This fan is amazing. I have a Vornado that is similar height and it pales in comparison. As much as I dislike having apps for everything, I download the app for the DREO. It gives you the ability to adjust the horizontal and vertical oscillation range, set timers, have it turn on/off based on room temperature. I haven’t tried that yet. You have several choices for fan speed and function. I personally like the natural setting. It changes the speed from high to low trying to mimic a breeze. I personally don’t feel the need to have the light on, but it is a cool bit of bling. You can choose the color you want or set it to fluctuate through all of them. If I was going to use the light, I would choose the breathe function. It is soothing. There is 8 speeds. A low, medium and turbo setting. I have the fan in my living room, near an air vent. If I am in the living room, I have the speed between 4 and 6. It does a fantastic job moving air and not freezing me out. My house is open between the living room. Dining room and kitchen. If I set the speed to 8, I feel the breeze in all spaces. Today, for example, I had it running with a horizontal oscillation range of 90 degrees and a vertical oscillation of 60 degrees, speed 6. I never once had to lower the ac temperature to cool the rooms. The ac was set at 77 degrees. The fan really moves air when it is blowing from the side vents. The oscillation feature bounces air throughout the room. The fan is quiet at any speed 6 and below. Above that, you will hear it, but it isn’t annoying. The fan comes with a remote. It has descent functions and will be good enough without the app, but the app takes this to a new level. At this point, I am disappointed that I spent so much on the fan that isn’t a DREO. That one is now relegated to my bedroom and will eventually given away. I definitely would recommend this fan.

Didn’t know I needed a fan until I bought this fan and now I don’t know what I did without this fan. I always thought it was like cheap to have a fan in your room. I put this in my living room number one. It fits in with the decor and when you put it in natural mode, it kind of just moves the air around so that there feels like there’s a breeze in the room. It’s very relaxing. Light is nice not too bright. The app has Super precise control of everything you can make presets and plus you can just link it with your smart devices and turn it on and off with your voice, very quiet, good quality and easy to assemble.

This fan is amazing, while the price is high and may be off putting. I promise its definitely worth it!! When i tell you this fan cools the room its absolutely mind blowing. I was expecting just your typical fan that blows okay air, but this thing is powerful and quiet you can feel a very cool breeze when this thing blows. The way it rotates in all different directions is awesome. I love the light and different colors you can pick. When you sync it with the app you can change to a lot of different colors, you can also dim or brighten the light. I would highly recommend

Fantastic fan (pun intended)! This impressive fan has easy to use while sophisticated controls. To start with it is QUIET, much quieter while more powerful than other fans or portable AC I have used previously. The thermostat is customizable to match speed with temperature. This is a great feature. It comes with a remote and numerous other controls are available via their app on your phone or Alexa. We have abandoned our portable AC except for nights over 85 degrees at bedtime. We are using our evaporative cooler to blow cool air into our house and with an open window blow hot air out. This fan circulates the air in our bedroom and continues after the evaporative cooler shuts off. Yes again quiet enough to comfortably sleep with this fan on. Assembly was straight forward with solid construction and a heavy enough base to avoid any wobble. All-in-all GREAT purchase with amazing features.

I absolutely LOVE my omni directional fan!! i will get more. i have used it on low along with a space heater to distribute air flow more evenly. i will be using it along with my portable a/c's to accomplsh the same evenly distributed airflow. it is so nice to get the air circulation going with any insence or diffusers you may be using. the fan is high quality and has a heavy base unlike the flimsy plastic ones you usually find. it is super quiet on the lower settings but of course a bit more noise at its highest setting(s). the light is a nice perk. it would be even greater if it had an area where you could add essential oil(s) to be distributed around the rooms. I love that it has a remote control also. You will not be disappointed with this fan and i highly recommend it. this is the first time i have invested more money on a fan other than the portable a/c's and i am so happy i did

This fan has been a game changer for us. Unlike other fans we've tried that have to sit in the window or simply move warm air around, this one actually does an excellent job keeping us cool throughout the night. The height and airflow are perfect for our bed, and it reaches both my wife and me comfortably. My wife experiences severe hot flashes, and this fan has made a noticeable difference in helping her stay cool and sleep better. If you're looking for a fan that truly does the job, I highly recommend this one. It's quiet, effective, and worth every penny. My bedroom gets hot so I keep the door open and use this fan to push cool air in and onto the bed. It's been very effective so far and I don't sweat in my sleep as much as I used to. I've had it for over a month and it blows just as strong as on day 1. The app is nice and has good features. I usually keep it the fan in Sleep mode even during the day cause it's quieter. But on hot days I turn it to Normal or Ultra, which blow tons of cool air. Also I appreciate not having to get up to move the fan when I am already in my bed. I use the app several times a week but not usually every day. This fan plus our main AC and a smaller AC unit keep us incredibly cool in our hot stuffy top floor 2BR apartment, which in past summers was unbearably hot and stuffy. The fan also looks nice with the backlight on. The material is attractive and seems strong enough. The fan was easy to install. The reviews for the fan were so good that I thought it would be like having another small AC unit. Don't get me wrong, I gave it 5-stars cause it's great. But it's still just a fan. Best fan ever? For its size, yes probably, so far one of the best, especially with the app.

Lost 1 star because of power cord placment, which unless you keep the whole unit relatively close to your outlet, the cord could be a pretty significant tripping hazard. Also don't love the huge vertical wall plug; would have been better it if could be horizontal maybe. But otherwise, it really is an awesome fan. I have it in my 700 Sq ft apartment, and move it from room to room. It's got some weight, but not too heavy to move. Sturdy enough at the base so I'm confident it won't tip over easily. Easy to assemble. A ton of ways to customize its settings if you download and use the app. If you want just basic hi/med/low functions on a fan, you don't need to spend the money on this model. You can control it from the unit itself, the i included remote control, and the app. Highly customizable options on app only. You can customize fan speed, the degree of horizontal and vertical auto oscillation. Can customize timer and scheduled on/off periods. Has an ambient temp sensor so you can set it to speed up when room gets hotter or slow down when room gets cooler. Sleep setting has it decreasing speed every half hour. Natural setting has it speeding up and slowing down to mimic breeze. This setting is so relaxing to fall asleep to if you like white noise. It's quiet. The loudest it gets is on turbo/highest setting, and even that isn't that loud. Highest setting moves some serious air, and lower settings are pleasant, calmer circulation. Remember I'm in an apartment, don't know how this would be in larger spaces like big living rooms. But I imagine for most average bedrooms it'd work great. I've only had it 1 day so I can't speak to its longevity. It's a pricy fan, but so far I don't regret the splurge since I live in a really hot/humid area.

Great fan, intuitive and quiet! You can point it anywhere you want and have it blow straight up if you like, light is nice as well. It is very short though I was a bit shocked in the height and almost returned it, I have it on a small pedestal and it blows over my bed perfectly.
