TineeOwl for iPhone 16 Pro Max Magnetic Case, Camera Control Button, Compatible with MagSafe, TPU, Minimalist, Slim/Thin, Grippy - Dune Series (Almost Black, iPhone 16 Pro Max)

I probably have owned 7 cases for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and by far this is my favorite. I have owned cases from Spigen, Anker, Torras, Ringke, Caseology, Caudabe, Pitaka, etc. TineeOwl’s case reminds me a lot of the Caudabe Sheath but it feels slimmer and it’s less than half the price. What the case does right 1. The texture is really nice and grippy. Many cases only have texture on the side and not the back. I love the stone finish. 2. It’s minimalist. Super basic and small logo on the bottom. No big wording on it 3. MagSafe is pretty strong. No complaints about it. Only use it for charging though and no accessories so I can’t speak for day to day use of MagSafe attachments 4. The roundness of it is pleasant to hold 5. The case isn’t too thin or thick. The lip around the screen is generous but it could probably use another millimeter of thickness on the camera lens but it may compromise the most overall thickness. 6. The round action button is a game changer. I constantly adjust the volume on my phone while it’s in my pocket. It’s so much easier now to identify which is the action button and which one is the volume. Overall this is a fantastic case and I will definitely pick another up when I get my next iPhone whenever that will be. Please make this for just the regular iPhone 17! I was going to purchase my mom one but I’m surprised you don’t have that model.

I bought this case for my wife, and she’s been really happy with it. The texture feels great in the hand, providing a secure grip without being overly bulky or slippery. The MagSafe magnets are strong and hold accessories and chargers securely in place. The color is another standout feature. It’s a nice neutral shade that goes well with just about everything and gives the phone a clean, modern look. Overall, it’s a well-made case that offers good protection, excellent MagSafe compatibility, and a premium feel for the price.

I’ve been searching high and low for a plain black case with a good grippy texture and coverage for the stupid camera button, while also including MagSafe functionality. Finally, I think this case fits the bill perfectly. The case has good, strong magnets that are well placed. The protection for the camera bump is effective and unobtrusive. I like that they made the button on the case for the iPhone multifunction button a round shape so it can be easily differentiated from the others. I’m quickly able to silence my phone without removing it from my pocket just by quickly feeling for the round button. I don’t often use the new camera button but I’ve tested it with this case and it is fully functional. Soft press, sliding and hard press all work as they should. I did have a very minor issue with the camera button after installing the case. The camera button had to be reseated to be flush against the iPhone camera button and has since not caused any issues. Biggest gripe is the buttons on the case are connected by only the smallest amount of material on opposing sides of each button. I haven’t encountered any durability issues with this design as of yet, and I assume the buttons were designed this way in an effort to prevent them being too stiff due to the rigidity of the case material. The space around the buttons are open by about the thickness of a fingernail and it does allow dust and dirt to accumulate within the case. I would have much preferred the buttons to be fully enclosed, even if that had caused them to be harder to press. All in all, I’m happy with this case. The best part about it is that I don’t even think about it. It has no rough seams, doesn’t adversely affect any functionality, and the grip the case provides is sublime. The price was definitely at the right spot. It has saved my phone a few times already and hasn’t picked up any abrasions or scars that I can see. Perfection.

I ordered stone and black and plan to swap between both. The stone one fits slightly better on the bottom but both are great on my iPhone 16 Pro! Camera control works very well, and I really like how the grips on the sides feel when holding the phone. Doesn't feel slippery at all, and the back also also textured so it doesn't slip out of my hands. Rounded action button came in handy more than I would have thought because I really can feel it without needing to look when the phone is in my pocket. Buttons are satisfyingly clicky, and cutouts are very precise (no issues with my USB C cables). Camera cutout on the back is good as well, with a raised lip so when the phone is placed down, the lenses will not touch the table. Only time will tell if the stone will discolor over time, or if the Magsafe rings will show themselves with use, but with the price being so fair, I am still very pleased. If I had any suggestions, I'd say to color match the camera control button on the stone (It's black, which stands out against the lighter color case) and to make the buttons metal or interchangable for more clicky responsiveness, but that is just nitpicking at this point. At this price, it's almost a no brainer, get it!

Pros: rock like matte texture, does feel nice to hold, however not as grippy as I'd imagined. Does feel like a protective ish material, thick enough and half flexible half not, will probably protect from a light drop but I have only dropped it once and it was not a high fall so can't say yet. Very anti fingerprint and smudges. Update after a few months: still loving this case it is my favorite case for the iphone and hubby agrees. The pink has not faded but can get dirty. I have been wiping my phone and the case with alcohol wipes no problem and it does clean up smudges. I also have been using a pop socket since i got it and have not noticed any mark leaving on the case. Update again: the pink one has gotten some staining from jeanss like another commenter said. Its not possible to get the stain off. Cons: does not feel as tight fitted to the phone as I'd like, especially the front edges, haven't popped off or anything but it feels like if I dropped it hard it might pop off the case, and its also easy to bend, easy to put on and off but really does not feel tight enough for me. Camera control button also doesn't feel the most secure, compared to something like spigen hybrid ultra T. Even though it does feel protective enough for low drops day to day, does not feel like it will be able to handle rough drops. Camera button feels a little unresponsive/slow I got 2 of these cases one pink one black for me and hubby so will update later if the color fades or if my phone cracks from drops.

Update: received replacement case from Amazon. Brand new with a seal on it, and has a proper UPC product code without another UPC code label over it. Love the case, upgrading to 5 stars. I love the texture on the case, yet it slides in and out of my pants pocket with ease, as well feels super smooth in the hand yet it has a good grip. Almost magical. I had previously purchased a genuine leather case at more than 2x the price and it pulls my pocket inside out. The camera control works fine, which looks different on the new replacement case compared to the used/returned one Amazon sent me originally. I've added photos comparing the new one to the used one. The photo showing the interior of the camera control, the new case is the one on the bottom. I'm going with the goof being on Amazon and not the seller. Equally important, all buttons remain very tactile, and the round action button to differentiate from the volume up/down buttons is a nice touch. Lastly, I usually like a minimalist case with no branding. On this case, I actually like the subtle little owl logo on the bottom. This is my go to case in the future when I upgrade my phone. Initial review: I don't know if this is the fault of Amazon or the seller, but I received an obviously used case. Perhaps it was a returned item, I don't know. The box seal was already peeled off. There are smudges on the case, and there's a scratch on the corner of the camera bump. I will say I like the feel of the case very much. It has a nice texture to it giving it a good grip, yet it is very smooth to touch and does not pull my pocket inside out which is my #1 concern when buying a phone case. I've requested through Amazon an exchange and will update if this issue is resolved.

It’s a decent case. Seems solid enough to provide sufficient protection. The grippy texture is decent—doesn’t get stuck on everything but feels nice to hold. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but it still feels as new. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some wear and tear eventually, but right now it feels great. Easy to install and functions as intended. There are no bells and whistles (no kickstands etc). The price is fitting for what it is. No bells and whisles, just a good, solid case. Unfortunately the finish is prone to dirt and discoloration. The image attached is the case after the few weeks of owning it. It’s not incredibly obvious but you can see where my fingers from my right hand rest when I use the phone. This was also AFTER I tried cleaning it with water and isopropyl.

Great case. As described and the capacitive camera button works very well (as good as my beats case). Looks good, seems protective, and the sides have decent grip (without being tacky like silicone cases). I do wish the back had some more grip though (like the sides)… but this seems to be a consistent issue with all non-silicone cases (and I’ve tried dozens). Overall - I do recommend this case.

Ich probiere gern rum was Cases angeht, hab also einige durch (und vermisse immer noch die Apple Leder Cases…). Die meisten haben schon mal keinen echten Kamera Button und die Ausschnitte nerven mich persönlich sowohl vom Look als auch von der Haptik. Apple Silikon Case ist ok, mir aber zu viel grip, rutscht nicht gut in die Tasche und wird leicht schwitzig. Das Bests Case ist mir wiederum zu rutschig, bei beiden ist allerdings der Kamera Button natürlich top. Das hier ist für mich perfekt: Schöne muted Farbe, grip aber nicht gummiartig, Button funktioniert top und die Idee mit dem runden Action Button ist noch das I Tüpfelchen
