Dows the kit come with the tabs?

Thank you for the question on the Frost Fighter 2000 Rear Window Defroster Repair Kit. Unfortunately, no the tab bonding kit does not come with tabs. There are many different types of rear window defroster tabs so it would be difficult to know which tabs fit your vehicle. We provide several types that fit the majority of cars, trucks and vans. There are typically two metal tabs on the rear window defroster one on each side of the rear window. The best way to choose is to take a look at the undamaged tab on the rear window defroster and take a cell phone picture of it. Then match the image with the Frost Fighter replacement tabs. To see the replacement tabs available type, "Frost Fighter Defroster Tabs" in the search bar and this will show the Frost Fighter tabs available. Then use the 2000 Frost Fighter Tab Bonding Kit to reattach the tab to the defroster and save the high cost of glass replacement.

Will this work for the snap style tabs?

Not sure what you mean by snap style tabs. I glued the original blade connector back on the window of my 2011 Malibu over a year ago and it is still working.  It's a strong bond.

How many uses can you get out of this?

This depends on the amount of damage on the defroster. Normally 2-4 defroster tab re-bonding repairs are possible. If the defroster surface is damaged it is easy to rebuild the defroster surface using the Frost Fighter 2000 Tab Bonding adhesive when making the repair. Replacing missing defroster takes a little more material so normally 2 repairs if the damage is extensive on the rear window defroster.  - Frost Fighter Customer Care

How long do you have to hold it place to dry? dry

Hi Brad,
According the the directions, keep the tab in place for 10 minutes before heat curing.  If the ambient temperature of your space is cold, the tab may not set in place after 10 minutes.  If this is the case, you can warm the area with a space heater first, or tape the tab in place with something very gentle, not duct tape and heat the repair.  If you use tape, very gently remove it taking care not to damage your defroster.  Heat cure at about 110 - 130 degrees F for about 30 minutes with a hair dryer, heat lamp or other heat source.  Make certain it is not too hot or you can crack your glass, especially if it is cold outside.  Turning on the defroster after it is attached will further cure the epoxy.  Please refer to your instructions that came with the Tab Bonding Kit.
