This is a beautiful fireplace--everything about it is quality--from the fire to the heating unit. We purchased two of these after moving to a new home, and leaving the previous one behind. We have one in the bedroom and one in the basement. We keep both running with the artificial fire 24x7, which adds a classy touch even in Spring and Summer, and based on our previous unit, it'll keep running for years. We live in MN and it gets cold here. Very cold. This fireplace and its high-end heating unit works great! It can keep a large room warm and the blower as well as heating unit run silently--something you'll value at night. The thermostat and remote are easy to use, and we are delighted with this product, which despite of its size and weight shipped *free* from Amazon and arrived safely. Highly recommend this excellent fireplace!

Love it. They brought the box to our front door where we opened and unpacked it. It took the two of us about 5-7 minutes to bring it all in. We set the pieces on towels on the floor in front of the wall and put it together easily. I will tack the electric cord to the baseboard under the outlet and paint the part that goes up the wall so it is less conspicuous. Beautiful! Dimplex is a great brand and many people think it is a gas fireplace.

When we started to look for electric fireplaces at local stores I was very disappointed with what was out there. I started researching and found Dimplex. After reading many reviews I came to the conclusion the company was known for quality and authentic flames. I decided to purchase this on Amazon due to the price as it was much cheaper than other sites. It arrived safely and was easy to assemble. It is very high quality stone work. The Dimplex fire box is high quality also and overall flame authenticity is great. Is it like a real fire, no but it is pretty darn close especially at first glance. The heat it puts out is impressive as well. It heats our 13x32 insulated basement with ease and the fan is whisper quiet. We’re very impressed and happy with our purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and well crafted this fireplace surround was when it arrived. It was easy to assemble and everything fit exactly as it was supposed to. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of the 5 star rating is because I didn't receive the fireplace insert in the heavy duty packaged box the Mantel came in nor any additional tracking information on when or how the fireplace insert was being shipped. I reached out to Amazon and was told to wait 48 hours for a response that they were contacting the 3rd party seller for me. Within 48 hours I received a message that they were sorry they did not send the fireplace insert but they would ship it out as soon as they could. I didn't like the fact that if I had not questioned when it would be arriving that I may not have gotten it. The insert arrived in perfect condition in about 4 days and I as happy that the seller did ship it out like they said they would with the tracking information they provided. This fireplace is exactly what I had hoped for and we are entitled very much!

The shipping from Amazon and fireplaces direct was excellent for such a heavy item the fireplace itself is beautiful very good build quality however the instructions that come with it are awful you will need two people to put this thing together because of it being so heavy but once you get it together it's an excellent and beautiful fireplace

This product looks exactly like the picture. It is well-made. It is sturdy with quality frame pieces and the hardware is high quality, too. Easy to put together. It looks like authentic stone. The fireplace is lovely and realistic. I am thrilled with this purchase. It resides in the dining room, and what a gorgeous, functional focal point it is! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a stone fireplace.

Heater/firebox not heating. Working to get it replaced. Assembly was easy. It's heavy/sturdy, but each piece is very manageable. 5 pieces of stone work and 5 pieces of wood accent. It took about an hour to assemble with 2 people. Look is perfect in color, size, material quality very nice. Love everything about it. Hopefully the heater box unit won't be an issue to get replaced.

The fireplace is very substantial, but doesn’t overpower my space. It adds an architectural element and focal point to the room. Also the flame is very realistic and the heating fan is not noisy! If you want to add more ambience and a cosy feel to your room then I highly recommend it!

this fireplace unit is as beautiful as the image indicates. It's heavy but I'm 5'3" and managed to get it in to my living room and carefully unpack it. Packing is superior and everything arrived in perfect shape. Set up was stress free and user friendly. I absolutely LOVE it and highly recommend this. It's not cheap, but once in place, doesn't look cheap!! You won't be disappointed.
