Vida Designs Corona Merchant Chest Of Drawers, 9 Drawer, Solid Pine Wood

This is a beautiful table. Sturdy, gorgeous wood and with quirky metal fittings. Internally there's a lot of room for storage - I've been idly trying to figure out which of my friends I can fit in there, it's so big! The waxed wood is very attractive. It is a lovely brown shade rather than the typical pale/blonde wood seen in most pine furniture. Assembly is required. For the most part this is simple and the instruction leaflet very clear. All necessary parts are clearly labelled and packed individually so there's no confusion. There are a LOT of screws. On the plus side this makes the table very sturdy and solid but buyers might find a multifunction drill/screwdriver useful. I found it easy enough to make alone but if you're not able to lift well then having a friend to help would be a good idea as it is moderately heavy. There was a problem with the base board being broken but a new one arrived within the week. I notice another customer also experienced a broken board - I would think this could easily be prevented by packing slightly differently. Additionally some of the side panels seem to have guide holes for screws in odd places such as joins. Simple enough to redrill them elsewhere but something to consider if you don't have relevant tools. Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

This is a lovely small piece of furniture. Instructions are accurate and this has been very well designed and manufactured. It took hours of building, taking my time it took a whole day, not to make mistakes. It looks lovely. Functionally, you do not get as much space as a normal drawer unit as there is wasted space between the drawers - but you get lots of different spaces as the trade off. If you have an electric screwdriver it will make building this MUCH easier - I ended up with blisters. Every part was present and no damage/defects in manufacture. If I have to nitpick, it would have been easier if each piece of wood was labelled with stickers/numbers/letters. It took so long because it is so well made and sturdy. The colour tone is lovely - antique pine - looks old and genuine. This will last a lifetime. Highly recommend.

Happy with product though I would note some limitations. The top drawers only fit around 8-10 pairs of socks. This does not take away from the space and style provided by the larger/lower drawers. Its still a great product but I will be using it for non clothes items because of the size limitations (I have a lot of socks). The instructions were straightforward, though I noted difficulty with the conecting of two parts via a metal bracket, as I have larger hands and the screws were small. This made for awkward construction there, but this may be user rather than product error. The natural pine wood smell is quite refreshing and the look has a sort of distressed wood charm that adds character to the product. All things considered, this is a solid product, so definitely a 4 star from me, however, the limitations noted lose that 5th star for me. However, you may fall in love with the product, as preferences may vary between us.

Opened box to find that two side panels for one of the bottom drawers were completely broken and therefore unusable. One of the drawer handles was also damaged. Furthermore, the instructions were appalling. No way to contact seller to request a replacement parts, so now stuck with a chest of drawers with one drawer 'missing'. DO NOT BUY this product.

Its massive, sturdy im very pleased with it. very easy to assemble looks fab and a fantastic price, very quick delivery. looks very expensive lovely deep draws. i wanted it for the bedroom to keep spare bedding and towels in and its perfect. its very sturdy and very tall just right for my 46" TV and sky box to sit on top. so impressed with the quality im gonna buy 2 more.

This item turned up very quickly and I was even more impressed because we live on the Isle of Wight !! My Husband assures me that it was quite easy to put together, although you cannot use power tools, so he did end up with some blisters from screwing the peices together by hand !! It is a very sturdy chest of drawers, and the bottom drawer can hold a lot - it is being used in a holiday home to store bed linen and towels, and there is more than enough room for it all. It really looks the part in the cottage which is 400 years old !!

This is such a beautiful piece of furniture. Solid pine (except for the back and drawer bottoms). I don't usually like self assembly furniture but took a chance on this based on other recommendations and I'm glad I did. My husband, with my help, put this together in a couple of hours. The instructions aren't particularly clear, just pictures. However, take notice of the pictures and the details such as plug hole positioning and you can't go wrong. I have to say it is a huge piece of furniture and you would definitely need to measure the space before buying it. Saying that, I'd say "make room." If you need the drawer space you cannot go wrong with this chest of drawers as they are exceptionally spacious. I've used the bottom drawer for bedding which is a bonus. Can't recommend this, or the seller highly enough.

Sturdier than I thought it was going to be, I accidentally put the bottom front panel on backwards, (silly me) and then I had to hammer the the decorative bits in, but it still looks wonderful! Draws are very deep and holds a lot of clothes, wood is strong so it doesn't bow even if you put a lot of heavy things in. Opens easily, doesn't get stuck, so you don't have to fight with the drawer if you want a tshirt. This product is definitely worth the money! Might have to buy their wardrobe now! Update: After having these drawers for over 2 years, they still look exactly as pictured. They havent faded at all and are still in perfect condition. I thought the weight of my clothes would have doomed it by now but its still great!

Como quedaba muy bajita compre unas patas en negro de 15 centimetros y ha queado perfecta. El acabado se mancha con facilidad y el montaje me dio problemas una vez montada y encolada cuando fuy a poner los cajones no entraban y es que las piezas tienen una forna unica de colocar pero es practicamente imposible apraciar la diferencia asi que puse dos piezas del reves, lo de arriba abajo y esos cajnes ya no entraban. desmontar despues de encolar es tedioso y las instruciones correctas pero no especificaban claramente que prestara atencion a esas piezas.

This is a very well made unit. the build quality is excellent. I am very happy with the finish. As I am on my own it wasn't the easiest unit I have ever built. But it was worth the effort.
