I've been looking for something my gf can use for her phone, or on the computer to make gaming a bit easier for her. Specifically, Minecraft PE. I wish I could review other devices but this seemed like one of the better options. So far I'm happy with its performance and feel overall and recommend it. I just got it and played Minecraft PE on my phone with it, it works, feels like a sturdy controller and is pretty smooth. Since the port is on the bottom of the controller to plug in, low battery means you can plug it in when you're playing. It doesn't feel as ergonomic as a PS/ Xbox controller, but for casual play, it's fine, if you're playing on a phone, it's certainly good enough. The thumbsticks feel pretty solid, the dead zone feels minimal for the price. The only Cons I have The triggers are buttons, not levers. If you have to put your phone in sideways, you cant charge it while playing. I feel like they could have left a gap to allow for this. You can set the phone up to be high enough to plug in, but then the cable will block a bumper button. There isn't really a way to turn it off, so unpairing it is basically the best way to have it power off. It's made in China, so there's the security question. Overall, I like it as far as first impressions go. I got it specifically to play Minecraft with on my phone, and this will certainly do just that. If anyone figures out a way to charge their phone while using this without having to undock the phone, please let me know. Like most people, I really didnt like the size of the joycons, so I bought this as an alternative. Been using them for a few weeks now and at first I had to get used to the controls, but it wasnt that bad of a learning curve since they are just Xbox controls. PROS: -Long battery life (I only charged it once since I got it) -More comfortable in hands -The D pad is actually a D pad unlike that poor excuse of a D pad on the left joycon -Buttons are clicky -Wii U button placement (anologs on the top, buttons on the bottom) CONS: -No rumble or motion controls -If you’re using it for the Switch, the buttons are swapped (B is A, A is B, X is Y, Y is X). But if you’re used to Xbox controls then this wont be too much off a problem. -(Might be a pro for some) Controller doesn’t charge off of Switch’a power supply, it has its own cord. But you can still play while charging -You have to connect it EVERY time you turn on your Switch. Not super annoying for me personally but it’a worth mentioning -It wont fit in a normal Switch carrying cases due to the bulkiness. So you would have to take off the controller from the tablet Now I’m aware that this is iPega’s first controller thats compatible for the Switch and the main audience is mobile users, so some of these complaints aren’t relevant to them. But if this thing had rumble, motion controls, and the button place was correct, this would be perfect! I hope the company will make a controller cartered to Switch users.

Such a disappointment. My husband loved this controller and it is made so well. It's very sturdy and nice quality. Unfortunately he followed the instructions and downloaded the app and it still did not work properly. This is a shame and we will be returning and trying to find a controller that will work.

Connects fast, makes playing on phone 💯 times better

I purchased 2 Ipega-9038 gamepads from Gonezon Amazon Marketplace on 12/27/18 – I opened the first of two on the next day. Straight out of the box, I knew I may have trouble with the buttons on this device... Cheap, sticky feel. Two days later one of the buttons on the gamepad would not reset after being pressed, registering multiple presses – useless... I wrote to Gonezon, the third-party seller who sold the defective merchandise and was basically told in one-sentence replies, that when I return the merchandise to an address in China (at my expense) he would “arrange a refund when (he) receives it” EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL SERVICE from GONEZON. The second controller doesn't seem to hold a charge. Gamepad construction feels light, cheap plastics, and the buttons WILL FAIL... Both are being returned to Amazon.com for a refund. In summary, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING these gamepads for more than $12-15; and even at that price - only for VERY casual use (even though casual-use they are going to fail - due to poor product quality.) Do not count on receiving after-sale service from Gonezon- as there is basically none.

Feels good hands on. The downside is if your using the jack for audio it won’t work

This what every mobile gamer needs, the ability to make your everyday phone/tablet into a gaming souce. Works right out of the box with the Android OS and Retroarch to bring your gaming library alive. I have spent over 10 hrs playing since it was delivered. I would definitely purchase this again. It's compatible with Android, iOS and computers with Bluetooth capabilities. *Recently noticed that this brand has been plagued with dead spots and ghost button pushes - causing the device to act crazy during gameplay - hopefully they can fix this with firmware or I will be returning it.

La verdad estaba un poco exceptico al respecto, dado a que he adquirido varios gamepads bluetooth en el pasado y no me han terminado de convencer, ya sea por que el material de construcción era de mala calidad, la funcionalidad en si, era mala o ambas juntas. Debo decir que me sorprendio muchisimo la calidad del producto, si bien no es un mando de xbox en cuanto a calidad, es bastante buena, se siente muy robusto además de ser bastante ligero y la batería dura bastante tiempo. Otro punto fuerte es el rango bastante amplio de apertura que tiene me atrevería a decir que puede contener hasta un ipad (cosa que no puedo comprobar ya que no poseo una) a diferencia de otros gamepads del mismo estilo que se limitan a tener un rango similar al de un teléfono celular esto es un punto a favor muy a tener en cuenta. Pero no todo es miel sobre hojuelas, la cruceta direccional se nota nada más verla que no esta bien diseñada, sobre sale demaciado del control y puede llegar a incomodar después de un rato de usarlo, los botónes el mismo cantar si bien cumplen su función sobresalen más de lo que deberían. Otro punto que si bien no he podido comprobar y tal vez fue una mezcla de auto sugestión debido a intercalar entre mi pc y dicho control es que hay input lag (el tiempo que tardas en ver las acciónes realizadas ya sea oprimir un botón o mover la cruceta direcciónal o joystick y lo que ves en pantalla) y recalco que no lo he podido comprobar y creo que es más una cosa subjetiva. Fuera de eso recomiendo el producto sin duda alguna, aunque el precio podría ser un poco prohibitivo, si eres una persona que gusta de jugar bastante en su teléfono celular y/o utilizar emuladores, la verdad no te arrepentiras.

Originalmente lo compre para mi Nintendo Switch y al parecer este modelo no es compatible, me gustaría cambiarlo por otro igual que lo sea. Agradezco su atención para decirme cómo puedo solucionar mi problema.

Un poco difícil de configurar, y de repente no conecta adecuadamente, sobre el vendedor, muy buena atención(por eso las 4 estrellas)

Compré este producto porque pensé que era compatible con Nintendo Switch y resulta que no lo es. No puedo darle otro uso. Así que estoy muy decepcionado.
