I'm back buying one for my GF.
When this first arrived, I was kinda intimidated by it because a lot of people in the comment section were either complaining about difficulty or inability to get it paired. But, I needed an unobtrusive, fob-style opener that could accommodate two doors, so I took a chance. And, well, the people complaining had a legit beef. There is one step in the manual, and I can't remember which one it was, that was absolutely hogging everything up. But, good news, everyone... YouTube to the rescue. There's a video showing exactly, step by step, how to pair the opener to both doors, and it was so easy, and it has worked without flaw ever since. Now, my GF is jealous and she wants one, so here I am back buying another. Pros: - Super compact - Buttons cannot be easily depressed preventing accidental openings - It's stylish - Super easy to pair once you have the right instructions - Even though it's small, it has the same opening range as my full size opener - It feels well made and rugged Cons: - Just that one little glitch about getting it paired, that was easily remedied via a YouTube video Summary: - I am super impressed. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

A Must-Have for Garage Doors
I have purchased this remote several times, four in fact. Our Chamberlain garage door has the MyQ smart feature and we use it, but the simplicity and reliability of this remote simply makes sense. There’s no WiFi to rely on, and the range is amazing. I live in a row house and I can be on my bicycle or in my car halfway down my block before I get to my driveway, and the remote works! Battery Life and Replacement Changing the CR2032 battery can feel like you’re going to break it, but I’ve only had to do it once after nearly 3 years of using it. Reliability There are other brands out there, but stick to the original. It works and is very reliable. Setup Note: My garage door opener has the yellow learn button. It’s pretty easy to set up with this feature. I don’t know how easy it is with other brands or models with more than just the single learn button.

Nearly 5 hours to get it right!! My fault
Ok short of it is only took 1 min to make it work, but took me nearly 5 hours to figure out what I was doing wrong. So we have a LiftMaster 8500, I could not find the learn button, the front is sealed and unit is mounted to the wall, front plate is held in by two philip head screws so it's not meant to be opened. Then I traced a wire to the remote light unit mounted in the center of the garage on the ceiling, and look at the right side, bingo, there is a tiny black button and an orange light. I spent next several hours trying to program to it, the best I could have done was to get the light go on and off, finally at 11PM I thought to myself, it can't be it, its not learning anything... then I remembered, there is a little gray box mounted to the wall that controls the garage door, I looked at it, it has a MyQ brand on it, and I remember this thing turns on the light and open/closes the garage door, and it has a flip up face plate. Under the flip up face plate I FINALLY found another learn button, hit it twice it comes on, followed the instruction, I get the mini remote to be programmed in literally 30 seconds!!! I think the instructions are too vague and need a big big knowledge base that customers can search and be reminded this kind of thing. So make sure you know where you LEARN button is when you get your garage door upgraded, take a look at all the accessories attached to the main unit, in my case I was completely thrown off by the light unit and its fake learn button that does nothing. And totally forgot about the MyQ wall switch, and its hidden true LEARN button. I attached a picture of the MyQ wall unit, the plastic cover with the logo is the piece that flips up, and another picture where the piece is flipped up, you can see the Learn Button on the top left.

Very compact and well made. Range is pretty limited however.
Bought for my son who parks in the driveway and since kids don't carry keys, he would sit there and use the keypad to enter the house. This makes life a little easier for him, as it programs easily with Chamberlain openers, but just know it is very small which is great for something you carry in your pocket, but a limitation of that is that the range on it is pretty weak. He has to be about 10-15 feet from the door for it to trigger. Any further and it won't register.

Great replacement for the bulky garage opener
Somewhat easy to get connected, but like that it is compact and works well once connected

If you ride on two wheels, and use a garage, get this one.
Solid build. Grippy coating on buttons. This remote is EASY to program for one or two doors. The instructions are basically accurate, but Remember to press the bottom button until the led is SOLID(between 10-15 seconds, not just 10), then, once you’ve completed the next steps and linked the remote to the opener and the door begins opening, you may need to press the appropriate button once OR twice to close it initially(not just once). Then it’s ready to rock. It took me 8 minutes to program both buttons for garage, and workshop, including carrying the ladder from one to the other. My GF and I both ride bikes, motorcycles, mopeds 90% of the time, and need to keep a remote in an accessible, secure location on our person, backpack strap, etc. We’ve had issues in the past with the larger clip type Chamberlain openers(clik5u-great remote), where the buttons accidentally depressed while in a pocket or carrier pouch- accidentally opening a door on the workshop when I couldn’t see it. No bueno. In the past, I’ve seen this happen via our security cameras from over a block away, or while inside the house. We started putting them in small, hard plastic cases, and put the case in a zipped pocket or carrier pouch to avoid this. Total pain. Also, when returning home late at night, now it’s far safer and convenient to be able to access the smaller mc100-p2 and open a door to ride in without stopping and fumbling to get a “normal” remote out of secured pouch, then case. Game changer. With this model, while riding, we can keep it safely on an exterior mounted key chain or caliper, in a variety of locations, without worry that it will open a door while leaving. This is a huge peace of mind. I’m getting one for each of us. The normal, larger type are great for clipping to our vehicle’s visor, as intended, but for EDC, on two wheels, this is the one to get.

Works great!
This is my second purchase of this remote. Wife took first one and I just bought a car without Homelink. It was very easy to program the opener to this remote. It's very small. I want to tape it somewhere but there are screws in the back that have to be removed to change the battery. I keep it in the door handle area so it's easy to reach and out of the way. The range is good. I don't know it's limits but I use it from about 70 ft away when coming home. It's perfect so the door is completely open before I reach the opening. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a small remote. It's smaller than most car key fobs.

Use Door Opener’s Instructions For Newer Chamberlains!
I do NOT LIKE the VISOR remotes. They work fine but, think about it. Anyone could smash your car window at your home and hit the remote to gain entry to your residence. Or to just steal stuff out of your garage. Bought this so it’s on my keys and locked inside my home. Immediately began the programming once it arrived and had immediate trouble. I have a newer Chamberlain opener that is MyQ enabled. Tried the instructions that came with the remote several times to no avail. Thought about the issue for a minute and then tried the opener’s instructions for programming. SOULUTION: On my key fob the LED that flashes is amber in color; NOT BLUE! ALL I had to do was push and release the LEARN button on the opener, the LED on the opener began to flash. Pressed and released the button I wanted to use on the remote. BOOM!! The remote programmed properly and my garage door opened. Tested the remote/fob several times; worked perfectly every time.
