It's heavier, which I really like. I'd say the quality rivals far more expensive pens. The balance is spot on and there is a great shape to it. It's comfortable to write with and looks great. They also put a quality ink cartridge in it which says something about the attention to detail and is consistent with the whole product. I'm impressed with this pen, especially considering the low cost. Review: Very nice, did buy others - I am enjoying this pen. Its heavy, and thick, like I like. Easy to hold. The cap seams to stay on the back pretty well.writes well. I wish the blue refill it came with was a little brighter blue in color. However the pilot g2 blue refills fit and the colors are what I'm looking for. Overall great pen. Update: I found that the pentel EnerGel 0.7 blue fit just fine. It gives me the color of blue ink I like, it doesn't skip. Love it more now and I have ordered the new blue pen in both the rollerball and ballpoint.
