I love all fruits and nuts so I'm pretty much happy to eat whatever chocolate covered fruit or nut that's put in front of me and have tasted a great variety. I've never before had chocolate covered freeze dried nuts of any kind though. The chocolate is good but that's no surprise. What's surprising is how freeze drying changes the texture of the pistachios into a hard sponge that crunches into a dry powder while maintaining the taste of pistachios. There's an interesting dissonance between the mouth's expectation of a roasted pistachio and a crunchy powder that tastes like pistachio. I'd liken it to the similar dissonance between a spoonful of cold, creamy ice cream and biting into a lump of freeze dried ice cream. Both forms are tasty but I much prefer the original and can't really see the purpose of the freeze dried product except as a novelty.

There was more chocolate than anything. I could barely tell there were pistachios underneath the low quality chocolate, and it wasn’t whole pistachios, just pieces. Terribly disappointing, and way overpriced for what you get. I will not buy again.

Very tasty but far too expensive. I agree with the other reviewer who said that the chocolate/pistachio ratios are all off. There is far too much chocolate on the delicate taste of the nuts. I won't buy again. Not worth the expense.

These are so tasty! These are little pistachios coated in delicious, soft milk chocolate. The ratio of chocolate to nut is about 50/50 on most of them which is perfect for me. The manufacturer date on the bag is recieved is shown as 01.10.2024 but I'm not certain if it's MM/DD or DD/MM format so could have been manufactured in Jan or October of this year. They taste fresh enough either way. The expiration is 01.04.2026, so at least a year from now! It is a small amount in the bag, it's only about 2.5 oz and a couple serving sizes. I could eat them all in one go!

My resealable pouch contained 2.6 oz. of milk chocolate (30% cocoa) covered pistachios, slightly over the 2.47 oz. (70g) figure printed on the bag. Although the ingredients list says 2.6 servings, the contents could easily be eaten as a snack by one person in one sitting. The package, ordered in December 2024, was less fresh than expected: It had a Jan. 2024 production date but still has a distant expiration date of January 2026. While the website currently says these are “freeze dried” pistachios, the packaging says, “roasted pistachios,” as does the taste and texture. The aroma is a nice mix of chocolate and roasted nuts. They have a good flavor with sweet chocolate and roasted nuts, although the nut flavor seems more generic roasted nuts than pistachio.

So small and melted. I got it for my caregiver and she put them in the freezer. She said they were OK. Too expensive for what you get.

Awful tasting and so expensive. The Costco choco pistachios were amazing so I tried this but it was like eating chalk

The Chocolate Covered Pistachios Dragee is truly a delightful treat! Despite the very small package, the taste is absolutely fantastic. The milk chocolate coating pairs perfectly with the freeze dried pistachios, creating a wonderful balance of sweetness and nuttiness. At 2.47 oz, this chocolate covered fruit and nut snack might not last long, but every bite is worth savoring. If you love chocolate dipped goodies, this one is sure to please your taste buds!
