Unreasonable shipping time of return of defective item.
When the item was installed, it would turn the air conditioner on, but would not turn it off. I talked to Customer Service at Google and after they tried to resolve the issue, they agreed that the unit is defective and said I should return it.I returned the unit to STAPLES using the instructions from Amazon and now I am being told that there is a delay in returning it and it’s going to take Twenty Five days before they can initiate a refund. Very interesting that it’s taking that long for STAPLES to get the item back to Amazon when it only took two days for Amazon to get it to me. I will seriously consider this when looking at future purchases from Amazon.

Awesome thermostat
I purchased two of these to replace aging Honeywell remote controls for the two zones in my house and have to say these work great. Cool feature include the screen coming on as you walk up, the rotary dial, and of course full google integration. Highly recommended.
