasional rinsing to avoid odors, the indicator battery will need replacement eventually, and I've read won’t fix very hard water. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a practical, dependable, and simple way to drink clean, fresh tasting water without the hassle (or expense) of buying bottled water. Also to lower overall plastic intake into your body. If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them if I can.

Brita Turns Tap Water Into Bottled
I've had several of these over the years, and have to say they really make tap water taste so much better. Another plus is how quickly the filtering system works, (empty to full in only minutes) and how long the inexpensive filters last. I'm using this latest one to turn municipal tap water into bottles that taste identical to their 'store-bought' counterparts. Yes, if you read labels you'll discover that their product is also municipal water, but filtered via some pretty serious methods. No, I don't know how Brita gets the same results as the more expensive methods, and without a testing lab, it's hard to document the differences, but I've had several...one while using terrible southern 'well' water... and they never disappoint.

A reasonable size and reasonable upkeep.
It's a nessessity, and its very well worth its price. The good thing is it's water capacity is about 10 cups and so you get to rinse it out a lot more often than you do a 20 or 27 cup capacity water filter pitcher thereby keeping mold and bacteria from growing in it. Nothing beats water!

WHAT LIGHT?!? Keep in mind how much this weighs when full
Apparently I was supposed to know it was dead I bought this Brita pitcher in June and have been happily using it ever since. Today (August 12) my husband casually mentioned something about the light. The light? WHAT LIGHT? That was how I learned that my water pitcher has an electronic filter indicator that apparently has never indicated a single thing in its short little life. I turned the lid over, found two buttons I had never noticed, followed the instructions, held them down for five seconds and waited for enlightenment. Nothing. Tried again. Nothing. So, five stars for filtering water. Zero stars for communicating with its owner. And perhaps one star for me, who apparently spent almost two months living with an electronic device without realizing it contained electronics. UGH. The return window closed three weeks ago, naturally. I deducted a star because this gets so heavy when it’s full, but I guess that’s not really Brita’s fault. This is nice and big. We have 3 Brita pitchers in use since our city water is just terrible. This is the biggest one that we own and we use it for room temperature tap water. I mainly use it to fill the dog dish, but having a pitcher is handy for stuff that doesn’t necessarily need filtered water, but gets it in our home since I just carry the pitcher around.

Great product and online convenience
My wife and I have an ice maker that has been on the fritz, so until we get a new one I purchased this water filter pitcher as a fill-in. Well, it could not have worked out better, and now we plan to make it a permanent part of our lives. We fill it up every night before bedtime and store it in the refrigerator, which is very convenient because it fits perfectly on the refrigerator door with the pitcher handle sticking out a little bit beyond the shelf without impeding the door from shutting. The water is delicious, and the filters last for several months and are very easy to replace. Online ordering was easy, there was no charge for shipping with our Prime membership, and delivery was fast and convenient. This is a great product for the price!
