Can blades be changed for smaller/larger wire ?

The blades can be changed. There are at least 4 versions of blades for regular wires. You can also buy the blades separately.

Country of Origin is now marked as China, where are these now made?

The packaging on the tool I received in 12-5-22 is marked “made in the USA of US and global components.”

45-292 or 45-092 model?????

I purchased the 45-292 model on March 28,2013. I have used it a lot and am very pleased with it. It is rugged and durable and if it is anything like the other Stripmaster wire strippers I own and use almost daily, it should last almost a lifetime of continuous industrial use. There does not seem to be much difference between the 45-292 and the 45-092 except the insulation on the handles as far as I can see.

Listing describes both counter-bore and knife type blades. Which is it?

Counterbore blades are for Mil-Spec cutters.
