Great alternative power source
Super long cable (315 inches / ~26 feet / 8 meters) — This is the standout feature. You can route it from a distant outlet (garage, basement, or indoor wall) to your outdoor doorbell or upstairs thermostat without needing extensions or worrying about reach. Many shorter adapters (10-16 ft) fall short in real homes; this one gives you flexibility for clean, hidden installs along baseboards or exterior walls. Works seamlessly with all Ring Video Doorbell versions (including Pro, 2, 3/4, Plus), plus smart thermostats like Ecobee, Sensi, Honeywell, Nest (1st/2nd gen), and others needing 24V AC. Output is typically 24V/500mA, which matches or exceeds what these devices require for stable operation—no underpowering issues that cause random reboots or battery drain. If your setup lacks existing doorbell/transformer wiring or a C wire, and you want something affordable, long-reaching, and dead-reliable, grab this. It’s especially great for renters, older homes, or anyone avoiding wall modifications. Saved me from constant recharges and false alerts highly recommend for the price and convenience.

Perfect to Power a Honeywell 9000 Thermostat
This transformer was perfect. I was replacing a standard two-wire thermostat with a Honeywell 9000 Internet thermostat. Problem: the furnace control system did not provide a "C" wire connection. Normally, the thermostat would take its 24 VAC from the furnace Rc and C. Not having "C", I had to use an external power supply. This transformer powers the Honeywell 9000 perfectly. Also, it has 26¼ feet of cable, so I did not have to buy a roll of multi-conductor thermostat cable.

No more batteries!
This was super easy to do. I put a hole big enough for it to go through and put a faceplate over it and used the wire hiding strips and works wonderfully

Works with Google Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd Generation) smart video doorbell
Pros: - 26 foot long cable to ensure it reaches power outlet - Allows you to keep your legacy doorbell intact Cons: - None Identified So far My house was built in 1920 and when installing smart doorbell (I use the Google wired 3rd Generation) did not want to touch my legacy doorbell which is connected to the chime in the house. This product works with the Google wired 3rd generation and is a practical solution if you have a power outlet close by. It requires a little bit of wiring maintenance to get the power cable to the power outlet but it works! Now I have 24/7 live video recording without touching my legacy doorbell system (something I didn't want to deal with if I don't have to).

PSA to Amazon Thermostat Users!
This is perfect for older houses! I only had 4 wires behind my old thermostat and knew essentially nothing about wiring a furnace. This is my first time ever changing a thermostat and it was pretty easy. There were a few special tweaks needed for an older house though. I have advice for people using the Amazon Thermostat with this! See below. -First and foremost you can get through this process as safe as possible if you use ChatGPT. Also, follow the normal instructions included when adding the device to the Alexa app. Turn off circuit breakers, etc. It's good to have a live wire tester to make sure it's safe (they're cheap on Amazon) OR just turn off every breaker to be sure there's no power to the wires. -The C wire needs to come from outside the thermostat while all the other wires are inside your wall, so you'll need to cut out a tiny bit of plastic so the C wire can also fit in where it's needed. There is a small door that flips up and down on the device you plug your thermostat into. Carefully rip that door off or you wont be able to close it with the C wire in the way. You'll understand when you get to wiring it. Once that door is removed and you cut out an area for the C wire, then you should be able to attach the actual thermostat with no issues. -The wire can but cut shorter if you like. Splice it correctly again if you do. Remember! ChatGPT can help if you don't know. -Do NOT twist the two C wires together because they go in different slots on the thermostat! KEEP THEM SEPARATE. -One wire goes into the C slot. The other wire will be intertwined with the RH (hot) wire. Works like a charm. 10/10.

Good adapter but not for high demanding devices
TLDR: If you need a 24v adapter, your device does not need more than 0.5A and/or your camera is in a very low traffic area this should work perfectly. In my case it does not provide enough current to charge to keep my Eufy E340 camera going 24/7/365. In depth: To be clear this review reflects more of my unique use case than the adapter's quality. The unit works as its intended and that it says it would, supplying 24v and 0.5A but in my use case it does not provide enough amperage for the Eufy E340 video doorbell camera. Due my camera being in a very high traffic area, with all the sensitivity settings turn down to the lowest, activity and privacy zones setup to try and minimize alerts/recordings this adapter cannot supply enough current to charge and keep the internal battery of the E340 topped up. The battery will begin to drain down until the camera has to turn off and disconnect, at this time the adapter will be able to be-able to charge the battery. You will lose a few hours of coverage from this issue, where the E340 cannot process recordings, chimes and etc. I would typically return the unit but as I had already run, clamped and hid the wiring, I will be purchasing a different adapter, cutting the wires off this unit and connecting them to the new different adapter to save time and energy resolving my use case issue. In terms of the unit itself, it seems to be good quality; not to big as to block other outlets which countless other adapters will do. The wire length is great at 8m or 26.2ft or 315in, is 26awg stranded wire that is terminated with pre stripped and tinned ends, which even the flux used from their tinning process being cleaned off shows an attention to detail and QA/QC. Price is what you would expect for these types of adapters ($17 USD at time of writing) so it's a good value for money. No coil whine or noise can be heard and it does not generate abnormal levels of heat (granted only used the "touch method" instead of actually measure with say a infrared thermometer).

Works with our eufy e340 doorbell.
I’ve been using this 24V transformer to hardwire my Eufy E340 smart doorbell, and it’s been working great so far. Installation was straightforward, especially with the long cable — it gave me plenty of flexibility to route it cleanly without needing extensions. The power output is stable, and my doorbell stays consistently charged without any dropouts or issues. I also like that it’s wall-mountable and compact enough to keep things tidy. It feels solid and reliable, not cheap or flimsy. Overall, it’s a simple but effective solution if you’re looking to avoid constantly recharging your smart doorbell battery. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for a cleaner, more permanent setup.

Kind of working but not good enough for Eufy E340 doorbell
I bought it for my Eufy video doordell E340. It was kind of working but not good enough. During the 2 weeks I have been using it, it stopped charge once. I have to unplugged and plugged it back to make it work. It did charge my doorbell but it did not provide adequate power. Based on the Eufy specs, my doorbell needs 10-24V, 10VA transformer. My doorbell settings are mostly defaults. It received about 10 motion triggered events on average each day. The battery level was dropping slowly from 100% to 80% in 2 weeks. I have to return it and find a powerful transformer with 16V, 30VA.
