Activity lights run across the top of the unit instead of across the front of the unit like most old ones but seems to work very well. Speeds are up. No problems with hooking up I recommend

My new PC can handle 2.5 GB speeds, so I upgraded my internet service to 2.5 GB, and then my modem, and router to match that capibility of the higher speeds. I installed this 2.5 GB switch to replace my 1 GB switch. My security cameras, laptop, and other network devices can't handle 2.5 GB speeds, but I added a BrosTrend 2.5 gb network card to an older PC in another wired room and this switch provides the connection for the higher speeds to that PC. This all works well and installs quickly to replace a slower switch (just transfer ethernet wires) for both PCs and 1 GB devices and it provides me with future options and upgrade path to take advantage. I love the faster speed on PCs.

Works amazingly well. Quiet and small. Tucks right in where I needed it to. I’m able to connect everything I needed to connect and it’s high speed.

Bought two of the switches in October of 2025 as of today 8/14/26 both have died. One stopped working today, the other stopped working on 8/12/26, So I could not recommend them based on the life expectancy alone.

Sweet little switch. Build quality is nice. Plug and play with no issues at all. It’s compact and looks great with my white ONT, Cisco switch and Eero 7 Pro. Provides plenty of ports for a small lab/home network. And performance is great. I attached a couple screen shots showing my speed using my MSI motherboard with a native 2.5Gb nic. The only reason I took off one star is because the lights just blink like crazy. The company should switch to a better use of the led notifications on the front of the switch to make it easier to identify the state of the ports. But if you can live with that and the blinking lights don’t bother you, this is definitely a five star switch. Especially for the price and its performance.

I bought these to replace switches in my network that were the only roadblock to 2.5G internet. I got them during a sale on Amazon, that allowed me to replace all the switches I needed to. Some other brands seem to be much more expensive for 2.5G capable switches. I decided to try these, knowing Amazon’s good return policies. They worked immediately, giving gaming computers over 2G up and down easily. I noted the power adapter plugs in the front or the unit, but no issues there. At first I thought it didn’t have connection lights, but then I found them on the top panel. Again, no problem, most of the time these are hooked up and hidden. It’s compact size, mounting is easy (I often use 3M Dual lock Velcro) In short, no issues and easy connection to my Fiber router. A great value for a basic 2.5G router, I am very happy with them so far

Angeschlossen sind bei mir unter anderem ein NAS mit 2,5-Gbit-Anschluss, eine FRITZ!Box 5590 Fiber sowie ein AVM FRITZ!Repeater 2700 per LAN-Brücke. Die Lieferung erfolgte wie von Amazon gewohnt schnell und sauber verpackt. Auspacken, Netzteil anschließen, LAN-Kabel rein – und alles lief sofort ohne irgendeine Einrichtung. Genau so muss Plug & Play funktionieren. Die Verarbeitung macht für den Preis einen wirklich sehr guten Eindruck. Das Gehäuse fühlt sich wertig an, die Bauform ist angenehm kompakt und das Netzteil ist ebenfalls schön klein. Die LAN-Kabel rasten sauber und fest ein, nichts wirkt locker oder billig. Auf der Oberseite befinden sich kleine grüne Status-LEDs, die den Betrieb und die Datenübertragung durch Blinken anzeigen. Alle angeschlossenen Geräte funktionieren problemlos und die Geschwindigkeit scheint ebenfalls absolut zu passen.
