Great AC units!
Package arrived on time and in good condition. Install was very easy and all parts needed were packaged correctly. The unit came with a high quality foam seal already attached to the unit so this made the install even easier. Installed on airstream with 2 1/2” thick roof. The air distribution box fit perfectly without adding the foam extension. I installed 2 of these on a 31’ airstream and they cooled the unit down within 15 minutes in the shade at about 89 degrees. happy so far with the units. Very quiet and draw very low amps. I was running both units on an extension cord for testing with no problem. Very quiet also. Highly recommend.

Quiet and cold!
The wife and I bought a 20 ft. 2017 Winebago Micro Minnie camper that obviously wasn't used that much. A lot of our camping is with our kids that tent camp and we don't get to use many of the luxuries of the camper. When we finally did we got to use the A/C. The Dometic unit that came with it was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. I downloaded an app to check decibel levels and the old unit was right about at spec. @ 66 dB. After installing this Chill Cube I measured again and it was about 56 dB. What a difference 10 dB. makes. It is extremely quiet and chills like a charm. The wife and I swapped this out ourselves and we're in our mid to late 60's. It fit right in the existing opening. The hardest part was getting this one on top of the camper and the old one off. We called in the kids. I don't usually give reviews but I can't wait to take this "on the road again".

Very efficient, quiet and reasonably priced.
Very efficient and quiet. I had a perfectly functional Dometic 13,500 BTU unit with soft start. It was extremely loud and used over 1700 watts of power. I have lithium batteries and solar and it wasn’t enough to run the Dometic. I’d get alarms from the inverter due to the voltage drop. It was also really loud, you can’t hear the TV when the fan was on. So I upgraded to this Chill Cube. Know that you’re going to need to buy the correct adaptor for ducted or non. Installation was super easy, half hour maybe for the non ducted unit with adapter since everything was already in place for the Dometic AC. The unit is very quiet. The best part is how efficient it is. It starts at a much lower wattage compared to the Dometic, I think the maximum power draw I’ve seen is 1,100 watts, and it usually ramps down pretty quickly to 800 watts, then 500, 300 and so on. I have 1000 amp hours of lifepo batteries and I think I can run for up to ten hours now on batteries alone without needing to turn on a generator. Where as before due to current draw and voltage drop etc I could maybe run for an hour on batteries alone. It’s also a lot quieter, the fan ramps up and slows down with demand. This is a game changer for me and will allow me to boondock with confidence. I take my dogs camping and this is peace of mind that if I lose power the batteries will keep the AC running for hours. I can also camp for several days only running the generator for an hour or two a day to recharge the batteries enough to use the AC. It’s nice to be able to camp and have AC without the generator running constantly. So far so good. Highly recommended. The price is very reasonable as well. It’s a no brainer compared to the old style systems especially when you add the cost of an optional soft start. The Chill Cube inverter always starts super soft and it’s easy on batteries and inverters. Update, I just camped for a couple days and did not have to use the generator. I only ran the AC for several hours but it hardly depleted the charge. It's so nice to have peace and quiet.

Amazing AC Unit for our RV
This AC Unit is better than we expected. It cools our RV even in 90 degree weather. It comes with a remote control that is easy to operate. The unit is quiet and we can talk and watch tv with the unit on high. The price was comparable to other units, but well worth the price!

Good luck to if you dare buy this
Cross your fingers and pray you get a good unit if you decide to buy this junk. I went off the reviews and bought the unit. Had it installed professionally to make sure there were no issues. It was installed at the end of the season so it didn’t get used really until this spring. Apparently the unit I received has a bad control board. I thought no big deal it’s under warranty! Well after a month I’m still trying to get the part. I can’t get the part anywhere else apparently either. Since I’m having problems I looked at other people’s issues and it seem that many of them have the same issue. . So good luck to you if you decide to roll the dice and buy one. I’ve missed 3 trips already and by the way it seems to be going, I’ll probably miss a few more and get it just in time for winter. . If I don’t just throw it out and eat another couple thousand for a new one first. A warranty is only as good as the company honoring it and Furrion / lippert sucks

JUST GET IT!!! You can run TWO for the same amount of energy as ONE Coleman Mach AC's!
JUST GET IT! Drove from California to Florida in September. At about Arkansas the 2 factory installed Coleman Mach Ac's were useless on our 2020 Thor motorhome. The humidity just froze them up. This ChillCube has a built in dehumidifier to help prevent freezing up. It runs on very little energy. It was a supper easy install, just clean the roof surface, place the unit over the opening and that's it on the roof! Then go inside, place the control panel baffle in line with the 4 screw holes and screw it down, THATS IT! We swapped it out with the kitchen fan, so because there is only 12 volt there, I opted to just wire it up to a 12 awg extension cord to plug into an outlet. When we return to California I'll hard wire it in.

Awesome Air Conditioner
5 stars isn't enough for this air conditioner. Cools the RV quickly. Runs extremely quiet. Uses much less power than our original GE AC. There is nothing I dislike about this air conditioner.

Very easy install
Installation notes: I used a 300lb weight limit ladder with towels to protect the edge of my RV with a gentle slope and at the bottom of the ladder behind each leg I placed a brick and behind each brick 2 stakes to ensure the ladder didn't slide. A flat tow rope looped around the ACs made lowering the old one and raising the new Chill Cube easy for me and the Chill Cube is much lighter (72lbs vs 90lb Coleman) so it was very easy for me to pull up the ladder and just get it ballpark on top as you can lift from inside and get it lined up perfectly. Obviously after the old one is off you need to clean around the opening. I sealed all the way around with aluminum duct tape on the inside of the hole edges. Just 4 bolts tightened to 40 INCH lbs (highly recommend the digital inch torque wrench as the click style I never hear the click) and it is on. Could not be an easier upgrade. You must ensure you buy the correct UDB (FACT18MA-PS-AM) and note that when you begin to want to assemble the UDB none of the screw holes were pre-tapped so use your screws 1st to tape the hole (screwdriver only NO DRILL) and this is especially helpful when you are done assembling the UDB and attach it to the Chill Cube to complete the installation. I found that for the 3 smaller screw holes for the junction box 3 6 3/8 screws worked best. Overall very easy install and for sure IMO a DIY as there is no sealant involved just 4 screws compressing the gasket seals it on and torquing it to correct 40 in lbs.

Awesome air conditioner
This air conditioner works amazing!!!!! we have a 32 foot fifth wheel. Abiet, it is very well insulated however that being said this air conditioner effortlessly cools our trailer up to an exceeding 30° from ambient outside…. Installation was not difficult.

Upgrade camper air conditioner
Nice and cool. Runs in low or medium fan speed off my Champion 2000 watt propane inverter. The remote is a nice feature of the matching indoor kit I purchased. Used a bunch over the summer and fall with no issues. Make sure you get the correct ducted or non-ducted model and the correct interior kit.

Dead on Arrival + Seller Invents Rules to Block Warranty/Returns
The Furrion Chill Cube arrived completely dead — zero power, no lights, no fan, nothing. Literally DOA. When we contacted the seller for troubleshooting or warranty help, we were told (verbatim): “We cannot assist you unless you have the original packaging.” That requirement was NEVER mentioned in the product listing, the order confirmation, the user manual, or anywhere else. They simply made it up to avoid dealing with a clearly defective $1,400+ unit. After we pointed out that we no longer had the box (because we installed a rooftop air conditioner like any normal person would), they then fell back on their standard policy: • Customer pays return shipping on a 90+ lb unit (hundreds of dollars) • 20% restocking fee on a product that never worked for even one second So now we’re out well over $500 just to return something that was broken straight from the factory, because the seller hid an undisclosed “original box required” rule and Furrion refuses to stand behind their product. This is predatory. Hundreds of recent reviews say the exact same things: DOA units, loud compressor cycling, error codes, leaking, and zero meaningful support from Furrion or most sellers. Avoid the Furrion Chill Cube and avoid sellers who pull stunts like this. Buy Dometic, Coleman-Mach, or RecPro instead — anything but this.

Product amazing, seller experience poor
The item was great, the shipping process and communication from the seller was horrible. The flat out lied to me, luckily I received the item as it should have been but I won’t be purchasing from this seller again.
