Will this kit repair the laminate where only the top coat has came off (mostly at joints).

This kit will repair the top coat of the laminate. You simply melt the wax (different colours mix together to blend in with the colour of your laminate) onto the chipped/damaged area and then smooth it out using the tools supplied. Very easy to use.

Will this repair very light scratches

No only deep holes - for scratches you can use scratch repair pens

When heating up the tool how long does the red light come on for if working properly? Mine just flashes then goes off straight away and isn’t hot

I recall it being quick. And I also recall you kept it pressed to work. It’s been a while.

is clear top coat included in this kit?

Hi, I do not think so. In my kit (which is 7 years old now), there are 7 wax blocks (one of which is white),1 melter,1 cleaning comb, 1 green/white pad and 1 grey sanding pad. You also need batteries. Hope this helps.
