Fantastic!
I will preface this review with that I haven't had a functioning cordless drill for 7-8 years. After having trouble with batteries failing, I went back to standard corded drills and hadn't looked back. Then I had to do some work on my kitchen cabinets, and decided to give this guy a try. Worked great. I've been using this drill for everything. One knock that I would have on it is that there is a bit of wobble during high speed drilling. I assume it has to do with the short bearing length. But you don't get a right angle drill like this without accepting some things like that. You have to compromise something to have a drill that can fit into tight spaces.I've been very happy with it. I've charged it up once, and used it for about 2 hours now without having to recharge. Plenty of power to boot. I've driven up to 5" long lag screws with it and it didn't phase it.

High quality and made by USMCA friends in Mexico
This feels like a quality tool, and although Amazon Canada indicates its Chinese-made, that's a typo-goofical error: Amazon US gets it right, DeWalt will tell you the truth, and that's why I got one. Esta hecho en Mรฉxico.Nor is that some kind of weasel-word marketing like the 'assembled in America' Dewalts that are emblazoned with Old Glory (cue the fife and drum) but in fact are put together in USA from kits sent over from 'international sources' (read China). Not this. This little gem comes unequivocally stamped Made in Mexico, although that's not a hundred-percent deal; the charger and the neat little jump bag that comes with it are from China. It is really the only choice for ABC shoppers at any reasonable cost. (Not that there is anything wrong with Chinese quality -- it's just a matter of ethics for some of us.) This drill has a very tough build to it, lots of torque and good design. Two torque settings. If you grip it high you can manipulate the variable speed paddle trigger with all four non-thumbs, but you can also grip it low to use one trigger finger in the usual way. It excels at working in restricted spaces due to the right-angle layout, and it has a feature for that which isn't mentioned in the online bumf: The chuck can take in a driver bit very deeply, leaving only the working tip exposed, for the lowest-profile power screwdriver configuration. But you don't have to shove a drill bit all the way back if you need more of it to penetrate the work piece. The tool has an onboard LED light that is small but mighty. It is located below the chuck, so it causes the chuck and the bit to cast a shadow on the work, but that's physics for you. All in all, there are no real complaints to be made here at all. Of course, that's the opinion of a household DIY-er. If you ask some contractor Marlboro Man on da jawb site, you might hear different.

Great vendor DeWalts discription of kit wrong
I ordered this as a gift for my husband. It came with as others have mentioned a soft case. I contacted the vendor and they were extremely helpful and anxious to please. They asked me to get the item number from DeWalt. As you all probably know DeWalt does not sell direct. After registering the drill I contact DeWalt and explained the problem. They sent me a item number for the case. I forwarded it to the vendor and in a few days I got a part it was not the hard case. I contacted Dewalt, sent them the picture from the Amazon ad of the case and a picture of the "head" they sent me. I also notified the vendor who again said they would gladly accept a return. Hubby wanted it so. I sent vendor the info DeWalt sent me, and Guess what. A beautiful Made in USA hard case appeared at my door today! The drill is what he needed and the case is now what was advertised in the listing. A win win situation!
