Could someone tell me if this really is like water with no odors and no texture does this really work?

It is like water, just a tiny bit more viscous. I don’t detect any odor. It does add some moisture & supposedly allows serums that follow to absorb better. However, I don’t find this any better than lower priced essences by other brands. I prefer Mad Hippie’s antioxidant facial spray; it’s not really an “essence” but it does the same thing, better I think, for a lot less.

Has anyone tried putting this is a spray bottle to spritz on face instead of using your hands, thus minimizing waste?

In my opinion mists create more waste but the essence is definitely watery enough and gentle enough for a mist application. I prefer using my hands.

how can i afford this?

There are more affordable alternatives from brands like Missha, CosRx and Purito that have similar ingredients. Luxury skincare is not essential.
