This is by far the best primer I have ever used. It felt good on my skin, made it soft and supple. It really does make my makeup go on easier and it stays longer. At the end of the day my face still felt fresh, not oily or greasy and I have mature dry skin but some primers are too heavy and feel like there is coating on your skin. I'm a professional Makeup Artist and this is a great primer for the dewy look. I wouldn't recommend it for matte but for a glowy dewy look it provides a smooth blended texture. If you want satin you might be able to achieve that with adding powder after the primer but I've never tried that since I stick with dewy. I had been searching for some time for a natural alternative for my skin because as an artist I have to wear makeup almost everyday and I didn't want to keep putting chemicals on my face everyday. I prefer the dewy look on myself and this works great for that and having clean ingredients on my skin. I don't use primers as moisturizers. That's not what they are so that's not their specialty unless the product states that it's a 2-in-1 of a moisturizer and a primer. Otherwise all primers are only that; a primer, not a moisturizer. So I moisturize, allow my moisturizer to absorb into my skin for a few minutes and then apply the primer right before foundation and/or concealer. You also want to let the moisturizer absorb a bit first so that it doesn't alter the consistency/job of the primer; which is to smooth the skin's surface allowing for a more blended and natural makeup application.

The serum/cream itself works SO well for me. Has an odd smell when applying, but not a big deal for what I’m getting out of it. I will say that the plastic dispensing bit of the bottle shattered on the second use and then the contents went bad rather quickly. Really disappointing after spending 20 bucks. I very much wish the container was made with better quality materials but can certainly recommend the product as long as you’re careful while dispensing.

having oily skin and living in a humid climate, i have tried many products over the many years i have worn makeup. this one is terrific. each time i have used this my skin has not felt tight, or dry and shine-as the day wears on- is certainly minimum. my makeup goes on easily and i find i am using a bit less! my pores on my aging skin are definitely reduced as well. i just a couple of pumps for my face.

I got this because I have sensitive skin. While it made my skin soft it also broke me out. Smells gross but only for a second until it is rubbed in. I think if it didn't break me out it would be great since it does work well under make up and makes your skin soft.

I ordered the primer and foundation for the first time togther and have been using them for about a week now....and ITS AMAZING!! Im 46, and I still get break outs and my skin has begun to show signs of aging, I have spent ALOT of money on different products to help my problematic skin-thought i’d give this a try after my esthetician recommended a different product from this company, my skin looks better when I wake up, I even need less makeup now to look good! I am hooked on these skin2spirit products and will be working on trying them all as I run out of the things that I have painstakingly selected throughout the years! Thank you for making these wonderful products!! This primer beats out a very expensive and popular primer on the market!!

Just got this foundation primer and was super stoked to try it! I just used it on my bare skin (I used moisturizer this morning) and I like the way it feels, smells very clean, dries matte so we’ll see how this works with foundation. Update to follow. Update: Really wanted to love this :( I use all-natural/organic foundation and skincare so of course I wanted to try this and love it. It honestly made my face look greasier at the end of the day and didn’t do my makeup any justice. Didn’t fill up my pores or fine lines.... it’s not really doing much of anything, really, and I’m sincerely disappointed. I didn’t use any today and my makeup truly looked more in-tact and less of my oils came though. 1 star for being natural. So sad this didn’t work for me :( My skin was shiny even after a few hours of it being on my bare face..

This is a great product. I love the way it feels on my skin and how smoothly my makeup goes on with it. I like that it has clean ingredients which is why I bought it in the first place. Very happy with the results!
