Leather bound is better just need to take care of book properly. Leather bound opens flat easy to read hardcover becomes difficult to keep steady and open flat which is very irritating. Quality is good.

Absolutely perfect!
The study bible arrived two days earlier than expected. It was very well packaged with bubble wrap in between the Bible and the outer packaging. The Bible itself comes with a dust jacket that protects it from other possible damage. I was extremely impressed with the care that went into all of it from the seller as this was my main concern with ordering this study bible from Amazon.The study bible is great. The paper is buttery smooth and the content has a lot of extra bits of information, indexes, maps, etc. It’s the perfect all in one for a Catholic who is keen to learn more of the history, archeology, politics and geography along with the faith formation portion.I was very hesitant initially, especially considering the cost, but I’m glad I took the leap of faith :)Cheers and god bless!

Sans doute la meilleure bible d'étude qui soit. La moitié de chaque page est faites de notes: commentaire, linguistique, histoire, théologie, etc. avec de nombreux liens vers le catéchisme de l'Eglise Catholique. Cette Bible est sans doute la seule à proposer une interprétation aussi exhaustive et parfaitement conforme à la foi catholique. Indispensable pour qui veut comprendre le texte de manière approfondie grâce au commentaire d'éminents spécialistes, dans le respect de la foi de l'Eglise. J'ai une bonne quinzaine de bibles en ma possession, c'est la seule à proposer une exégèse aussi approfondie, destinée aussi bien à des clercs qu'à des laïcs. Seul bémol: il faut savoir lire l'anglais !
