Can you plaster over these?

I used these washers to fix insulation panels to the underside of the roof joists in our loft - so no plastering involved. They were excellent for what I needed. The most common use for these washers is to fix insulation panels to the outside of a building, which would then be rendered over. The rendering would normally be at least 15mm thick, so would cover the washers. If you are using the washers to fix panels internally they would probably be ok, but it is important to ensure they are tightly screwed to prevent movement, and the plaster thickness is also sufficient to cover the washers/screws - say 12mm. Ensure the correct screws are used, e.g. proprietary plasterboard screws, which will not discolour the plaster over time. Hope this helps. J
