It works like magic lol
I love my curly thick hair but it was time for a change lol Please read everything I wrote as I’m trying to help you the best I can especially if you have thick curly hair… This is the way I did it I wore an old shirt, I washed my hair with shampoo (I didn’t have sulfate free shampoo unfortunately but it still worked), I blow dried my hair until damped (blow dry downwards each time), I sectioned out my hair and added it to my ends and half way on my hair (don’t add the first product to the roots) and I left it for on my hair 40 mins. I washed it out, blow dried, then straightened my hair (I added heating oil before straightening too). I then added the second product to my straight hair and left it in my hair for 30 mins. I washed it the second product with no shampoo, blow dried my hair, and straightened it with oil again. So far it looks amazing and better than my regular curly frizzy hair which I love but, I’m thankful because now it will take less time to get ready. Depending on your hair it might not need so much time in it but it helped me and my hair. Word of advice definitely watch YouTube videos before hand, buy sulfate free shampoo, wear gloves, wear old clothes and follow directions. After you’re finished for the first 3 days you can’t get it wet, you can’t work out for the sweat, you can’t put it behind my ears, and you can’t put it in a hair tie, don’t wash it for a week, do weekly hair care. Most importantly If it gets wet blow dry the wet part quickly and straighten it. It only took me 3 movies and 4 episodes on Netflix to finish which was 7 hours however it depends on your hair lol. Pros: -I love my hair -It’s easy -it works -it helps your hair -my hair is shiny and straight -it’s better than a perm -you can dye your hair 4-6 weeks later -The straightening will last 6-9 months and touch ups will be needed by that time Cons: -Don’t use on hair that’s been dyed or permed until a month later I believe -if you have thick curly hair it will take forever if especially if you’re doing it by yourself so have something to watch, eat and drink -it smells but not as bad -the first product doesn’t burn but the second did a little tiny bit but nothing major

Love my new hair because of this product
I have really curly hair, type 3C curls and was very tired of buying curly hair products to apply every 4 days on my wash days. I was tired of waking up the second day with frizzy broken curls even if I have a silk pillow cover Pretty much curls are high maintenance. So I always end up wearing my hair in a bun which on my wash day my hair looks fabulous but it doesn't last. So when I did the JHS treatment it took me 8 hrs. due to my hair density and the resistance of my curls I had to leave it on longer until it relax. I would not recommend to use this strength if you have fine caucasian hair. Bleach or colored hair. Although my hair was damaged from the color treatment months before. I do have very coarse hair that is very strong so this strength was appropriate for me. Also I bought the olaplex system and applied it to my ends so it does not break the bonds too quickly. Than after the treatment I would use olaplex 2 rebounder and use joico damage rebounding hair mask and shampoo and conditioner set. I Use very good products so if you plan on applying it on damaged or thin hair do the same. Thin or damage thin hair I recommend you use a less strong version just because the breakage is real Steps: Number 1 is important to break the hair bond shape due to the high pH it softens and dissolve the hair cortex and cuticles but makes it more easy to break hair bonds similar to hair relaxers. For curly gals look at your hair roots too that is where hair is most resistance if it still has a wave form it is not relaxed yet, but depending on your hair it could be over damaging to your ends even if your roots arent ready. Make sure you apply the product quick. Washout and do another process application on to resistant area like roots after washing it out the first time this will save your ends from extreme breakage. After washing your hair apply ton of heat protectant to the hair blow dry downwards to keep hair cutticles from lifting upwards or frizzing the hair. Keep hair slightly damp but not too damp. You need to use a flat iron to pin straighten the hair. Be very meticulous with this or else you will have left over frizz. Than apply number 2 neutralizer over flat iron hair this will lock in your hair shape so it is important to do this process well. also it neutralizes the number 1 chemical alkaline property so it's more acidic. It will harden the cortex and cuticle which basically seals the shape of your hair. Once done wash it out apply a very good hair rebounding mask leave it on for at least 1-2hrs. Apply leave in conditioner, heat protectant, Than repeat blow dry downwards and flat iron into your desire shape. Also you can apply a real good sleek shiny oil afterwards. Than you can't wash it or tie your hair for 72 hr after. this process helps give your hair time to reform and reharden its hair shape and also gives the hair time to lock in your new relax straight hair. Tying it will give the hair a kinked shape. Follow manufacturer direction as always.

Magical!!
I wanted to wait a couple of days after to write this review. This stuff is magic!!! I love it! My hair is naturally wavy and really frizzy — it’s so hard to manage !! Most of the time I try to flat iron it anyways... I would suggest having another person help you, you have to make sure you get all pieces of hair because if you miss a spot, it will not straighten. My sister helped me and she missed a small spot in the front near my forehead, now it’s still wavy but I don’t mind bc it actually makes my hair look a little more natural. After the first wash, I already saw results!! Then the second one, I let my hair air dry and it dried straight! I was so amazed!! 3 days later, I finally washed and shampooed it, still looks great!! I’m super satisfied with this product!! The only negative thing I have about this product is the smell. The first solution STINKS!!! We did my hair outside and the smell still bothered me so much.. the bathroom stank really bad when I went to wash it out, and 3 days later, the smell still lingers in my hair. Luckily the neutralizer (2nd) solution didn’t stink! Great product! Much much more affordable than going to the salon which usually charges $300-$500+ .. though I’m sure salon quality might be better. But this is perfect for me!!

Fantastic results!
One set of this was enough to do my hair and both of my teens once each over 4 months with about 10% left over in the bottles. I originally just did my kids because I had just had a professionally done Brazilian Blowout. However, my salon Blowout only lasted 3 weeks, whereas my kids Blowout that I did with this product still looks like I just did it and even though I did it 4 months ago. I didn't want to fry my hair, so I waited until recently to use this on myself (pictures attached). Some tips: • Yes, it smells. So make sure you're in a well ventilated area. • Watch some YouTube videos of others using the same product to do it correctly. I didn't find the directions on the package to be very helpful. • Thoroughly wash the hair with a sulfate free clarifying shampoo BEFORE you start. • Have a straight comb and salon hair sectioning clips to help you through each step. (I use double hinged clips hair sectioning clips.... Amazon or Sallys Beauty Supplies sells them for $6 a set). • Use an iron that can get really hot, at LEAST 350°F (about 180°C). I used the hottest setting on mine which is 450°F (230°C). However, all 3 of us have a lot of very thick resistant hair, so you may not need to go as hot as mine. • DO the knot in your hair tip the other reviewer posted here with pictures in their review. It really does work to tell you when your hair is ready for the next step. Because the 3 of us do have a ton of thick hair that likes to be resistant to chemicals, each of us needed to keep step one in our hair for 45-70 minutes each despite the directions saying 10 minutes. The knot tip was how we need it needed to stay on that long. • Make sure you do this on a day you have PLENTY of time. We each took 4-5 hours each to do ours, all on separate days. Someone with shorter and thinner hair than us may only need 3 hours. • If you can flat iron your own hair, you can do this full treatment by yourself. I did do my teens hair for them, but did my own by myself. • Unused chemicals WILL keep for future treatments for months with the lid screwed back on. Totally worth it! Considering my professional salon Brazilian Blowout was $200+ and only lasted 3 weeks, the fact that I did 3 people's hair with one set of these for $45 ($15 each person) and it still looks amazing after 4 months, this was a steal! Hands down I would buy it again and highly recommend it.

Will damage your hair
DO NOT BUY!!!! This messed up my hair so bad, as soon as I put on my hair.. My hair started to look like a rubber band, so I got so scared and took it off fast and washed my hair with shampoo and let me tell you I started to brush it with lots of leave in conditioner and it was a big mistake because my hair started to fall so much. I was reading that if this happens do not brush your hair because is too weak and that will cost your hair to fall so just leave it alone. I stopped brushing it, I did a deep conditioner and brushed it the next day and my hair was still falling but not as much. Now my hair is so dry and dull and so frizzy. My natural hair is soft curls and now my hair is dry damaged hair. I wanted straight hair.. Go to a professional please!! Sometimes we want to save money and do it ourselves but you end up messing our hair, if I didn’t act fast I would have no hair right now.. Good luck!

Straightens 4C hair.
6 MONTH UPDATE: Idk. I had a fair amount of breakage with this. I only retouched it once (after 4 months). The parts in the front that were already long didn’t break off (which is surprising since that is where the heat damage is). It was the shorter truly natural part in the back, and the subsequent new growth that didn’t take well. It wasn’t disastrous, but I didn’t retain length either. I might continue to use this product to touch up my leave out in the front, but the rest I’m going to grow out natural. I don’t regret trying it but it wasn’t a good fit for me. ———————————————————- The quality of the result depends on how well you flat iron your hair in those steps, which is why someone with 4C hair will have mixed results at a salon stylist who may not have experience with this hair type. Do not use on relaxed hair. EDIT to make this point clearer: The product itself does not straighten the hair. It only breaks the bonds to lock in whatever texture you set it as. So if you want it perfectly straight, YOU must do a great job during the straightening parts. If you wash and dry your hair (don’t condition, typically you want open cuticles for chemical processes), you should have a good result if you follow instructions.

Easy to use, but be confident you can do this yourself or have a friend help...
I have had this treatment done with this exact produt in Korea and in America. (So much cheaper in Korea!) With the pandemic going on, I can't fly to Korea this year and I didn't want to pay all that money at the salon in the States. So, I decided to do it myself. It's simple enough to use, no mixing products required, and if you're used to doing as many things as I've done to my hair, you can do this yourself easily. If you have someone who can help you then definitely use them if you're not confident doing your own hair. It worked perfectly and bonus of being able to get the flat iron really close to my scalp so I was able to do it better than the salon who (understandably) don't get as close to my roots as I want. I know I can do this myself and save a ton of money now! The smell is kind of nice to me now but I still don't like how the smell stays in your hair after the first couple of washes. It eventually goes away though. Just for reference, I'm Korean/Black mixed and have somewhere between a 2B and 3A hair naturally (some parts are curlier than others) with lots of frizzy parts in between. On part 1, it takes a salon about 1 hour to apply it all to to my hair then they leave me about 20-25 minutes after that to get the curl released. Do not apply directly to the scalp! I got as close as possible. Of course doing it on myself I did touch my scalp several times, but I mostly kept a little space. If you feel ANY burning, wash it out immediately!!! The 2nd part they leave the neutralizer on 15-20 minutes after application. That's what I did at home and it worked perfectly for me. I usually wait 6+ months between treatments or about 5"-6" of growth. So my hair looks pretty crazy by then. Didn't take me any less time than a salon but it was nice to do this at home! Will be buying again! Thanks for saving my wallet by making it available to the home consumer. But please only use if you are comfortable doing your own hair or have someone who can do it for you. Also FYI, NEVER use this if you currently have any bleached/lifted hair, it WILL melt your hair off.

Wash-and Go Hair is Achievable!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am so excited!!! This product actually works!! Did it get my hair absolutely flat? No. But, it did get my hair straightener than I’ve seen it get (without a flat iron) since I was pre-pubescent! I bet that if I use it again in a couple of months then I might be able to achieve truly straight hair without having to do anything except brush it after I shower! There is an odor to contend with. My husband complained about the smell of the house for a few hours, but a few properly placed candles and opening some windows did the trick. My hair still smells a little like a perm after the first wash, but I don’t care. I imagine it will wash out soon enough. Finally!!! I have wash-and-go hair!!! I’m so excited!! A few details about my hair: Other than what is in my shampoo and conditioner, I do not use any other chemical products. I don’t color it, highlight it, or perm it, and I haven’t had a Brazilian Blowout in over five years. My hair is fairly thick, a mixture of curly and wavy, and it always looks best the first hour after it gets styled. (See picture #2) After that first hour the frizz starts to set in no matter how much product I use. Unless I use a flat iron, by mid- day my hair will have grown by a few inches thanks to a frizz factor that is off the charts. UPDATE: I waited a month and repeated the process using the remainder of the product. This time I closed my bedroom door, opened the windows, and turned on the fan. That must have helped because the smell wasn’t nearly as bad on the other side of the house. 😂 I am happy to announce that my hair is now silky straight! (See picture #4) I am AMAZED! It makes me so happy that I want to cry. for anyone considering this product who has struggled with frizzy hair over the years then this product will be your dream come true. I have always wished for “wash-and-go-hair.” I have had quite a few expensive processes done to my hair by salons over the years in attempt to give me hair like this. None of them ever worked. I never imagined it could be this good! I just bought another package of this product to have on hand when it’s time to do my roots. I didn’t want to risk it being out of stock!

great!
Recommend it!. you need to be very careful applying it. if you don't know how to, better go to a professional. however if you decide to do it yourself don't leave it for more then 10-15min. it works my hair is straight and beautiful Its very dry so it's necessary to put mask weekly. also if you dyed your hair please don't use perm (recipe for disaster). enjoy.

Do not do this at home.
I used this and put the straightening cream on for the lowest amount of time, and lost half a head of hair. Please be aware and pay a professional if you want this treatment!
