this allows me to switch between computers to share a mouse and keyboard. The latency is not horrible. There is a little latency, but not enough to bother me.

Works just like it is supposed to, with fast switching and connectivity. Highly recommended.

the item works great occasionally it loses connection when all the computers are running at once and the keyboard freezes up but it definitely helps when running 4 computers at once and you can easily switch between with the remote control or the buttons on top of the kvm switch, light weight, doesn't take up much space on the desk so the size works, cable length is adequate could be longer.

Update: The seller reached out and made things right, so I'm updating my review. 1 star for the product, but 5 for the seller so I'm averaging to 3 stars. Original Review: I found this when looking for an alternative to a $500 KVM switch, figuring I could manually switch inputs on my monitor to save $450. It worked at first. My mouse would disconnect two or three times during the work day, but that was something I could deal with. Around week three though, the switcher become unreliable to the point of being almost unusable, then died completely a day later. Being within the return policy, I sent it back for a replacement. Round two went exactly the same way, except this time it managed to make it five weeks, putting me a week outside of the return period. TLDR: Avoid at all costs

I use this to switch my Ducky keyboard and Logitech mouse between 3 PCs in my home office. It switches between devices rather seamlessly and there is very little lag. The cable length is ok, and the provided cables could be a bit longer; this is really a non-issue since longer cables can be swapped out if necessary--- I bought this for the switch not the cables. I haven't had to use the remote since I mounted the switch right next to my monitor within easy reach to switch between devices. I have had this for quite some time with no issues and keep telling myself that I should buy a backup just in case since I have become so used to having this switch.

This usb switcher was exactly what I needed for my desk with multiple computers. It worked well for around 2 months. The issues started when one of the usb ports stopped working, the usb device I had plugged into it was not being recognized by any of the computers but when I plugged in the device directly it worked perfectly. Then another week later the other usb parts had stopped working making the switch a useless paperweight. I can’t recommend this usb switcher for long term use as it just stops working shortly after buying.

This item is not a true KVM switch as it doesn’t switch video. However, it will switch up to four USB devices and connect them to one of four computers. So, this makes it more suitable to control up to four computers that have their own displays or a separate video switcher. The switch arrives in a plain box but is well packaged inside. Along with the switch unit you also get four USB3.0 Type-A to USB3.0 Type-A leads, one USB Type-A to microUSB lead, a remote control, and some instructions. The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). The front of the unit has four USB3.0 ports for connecting the shared USB devices such as a keyboard and mouse. The back of the unit also has four USB3.0 ports and this is where you connect your computers to. There’s also a microUSB port for connecting a USB power source. This really needs to be an independent power source. Along the top of the switch are four push buttons which select which computer is active and a column of LEDs indicates the current selection. The four supplied USB3.0 Type-A to USB3.0 Type-A leads are one metre in length which may be a bit limiting. The remote control is straight forward and can turn the unit on or off and set which computer is activated. Overall, a decent USB switcher, but it isn't a KVM. I hope that helps.
